the hidden palace

now ken was leisurely walking while his eyes were closed and smile was hanging on his face . well this divine sense was too convenient after all , he could see everything in 10s of kilometers radius around him much better than his eyes . even though his senses evolve with his bloodline but still for him now so many kilometers around him were impossible without divine sense .

he had completely forgotten about it because there was no need for ken to use this technique at all in the city . his senses and perception were enough but after he saw olivia use it , he discovered that it was like perception which solely used his strong mental power. the divine sense is simply his mental power which was enhanced by using qi . the control over one's qi was the main point so came the purity of qi .

Ken's control and purity were much better than most so his divine sense was not even noticed by the elders who ken could see were discussing about lin who is elder fang's grandson . others wont be able to hear anything because the distance was too far but Ken's qi was pure which resonated with the spiritual energy more easily so the sound was carried to him like nothing .

even the colours of everything seemed much better than seeing with his eyes . well in truth ken was just an exception because his mental power and qi were both too dense . so they complemented each other producing these favourable effects .

many disciples were scatterd here and there and ken could see them clearly . some were in small groups while some were alone . most of the ones who were alone were scouting somebody and maybe waiting for a chance to snatch their black jades . well they were not brave or stupid enough to attack everyone they see from the start as fights were unpredictable and they could even die .

but ken knew that when they become desperate for jades in the later phase of exam , killings would be frequent and many would not return back to city . some stronger people who just have more talent but not the right mindset , let their judgement influenced by external factors easily which will lead to someone or even their demise in the end .

ken was not a saint so he will not rescue everyone but only some of his acquaintances if he deemed necessary. but he wasn't forcing anyone to fight much less kill so his contempt for the bloodshed and the sect who promoted it this way increased more .

just as he was thinking , a disciple who ken considered a mob but remembered his face from guild , died brutally in the hands of a somewhat cute girl whose face was looking down on the fallen body with contempt . he even recognized this girl as she was one of the quiet ones who came to the sect with him . now ken could see that her true self changing in time or maybe she was like this from the start and just hiding it . this was pointless as ken couldn't possibly know so many things about everyone everyone.

the girl was holding a dark red carrot like herb which ken recognized as tier 3 blood jade . so this must be the reason behind this conflict as Ken could not find black jades on both of them after scanning their bodies . maybe she even had some enmity with the dead disciple. anyway no one but her knew the entire truth.

similarly fights were happening in more and more places as ken walked forward and the reasons were many like treasures , black jade or enmity. ken just sighed and let them be . he knew that he was being cruel because he had more than enough power to save everybody but he was not willing to kill others either . he had to kill to save one for avoiding future troubles and he couldn't even fully trust the one he saved to keep his involvement a complete secret either. so ken had no choice but let them be .

something interesting caught his sight and Ken's explorer senses were screaming that their was something special about that place . well even without special senses like that anyone would find that place special . because inside the largest mountain a huge castle built with precious looking materials was built. it was at the end of the island and more than 20 kilometers away from Ken's location .

ken could also see why nobody had found the place till now because there were many reasons. the entrance had good tier camouflage and maze formation while the area till the entrance which was at least a kilometer was a killing formation and even a few beast corpses were scattering on the flat ground on the mountain .

ken didnt know much about the history of the sect or even current top management. but he knew that these two formations were too much for them . ken could feel the power of the formations and both were peak tier 5 clearly set up by a master . Ken's interest was naturally peaked as even the inside of the hollow space was inscribed with many concealing formations. ken could see only vague features despite his powerful divine sense so for others this area must be completely sealed off .

so ken didn't bother running and continued to walk at least a few times faster pace because he didnt want to miss any encounter like the blue inferno fruit he had eaten . he would of course explore this few hundred kilometers area in these ten days but it was possible that he could be short on time after entering the hidden palace and finding something interesting. who knows so his current choice was wise and still he would reach the palace soon anyway ...
