2 Dreams

"Are you shy" Her dark gaze lingered over his perfect body as she but her lips and chuckled in a sinister format. He stood Infront of her fully naked with a hint of embarrassment all over him.

"I'm a virgin" He whispered, making her to smile broadly as her perfect exposed body moved closer to him and rubbed his lips.

"I am your master. Please me" She ordered and gently bit his ear.

How did the sweetest angel turn into a demoness with unlimited power .

The atmosphere was tense as Mariline Grunch found herself lost in a mysterious and unsettling place. As a nerdy teenager whose interests mainly revolved around books, her best friend, and her family, she couldn't comprehend how she ended up in such a chaotic situation. Mariline hailed from a fantasy world hidden from humans, but her family had been forced to reside in the human realm.

Sadly, she hadn't inherited a remarkable magical ability like her siblings. Instead, she possessed the power to manipulate steam - an ability she found utterly useless. Even her younger brother had the power to control flames, making her feel inadequate and unattractive. Only her striking green eyes seemed to be an exception in terms of physical allure.

As Mariline tried to recollect how she got to this ominous forest, she could only recall sitting on her bed, engrossed in her studies. Her life felt bizarre, as if she had transmigrated into another reality entirely. The details were hazy, but she vividly remembered running through the dense forest, a sense of urgency guiding her every step.

Strange voices called out to her, repeatedly uttering the word "Elimen." Though this felt strangely familiar, she couldn't shake off the feeling that something was amiss. Turning her head, she caught sight of a mysterious shadow rapidly approaching her. Filled with terror, she screamed, desperately pleading for help.

Her panicked sprint abruptly ended when she slipped and fell into a body of water - either a lake or a pond, though she couldn't discern the difference amidst her fear. Drowning, Mariline believed she was meeting her end. Moments later, darkness enveloped her, stealing her consciousness. When her eyes fluttered open, she was met with the sight of her sister, holding a jar of water and smirking mischievously. Confusion and frustration washed over her as she struggled to understand the situation. She had just experienced a horrifying ordeal, and now she was being greeted with her sister's laughter?

"Mariline, can't you be awake by now? Seriously," her older sister, Adrenia, said between fits of giggles.

"Would you please act like a human for once? I practically went through hell and nearly died," Mariline retorted, gasping for breath. Adrenia paused, her laughter fading away as she stared at her sister in astonishment before bursting into an even louder fit of laughter.

"What's so funny?" Mariline asked grumpily, crossing her arms.

"Firstly, I can't be a human because I'm not one. Secondly, you were just having a dream, you idiot," Adrenia responded mockingly. Mariline momentarily blanked out, facepalming herself once comprehension dawned upon her. It had all been a dream. But then how did she fall asleep? Upon awakening, she remembered returning from school, going straight to her room with a book in hand. She must have unintentionally dozed off. Mariline loved her studies, but at times, she wished she could travel back in time and slay the person who invented them.

"Hey, loser! Did you dream of steaming the whole house and getting kicked out by Mom and Dad?" Adrenia taunted, intentionally provoking Mariline with talk of her powers. Mariline had to come up with a swift comeback, but what should it be?

"No, but I definitely dreamt of pushing you off a cliff. Oh, and being called Elimen," Mariline shot back, hastily covering her mouth as soon as the words left her lips. Panic surged within her. Elimen had great importance, and she had just shared her dream with her sister. Adrenia would surely laugh at her and realize the pathetic extent of Mariline's powers. Emerging from her thoughts, Mariline noticed her sister lost in contemplation.

"What else did you see?" Adrenia asked, prompting Marilines' confusion.

"Huh?" Mariline uttered. It had only been a dream, after all. She had dreamed of many scenarios, like making out with the school heartthrob, Caleb, even though he didn't even know she existed. Life just wasn't fair.

"Adrenia would you leave my room . I need to prepare for school" ,she still had that thinking face for a minute but it disappeared and got replaced with a tease smile.

" Do not dress and embarrass me Mari. Look hot since I'm supposed to drive you and the jerky junior bro of ours in my car ", Mariline noticed a mischievous smile taking over Adrenias' face as she left the room with an annoying swagger. Mariline quickly rushed into the bathhouse, showered, and dressed herself in blue jeans with a white and green top. She sprayed a luxurious perfume, although she knew no one would notice the scent due to her usual invisibility. As she headed out of the room, she stopped by the kitchen to grab some coffee and her favorite chocolate cake, which she devoured hastily.

Carmalo, Mariline's cocky junior brother, shouted her name from outside, demanding her presence. Mariline couldn't help but think about how troublesome her siblings were. As she rushed towards the door, a strong gust of wind impeded her progress. This was not the first time she had experienced this; it was the same eerie voice from her dream. Why was she hearing it now that she was awake?

The voice firmly uttered, "Elimen, Elimen." Mariline covered her ears with both hands, hoping it was just a silly hallucination. However, the forceful wind intensified, blowing harder against her face and even infiltrating her nostrils. She cried out, perplexed by the strange occurrence, and took a seat on the ground. The wind felt almost maddening, as if it were wrestling with her. To make matters worse, she kept hearing the voice of the entity—calling her Elimen. She wrestled with the idea that she was being haunted by a ghost, perhaps targeted for a sacrificial ritual. Tears flowed down her face as she clutched her legs, convinced she was losing her sanity.

As Mariline cried, she began to see images of an elderly man dressed in white holding a book. She was determined not to get involved in any cult activities, as his face remained unclear. However, she distinctly heard him say, "It is time. Arise and claim your power! Wake up and be whole." Her eyes instinctively shut, and her body experienced intense heat and coldness. She struggled to breathe, feeling a stiffness in her limbs and an electric current coursing through her veins. She sensed the presence of blood and various spirits surrounding her, but when her eyes snapped open, the figures before her were tinged in red. It was her family, frozen in shock as they stared at her.
