Ken's attacks were not powerful enough to break the formations forcefully yet . even with his little sword comprehension he still fell a little short . so he obviously would use his profound knowledge for the task .
ken used his perception and not the divine sense because of habit . the runes were visible to him as golden characters that numberd more than a hundred thousand were before him in the air . ken only used a few minutes and walked inside the formation normally. he was fine because he had slightly messed with the runes and his energy was scanned by the formation now . simply now the formation would not activate whenever he came here from now on .
he was spreading his mental power and easily walked the right path by following the runes . he arrived in front of the 3 meters long entrance to the cave in seconds and went inside . this place must have belonged to either someone very influential or a formation master because the high tier formations were all over the place even inside the cave .
ken simply covered the whole few kilometers area with his divine sense and was both disappointed and happy . he was disappointed because the small palace had only some inheritance about formations and a library which was useless to him .
as for why he was happy ? it's because he found a rare beast watching him from the highest point with caution . he was too happy because this beast was a demon spider . it was a tier 4 peak beast which was now pretty much extinct . he had read inside a book from library that these spiders were wiped out completely by joined force of 3 major sects in this realm . the beast was not called demon because it was related to demons but because they lived in huge pack and even the baby beast was as strong as a foundation realm cultivator.
ken couldn't care less about those things because he only wanted to eat this beast and only cared about its bloodline powers . he couldn't care less about its origin or what was the purpose it was here .
ken formed a 3 meters long sword with his qi which emitted the aura of a sharp weapon. so the spider was immediately on guard and it's more than 5 meters long body shivered.
ken used a space crack and instantly the sword pierced the beast . it was split into two but ken didnt even come out yet when he reappeared on the ground again. he only had exposed the hand and his attack while he was inside the space hole which was 3 meters wide . now that his comprehension increased a lot , the space hole was stabilized more and ken could even stay inside without any harm as long as he wanted .
he was sure that soon he could travel far distances in an instant without even using a space hole and only relying on his comprehension of space element . of course his qi and body strenght will be consumed but it's only natural .
the body fell down with a bang and ken happily took the ping pong ball sized beast core which was yellow in colour . he then roasted the meat after processing the body and started eating .
the meat was delicious as high tier beasts are usually delicious and the strong poison was no problem for ken . ken finished eating all the roasted meat in just a few minutes and immediately swallowed the core .
the core of a beast contained its energy which was naturally chaotic but Ken's art was supreme. he closed his eyes and the meat and the core started breaking down slowly and being absorbed by his cells .
the process was painful and it took 3 hours to complete absorb the meat whereas the core was still of same size but a little dim in colour . the poison was potent so Ken's cells were broken and reformed at much faster pace which caused him immense pain . but it was still far from enough to make ken flinch as his pain tolerance was too great . ken smiled because he knew that he had absorbed the spider's bloodline and gained its abilities but he soon was immersed I'm mefiation because the energy was too chaotic but pure . the pain was there but his organs now were too strong so it was nothing .
ken opened his eyes after 9 more hours and was grinning . of course because he was happy as his cultivation increased from earth realm 2nd level to peak 4th level now . ken stood up and his body produced crackling sounds . he dusted off his robe and pointed a finger forward in the air . white colour threads that were too thin and thousands in number formed a half or so centimeter thread that reached the palace which was more than 1000 meters far way in just a second and the huge door collapsed . ken was satisfied with the power and smiled ...
