The Lost Island Of Mystical Creatures

Astrid Hale lives on a mystical island filled with Mystical creatures called the Mystics. Only those who share a soul with a mystic can live on the island. Astrid was five when a tragic boating accident left her parents dead and her drowning at sea. The Guardian of the island finds her at the bottom of the ocean dying slowly and shares half of his soul with her. He takes her to the island and teaches her how to use her Guardian power to protect the mystics. The few people living on the island are Astrid's friends and also her only family.
