outer disciple
" elder fang ! you were late as usual . the other two elders who went together with you have returned with their batch already for some time. " the lady respectfully talked with fang but didnt forget to berate him a little for being late .
elder fang was embarrassed because he remembered that they were late because he wasted time to boast in front of the children." cough.. elder samantha ! there were just some more children who had spirit roots this time ..." that shameless fang lied with a straight face but he was telling the truth as more than 100 children from blue moon city was the highest number till now .
elder samantha didnt talk any further as she was not looking for apology from fang . she was just a woman who liked to follow rules . " elder fang , now you can leave the further job to me . lin has already returned and is waiting for you at the fragrance restaurant .." this time samantha showed a little smile as she mentioned lin who was a very famous inner disciple of the sect and not arrogant like many others .
elder fang didnt even reply back and flew inside the city with a smile on his face . of course the clueless children were left dumbfounded by the actions of fang as he didnt even bother introducing samantha to them .
" children , let me explain you a little common knowledge first. there are mainly three types of positions in the sect . outer disciples , inner disciples and elders . you will follow me to the administration building first and after receiving your robes and the identification jade , you will officially join the sect as outer disciples . as for other positions just remember that normally inner disciples and elders will not bother outer disciples as they live in the inner part of the city whereas the outer disciples which number more than a million live in the outer city .
here the currency is sect contribution points and everything depends on it . as the new disciples you will receive 50 points in your identity jade which of course cannot be used by others . so please remember to not lose your identity jades as they serve as your identity in the sect and outside too . but dont worry about someone else misusing it either. now follow me inside .."
samantha didnt even allow anyone to clear their doubts and started walking inside the gate . the two pillars were huge and red cloud patterns were exquisitely crafted on them. the material was completely different from steel or iron much less stone and looked much better and sturdy . ken walked behind everyone at the end of the line as he watched what the outer disciples were doing .
he saw hundreds of stalls which all were being managed by outer disciples selling herbs , weapons etc which were common for ken as he had knowledge which contained most of the resources from the divine realm too . but he was a little confused because the names of some herbs were different from his knows despite the same structure . ken quickly blamed it on the fact that millions of years have passed after all so he decided to ignore this small problem for now .
the white road was long and it took more than an hour of walking to reach the first huge building which was too different from the common white buildings from till now. this one was red and golden and the shine was different which told that this building belonged to the authorities. it had 7 floors in total and the size of the building was of course huge . ken just followed everyone when they entered inside and saw many outer disciples carrying some kind of weapon like swords or sabers etc with them . samantha as usual didnt bother explaining what she didnt need to but ken easily understood from the huge board and the conversations that this was the mission floor . and according to the conversations the second and third floor contained the more important or difficult missions. ken ignored everything else after understanding the purpose and was thinking about alchemy and cultivation manuals.
they quickly arrived on the fourth floor while ken was lost in thoughts and what greeted them was a simple open room which only contained a large table with robes and small palm sized red jades and an old elder waring red robes .
samantha just nodded and like fang didnt bother explaining anything and ran away . ken guessed that she must be busy and was inpatient to continue her own work as she had a thoughtful expression which looked more beautiful than her usual serious face without any smile .
" I'm elder storm . just come here one by one and take the robes and a jade after dropping a drop of your blood on it ." this old fart was much worse than other two elders as he was clearly in no mood to properly explain anything to the new outer disciples . well he must be tired after handling the previous batches . ken had heard from fang that the red cloud sect recruited new disciples from every country or empire in their continent . there were only 3 empires and 57 cities according to him but the number of cites and provinces must be huge so the number of disciples will of course be huge . ken didnt bother properly thinking about this matter at first but now he could understand the huge number of outer disciples in the sect .
Ken's turn quickly arrived and he just used the simple knife on the table to cut his finger a little and dropped a blood on the jade . it was absorbed quickly and a number 50 appeared on it in small white which made ken smile as he remembered the technology from earth . the elder vanished instantly after ken finished collecting his goods which made everyone else awe at his power but ken licked his lips in excitement because he would definitely obtain this level of power in future so his eyes showed only confidence but no other emotion like respect or something.
ken left everybody else and quickly went to search for a place to rent as he had understood that everything including home , food etc must be bought with enough points and he was too much impatient to carefully choose the right cultivation method for him from the thousands inside his head . of course a huge sect like divine alchemy sect had accumulated various things in time so cultivation methods which couldn't be compared to that of any sect in this realm were like candies to ken now waiting to chose the tastiest one ...
