"DATING CONTRACT" I read it out loud,why would he give this to me, maybe he wants me to find a candidate,"sir what am I suppose to do with this" I asked, he laughed, showing his white pearly teeth," for you to sign" he replied, I looked at the contract then back at him, he was back to being serious no hint of playfulness on his face," me sir you want me to do this" I asked, not knowing why he chose me, he could pick anyone, why her," to save your job" he replied," so my job was still on the line, I contemplated but I couldn't do it, even though it may cost me my job and it wasn't going to be easy to find another place like this," sir I'm sorry but I don't think I can do it"he gazed at me for a few seconds and gestured that I should keep going, I wondered why but I just kept on reading, my eyes widened at the lat paragraph, I get paid 3 million dollars for this, I couldn't believe it , I get paid to date him,I looked at my boss who was looking at me, I wondered why he chose me, I mean he could get any other woman why me, I was confused I didn't know what to do, I could accept this money and pay off the remaining debt we had and start a new life 3 million is a lot, but then again I couldn't just date him, I could barely speak to him, talk less of dating of him," sir I need more time to think about it please" I said, he nodded," another thing just because I gave you this contract opportunity doesn't mean I've forgotten the embarassment you put me through" he said, I couldn't tell whether or not he was angry and his eyes were useless in deciphering his emotions," sir actually it wasn't intentional, I had no idea of what was happening today" I said hoping he won't fire me, even though my explanation didn't explain much," well I have nothing to say to you as it was expected from you to act in that way, so that's why I always tell you take copies" I mentally face palmed myself, I couldn't believe he found me incompetent up to the point that he had to backup everything," so if it was unexpected I would have fired you but since your as predictable as you are it's fine, but the next time you make a mistake like that again, I won't go easy on you" he said and went back to his desk,I couldn't believe I, I didn't get fired, I couldn't believe it, ho wasn't I fired," miss tessa" he called me,I turned around," you have the rest of the day off to think" I couldn't reply, I just nodded my head at him before things got weird, I was back home and met mia watching TV, I was still angry at her, I almost lost my job, she noticed my presence and wanted to speak but I just went back upstairs,I was in no mood what so ever to speak to her, I went upstairs and brought the contract out and flipped to the next page, it was titled RULES, so they were rules I thought inwardly,

RULE #1: PARTY B WILL LIVE WITH PARTY A FOR THE DURATION OF THE CONTRACT

RULE #2 : PARTY B IS NOT ALLOWED TO BE IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH ANYONE DURING THE CONTRACT

RULE #3: PARTY B AND PARTY A WILL ACT AND BE KNOWN AS A COUPLE TO THE WORLD

RULE #3: INTIMACY IS ALLOWED BETWEEN PARTY A AND PARTY B IF THEY DESIRE TOO

RULE #4: THIS CONTRACT IS A NON DISCLOSURE CONTRACT SO PARTY A AND PARTY B ARE NOT ALLOWED TO DISCUSS THESE TERMS WITH ANYONE OUTSIDE THE CONTRACT

RULE #5: PARTY B STILL MAINTAINS THE POSITION OF SECRETARY FOR PARTY A

I read through everything once more again, everything was okay except rule 3, me and my boss will never desire to be intimate, not ever I'm very sure he finds me unattractive so No, I got up from bed and thought this might not be as bad as it looks like, just me dating my boss, who thinks I'm predictable and always has backups for anytime I fail, I face palmed myself, I can't believe he sees me as such a big clutz, I looked down at the space that was meant for my signature, I contemplated some more the signed it, this is not gonna be easy.

The next day was a Saturday so I had to give my boss the contract hand to hand at his home, but the thing was I didn't know his home, suddenly an idea popped into my head, I called the manager," what is it tessa" he asked his voice gruff as if he just woke up from sleep," sir I need a favour" I said," what" he asked," where does the boss live" I asked," why do you want to know that" he asked, I couldn't tell him about the contract so I lied," I have a document that needs his signature and I forgot to give it to him yesterday" I said,he waited a moment, then i heard the notification beep," thank you" I said," you know I'm still surprised you have your job" he said and I cut the call, I wonder maybe it's the day I quit my job some people would rest, I scanned the address and got into a cab.

" Thank you I told the cab driver abd he was off, I stepped in front of my boss's home sorry mansion, his place was huge, I walked up to the gate and gave it a knock, a man that was twice my size came out, he scrutinised me and gave me a way to enter, I guess he doesn't consider me a threat to let me easily into the house, I walked into the compound and looked at the building it was huge and white, I knocked at the door and a middle-aged man in a suit came to open the door, i guess he was the butler or something," Good afternoon" he greeted," good afternoon, I'm here to see Mr raymond I'm an employ of his and I have a document to give to him" I explained," oh you must be miss tessa please come in" he said and let me in, the inside was even more beautiful, the furnitures were white, except for the shelves that were grey, there was a fire place at the back with a chair," please sit" thr man said and I sat down, he offered me a drink which I declined, I sat down and waited for my boss.
