13 Harz Palace

Liveda and Roberto stood in the garden while having a normal conversation when the queen walked towards them. They spotted her from the entrance and gently bowed , awaiting her embarrassing call. Liveda had a frown but Roberto had a sinister smile, ready to tease him. She shook her head as she saw the expression of exhaustion on her son.

"Cubcake, the Grunch family will be visiting today. You and Roberto will have to greet them nicely, for they are the Grunchs, the last descendants of Lord Valix," she  announced.  They looked at each other with wonder. Why did the king seek their presence ? Speaking of the Grunch family, wasn't the guy born without magical abilities. 

Why then would the king seek an audience with them? Or did his father suspect that Elimen came from his children? Liveda wondered and frowned. He knew who Elimen was already, the king was rushing for no reason.

They both nodded their heads in agreement as she exited the garden. Liveda honestly didn't care about the Grunch  family. Why should he even bother meeting them? Roberto seemed to be thinking the same thing, but he shook his head disapprovingly because it was the king and queen order for them to be present..

"Berto! Are you thinking about your lover again? You need to keep her off your mind to reduce stress. Besides, we are the Princes of Harz and need to be present to welcome this so-called Grunch family," Liveda teased, although he wasn't interested in attending .

"No not her, I'm thinking about something else. The name does sound familiar. I think I've heard someone mention it before at school in the human world. What if one of the Grunch kids attended the human school?" Roberto pondered aloud. Liveda understood his curiosity. As demon mages, it was very easy for them to sense magic but Roberto  probably couldn't fish out any .  They must have used a disguise spell while in the human land.

Let's just head back to our chambers and prepare . They would arrive soon if they are already in Harz. Before they could even completely exit the gardens. A servant walked towards them and bowed. 

" Prince Liveda , Prince Roberto. Your presence is needed in the palace auditorium by the king." He said and exited as well.

Both princes headed to their various chambers and allowed the maids to wear them something royal before stepping out. They both walked out in pride to face the visitors but instantly choked .

Liveda watched who Robertos' gaze was directed to and she stood beside Mariline. it was obvious she was his mystery girl. Roberto also realized his as well. Both girls seemed shocked and they were also choking like the guys. Everybody didn't know what was going on. Did they know each other. Why weren't they exchanging formal greetings but rather staring deep into each others' soul.

"Liveda" "Roberto" they spoke at the same time and now the auditorium was filled with complete silence. There was an exchange look between her family.

"Mariline"" Marley" the princes spoke together to. It was as if their breaths were shortening. What was Mariline doing here? She isn't save here. She would be a target to go against Liveda. Apart from that, she was his weakness, his mate.
