 "Are you hiding something from me, Xiao Muchen?" 

Wang Yue stood up from her seat and walked near him. Xiao Muchen just turned his head to his right and a very small smirk looked to his left.

"Yes, I can see that you are at something, Xiao Muchen. What is it? Won't you tell me? I am asking you something…"

She enquired but in return only got another question thrown at her. 

"Do you think I am up to do something?"

"Yes, I can feel that you…you…know something…?"

She tried to ask but then she saw one man knocking on the door of the hospital room. 

"Sir, may I come in?"

Xiao Muchen gestured to the man to get in while he continued to eye Wang Yue's gaze. 

"Sir, we are ready to go. This could be problematic. I think you…"

"I haven't asked for your advice, Li Hao. You go, I will come in a minute."

The man in the black dress walked out of the room and Wang Yue glanced back at Xiao Muchen thinking about what they just spoke. But then she saw a small smile on his face that was of the happiness of a positive result.

"Wang Yue, take Ai Ai to my home. You both will stay there until I tell you. I will come home directly. My secretary will take you home. Be careful."

Saying that he looked at Ai Smith who was still sleeping peacefully and then turned back giving the last glance to the gorgeous girl. He walked near the door of the hospital room when heard Wang Yue's voice again.

"Be safe…"

He stopped in his steps and turned back to smile at her.

"I will be. Don't worry."

"I will be waiting for you at home."

A big smile scattered around Xiao Muchen's face when he listened to the request from a sweet voice and went out for his work. Wang Yue sat down on the chair, seeing now they are all alone in the room and then realisation hit her hard. 

"I am in China now with my Xiao Muchen. He gave me permission to stay with him and now without any suspicion, I am going to stay at his house with him. Oh, God."

As the thought came to her mind she ran to the window of the hospital room from where it was easy to see the gate of the hospital. She stood there for a minute and then saw Xiao Muchen's car moving out of the gate. 

"You permitted me to stay at your place with you. Thank you so much. Thank you."

She then came back to sit near the Ai Smith. She caressed her hair softly and tears rolled from her eyes warming her cheeks from it.

"I am sorry, Baby. I am getting happy because of your problem but I promise you, You will meet your mother soon. I believe in Xiao Muchen more than myself. He never makes false promises. If he said he will find her then he will find her."

"Ma'am, we are ready with the papers. We will be heading home now." 

Li Chao walked inside the room and Wang Yue got up to look at the sleeping girl. Li Chao walked near Ai and bent to take her in his arms when Wang Yue stopped him for a second.

"But she is still sleeping. She may get scared if she sees someone not familiar with her. Let me carry her so that even if she gets up in between she won't get scared."

Wang Yue then bent down and took her into her arms when Li Chao stopped her in her tracks. 

"But Ma'am. Your arms will get hurt. We are on the fifth floor. It will take time to walk down. I will just call the hospital staff. They will give us a stretcher. Why are you…" 

"This is okay, Li Chao. I can handle it. She is not so heavy." 

She walked outside without waiting for Li Chao to say much but with the anxiety in his mind, he almost ran behind her.

Wang Yue kept looking at Ai Smith with a lot of emotions she was not even aware of but then came out of her trance hearing Li Chao's voice.  

"Ma'am, we are at sir's house. You have to get down now. Let me help you with her." 

Li Chao took Ai Smith from Wang Yue's arms and walked near the entrance of the front door. Wang Yue came out of the car and when her eyes fell on the house in front of her, her eyes widened with so many sentiments for the house. 

"Ma'am, welcome home. Come inside." 

Wang Yue heard him calling for her name but then she felt her body freeze with an unexpected event that happened in front of her eyes. 

"But in my last life, he never stayed in this home. Rather he hated to come here. When there was a time when Xiao Hui asked him to take me here, Xiao Muchen went away after getting angry on this topic. He never liked to talk about it, how can he stay here then?" 

A tiny yet most beautiful mansion was standing tall in front of her eyes. The small garden at the entrance is adorned with many different types of flowers. Then the porch at the entrance stood with the help of elegantly carved pillars. 

The main door of the house was so massive that it gave the impression of a palace door. The opened door of the main entrance showed many beautifying things about the house. 

Then her attention went to the gazebo on the other side of the house. A small pond and a big gazebo inside that pond with curtains hanging on all sides of it. The white lotus flower in the pond heightened the magnificence of the gazebo.

But her attention soon got back to the reality of her new life and she asked Li Chao the question her mind thought a hundred times. 

"How long is your sir staying at this house? Wasn't he supposed to live in Xiao's mansion? Or is this his temporary house?" 

"No, Ma'am, This is his own house. He stayed at Xiao's mansion only until he turned eighteen. He built this house for himself after leaving Xiao mansion." 

"But…He was staying at Xiao's mansion when we got married and after the first month's anniversary, we went to stay at our penthouse. This…this…He hated to come to this house. Aunty Su told me that he has bad memories of this house, so how can he stay here?" 

Thinking about it when she stopped near the first step to the house, she heard a voice that was very familiar to her. She closed her eyes immediately after hearing it when irritation started to boil inside her. 

"Oh no, Aunty Su…what the hell is she doing here?" 

Wang Yue thought inside her mind but keeping her calm she looked at the lady who was in her late forties and smiled looking at her. 

"Yue ma'am, you came? We were waiting for you. Chen Chen told me you are about to come with a little girl. Welcome home, Yue ma'am. Please come inside."
