13 Episode 3: Two Worlds'!

"Well, the cavern's fucked up. That's straight reality."

The children gathered up around Mertens as she started counting them.

"..Six, seven and eight. Where's Candice and Bruce?"

Val stood a few metres apart, as told by Mertens.

The reason was to prevent the kids to freak out because of Val.

"Ahh, you both should answer when I call for your name. I called in support for evacuation, guys. Just wait it out and don't try anything stupid. You are as Important as The Sun's warmth to its system. Be responsible.--Can we go?"

Talking to the children and Val at the same time, Mertens showed some leadership when she was this young.

Val, from afar, felt her sincere thoughts through the force.

"Your eyes are scanning me, weird.. Look! I need you for something. But I need to know if you understand me before saying it to you."

Mertens and Val started to walk back to Quartier Faji, and meanwhile, Mertens wanted to speak of something to Val.

"At least, give me a hunch or something."

Mertens asked of Val, expecting her to ignore her as always.

But this time..

"Words not earnt, Listen I can do."

Using that short knowledge Val possessed, she spoke words that was simple yet meaningful to Mertens.

They first met when they were 12 years old.

Now that they reached both 19 years old, they learnt a few things of life.

The importance to trust and who to trust.

It was less complicated for Val who only ever gave her trust to Mertens whom she felt a great appreciation for.

But Mertens had a doubt.

Was Val truly sincere when she was considered a sith lord?

Was trusting a dark side user of the force, the most wise thing to do?

But that doubt didn't stop her from speaking to Val.

"The people you work for, The Throne sent you for a special Mission, right? I know what that mission is. I have the same. But You alone won't achieve it unless, we help each other. You are the strongest Force user I know, and I am the Best Lightsaber user someone will ever see. The palace at Theeds is guarded by mercenaries who are loaded with weaponry and wings to take down an army. But we can fend them off enough to get what we want. How about we divide the job? You take the sky. I take the ground.."

Val sensed once more that weird feeling through the force nature and detected the doubt of Mertens.

She locked eyes into Mertens before saying this:

"Friends, real meaning. A purpose, we shall have. Friends, to the end."

And the attack of The Queen of Naboo Palace at Theeds was set.
