14 King Request

No no this can't be. Marley felt frustration building up. Roberto was in Harz and is also a a Prince. The story of Harz Princes describes them as women destroyers . How can she be in love with someone who left her and never came back . Tears were full in her eyes  and the same showed in Mariline eyes. Carmalo noticed it and found an instant solution.  He used his mage ability to dry it up but both girls were certain that the princes saw their eyes glistening.

" I'm sorry but I can't stay here a minute. Hey Marley you wanna come?" Mariline's voice was firm but Marley sensed the crack. They couldn't leave now. They had to force and greet each other regardless of the bitterness they felt. 

" Just hold on a little. Lets pretend like we don't know them and let everything to be over . ok" Marley whispered to her. Mariline agreed with her nd shifted her gaze away from Liveda as Marley shifted hers away from Roberto. 

"I apologize you majesty for our unexpected call to the princes. They are friends of ours and we had no idea that they were royal" Marline said and bowed to ease the tension among the crowd.  The King and responded with a fake smile as he clapped his hands for servants to bring in give. 

"As the last descendants of Lord Valix, i felt that it is right to invite you back to Harz at least and permit your beautiful children to enroll as students of our magical institution. We are honoured to have the Grunch in our presense and hope you have a joyful stay. I have personally arranged for you stay in the palace. Feel welcome. The Stampford family are also welcomed to stay in the palace as well. He said and looked at Marley and then over to Mariline. What business did these two ladies have with his sons?

" Thank you but we would have to decline your order. We agreed to stay with the Stampfords for the meantime in order to prepare and tidy our home which has been left untouched for many year" Edward respectfully alerted the king who felt bitter by his words. Edward knew that Amelia was anxious and worries. The last thing he needed was for his woman to be stressed. A stressed woman births an unhappy man.

" But i insist good sir. You are a direct descendant of Lord Valix. Your home is the palace" This time, they knew he was ordering them to stay . Edward sighed and looked at Amelia who had no other choice than to nod with a fake smile.

"Very well your majesty" Edward said resulting into an ended congregation.

"Liveda is real and he's Roberto's brother. I don't know why it hurts so much when I saw him Marley. I agree I'm crushing on him but we only know each other in the dream." Mari voice filled with emotions. While they were getting a tour around the palace, she pulled Marley to a spot and they both hugged tightly to console themselves.

" Did you tell him you are Elimen?" Marley quickly broke the hug at a realization. Her gaze bore into Mari's  eyes with shock, hoping not to hear the worse response. 

"I am not Elimen" Mari frowned and defended herself. Why would those above choose her. Yes it is true that she had weird dreams but nothing showed that she was the chosen one of Elimen.

"You refuse to accept it but you are. I'm not supposed to tell you this. We all agreed to hide it from you. I know you know who you truly are ,you just don't want to accept it. Tell me what you have told him so far about yourself" Marley spoke with guilt all over her face. Mr and Mrs Grunch were going to be disappointed in her.

" I told him a voice calls me Elimen and it's freaky weird. . Plus I haven't manifested any power apart from steam mage so you shouldn't be too certain. I'm honestly not worth that power" Mari jokingly said. They looked around and realized that they were no more near their families, this meant that they were lost. Both looked at each other and rushed towards a gate, hoping to exit from an entrance to seek for help but they ended up in a garden. 

It had rose flowers and all sought of flowers. The colors were beautiful. Mari inhaled them , a smile appearing on her face as she already seemed addicted to the flowers . Sniffling here and there like a puppy.

There was a little peace of mind until Marley spotted Roberto . Another person was beside him and it was Liveda. As if Mari had sensed him. She turned and their eyes met. Marley tried to stay a distance away from Roberto but he grabbed her and took her somewhere else.
