I don't know how long I slept. The first thing I remember is lying next to Sebastian. My head was on his lap. I slowly opened my eyes to see us in a different environment. A lush green forest. We were inside a carriage that was driven by unicorns.

S: You're awake.

C: How long did I sleep?

S: Three days straight.

C: That long? What happened while I slept? Where are we?

S: We are at the edge of Tirna. The land of the fey.

C: Why are we here?

S: The Queen of all fey invited me. She wants to know the progress of our quest. She also has retrieved a few scrolls, and we need to get them.

C: What about me? I wasn't invited.

S: All fey creatures have high respect for the Lunari. Your people gave them many boons.

C: But what it was to do with me? I'm only a few months old.

S: You are the last Lunari. The thing that keeps those boons alive is you. The news is spreading that one Lunari survived the war. To some, you are like a Goddess, and to others, a threat.

I put on the coat, and shortly after we arrived. It was beautiful. Green until the eyes can see. We walked on the road to the palace. It is the largest tree in the middle of Tirna.

While Sebastian was warning me, that is when the trouble happened. Some kids were playing tag in the market. That is when a little kid, a Minotaur bumped into me. We both fell to the ground.

C: It's ok, just be careful next time.

The kid just stood up and ran off after that. His dad rushed to us, worried about what happened.

Minotaur: I'm so sorry. I already told my kids not to run in the market or something like this will happen. Here let me help you up.

He reached out to me. I grabbed his hand then I didn't realize my rag coat was stuck to a tree root. When the Minotaur pulled me up, my massive coat didn't stand a chance against his massive strength, and it ripped.

C: Dammit. Well, I can't help it now. Thank you for the lift.

Minotaur: I'm sorry about your coat.

Suddenly he was worried for some reason. I didn't understand why. Then I realized that he was staring at my leg. The coat was torn open, revealing my mark through the spot.

Minotaur: I'm...

The Minotaur suddenly dropped to his knees and started begging.

Minotaur: Please forgive me, and my kid. He didn't know what he was doing. Please forgive us Moonborn.

Half of the market was now looking at us by now.

S: That is quite enough. Let's leave.

We walked fast to the palace where some guards stopped us.

Guard: State your purpose.

S: We are here to speak to the Queen. Here's the invitation.

Sebastian went ahead. But as I tried to enter, the Guard grabbed my arm.

Guard: That invitation was for him only. You stay.

C: But he's my partner. I'm with him.

As I tried to enter again, the Guard grabbed my wrist twisting it, and threw me to the ground.

Guard: I said you stay.

C: Bastard.

I couldn't help it. I have to wait for Sebastian to get me in somehow or for him to finish. I sat down at the entrance and waited. I looked down at my body. My wrist was bruised and turned purple. My knees started to bleed. I had no choice but the heal it.

Guard: What are you babbling?

Faint light emanated from my hand. First I healed my wrist. This is when the Guard noticed the mark on my arm and leg.

Guard: Oh no.

Then he looked at my knees. It was still bleeding. There were several drops of silver blood on the ground. At first, I didn't notice him watching me. My eyes were closed as I concentrated on the spell. He took off his helmet. That is when I saw he was a half-dragon. He tried to approach me.

Guard: I'm so sorry.

C: Leave me be.

Guard: I-I didn't know.

C: What? That I'm a Lunari. Who the fuck cares. You shouldn't do this to anyone. No one deserves to be treated like this.

The guard just stood there frozen in place. After I healed both my wrist and my knees Sebastian came back 5 minutes later.

S: I'm here. I asked for an invitation for you as well, come.

C: Coming.

I didn't want to make a seance or get him in trouble, after all, he was just doing his job, still, he could have been a bit gentle. I was walking behind Sebastian when, just for a split second, I looked into the guard's eyes. Just for that second, all of my marks glowed up in white.
