Chapter-20 Who Will Laura Choose?

She said, " Guys, you are turning a simple conversation into an argument between two species. Don't do that. Every living being has their good qualities and shortcomings both. Don't fight over that. We can't discuss about this because we will have different views so, don't fight over this. We all have been co-existing together for a long time and will keep on. Don't pick a side just because you belong to it. We are all a family and will remain too. Let's have a happy and peaceful lunch and end this topic. "

We all looked at Eliza, surprised who went back to eating after saying such strong words of wisdom. She is so mature now and cool too. 

Taylor said, "I am sorry , Max. I should not have reacted that way. You are right. Humans are cruel amd selfish but, all humans are not like that. There are some humans who are good too and prefer peace over greed. I am sure there are some supernatural creatures eho do prohibited things too. Please don't hate entire community just because of some handful people. "

"I am also sorry, Taylor. You are like a brother to me now and I don't want to fight with my brother and you are right too. There are a lot of supernatural creatures who hurt humans even though, we are not allowed to. ", Max said, with a guilty expression. 

" Ok kids, stop being so serious. It does not suit you all. How did you all even reach that topic when you were talking about Laura's childhood trauma? You all can really do anything. ", Mom said, smilingly. 

We all started laughing and Max and my eyes met. He quickly diverted his eyes and started eating. He started thinking something while eating and his expression became sour.
