C 25 Dreaming

Another series of questions pop on. And we filled it again. 

"Here in the facility, a Combine ability users are considered independent abilities, even if they are only complimenting each.

Like someone here, who has Long-distance sight as well as energy manifestation." The instructor pointed at someone.

The Russian guy stood and introduced himself as Evankov. He said he has the ability to see up to one kilometre as if it was within his hands reach.

"And my other ability is sending energy to any place within my sight without obstruction. 

For example, I send my energy several km away from me, and wherever it goes is like my eyes are there seeing the surroundings."

He said the limit of the sight is within 30 to 40 km, depending on the location. He did explain more aspects of it, but it was boring.

"This is a perfect example of two combined abilities. He is an emitter and also has his eyes mutated which gives him great Eagle sight.

Any other person who wants to share his combined ability with us?"

A small man stood and explained himself too. He can turn invisible, and he can release fog energy to shroud his body with it. It makes him able to pass through objects.

The teacher explained that the person's skin is mutated to a certain extent, which gives him the ability to camouflage with the surrounding light.

As for the Fog energy, it was one of the mysteries they wanted to solve because it can make anything it touches immaterial to a certain time.

"UNIQUE"

The class continues like that. The last ability was a Unique one. He said that Unique is not that special sometimes.

It is just that if a person was not able to be classified into any of the five, they were thrown into that class.

But the moment they find and understand how the ability works, they will class that person into the rightful class.

He gave an example of a person that was loved by animals. Until now, they found nothing different about that person. 

He has no mutation and releases no energy. And he is not a Connector

Another unique ability is Flight. The person can fly, but unlike other people with flight, he can just fly if he wishes to.

And then he pointed at me. He said I'm one of the unique. I have a good sight that can see the truth of things vaguely. 

But they should not think that my one black eye is a mutation. It was just a result of an experiment. 

And between my eyes, there is no difference. He explained a lot, and the class ended just like that.

We went to the cafeteria. There I met with a trio, Mharoni, Amina, And Abe. And Abe was busy explaining something.

We greeted each other. It was nice meeting them again. But I did not see Zhen and I did not ask about him.

The cafeteria is full and almost everyone that I saw before. Even the German and his friend, the tail man and his tail.

My life in the facility easily adapted to the new routines. Wake up early morning, wash, go to class, go to the cafeteria, return to class. And also I roam around.

I made some friends in the class. They seem to think that I'm one of those that we're brought from an underdeveloped part of the world.

And yes, I kept my routines on tapping. Sometimes the screen will appear,, but sometimes it becomes silent.

One thing for sure is, in class the screen always appears.

After a month, they made me undergo another nightmare. And my other eye iris turn black.

A week later, another nightmare, but no changes on my body this time.

I'm getting annoyed. The nightmares were never a pleasing experience that I want to go through, but somehow it was now they wanted to know more.

And they are getting satisfactory data through it!

"The more practice your ability, the more you are going to understand and also control it.

You trained and improved your body with exercises. So, also training your ability will help it adjust to your body more and also have it improve permanently.

But unlike your body, you can't train everywhere and achieve improvement. That means some of your abilities can only be trained for improvement in certain conditions or places."

My down mood has been kicking in weeks ago because of the constant nightmare I'm experiencing.

That is why his explanations are dull to my ears, with no excitement or drive to know more. 

Gradually I doze off to sleep in the class. I can hear his voice moving away from my consciousness.

Floating in space is such a relaxing moment sometimes. I hope I will not meet with any of those giant entities again.

Let's see, how long have I been here? I think it's about eternity. Haha, it's about 525600 Thoughts. 

It is a good thing that I invented a way to keep up with time. Ever since I have been in this place I used to have memory lapses, but sometimes I remember that I have been here for longer.

I started counting from what I can remember of numbers, from one. And every passing time of a certain duration I will feel it's time to continue the next number, that is how every passing duration I count.

Just now it reached 525600 Thoughts. I call the unit 'Thoughts' because I have no better ideas. But if I have confusion, I just don't care. I will continue from where I last stopped.

I sense around with my body, it's still a void of black with nothing to perceive. 

Well, I don't hope to meet anything, unless it's a good thing. Hoooo, I sighed, let me speed up. 

Zooooooommmmmm

Ever since I was able to escape from those entities. I began to know more about myself and my surroundings.
