Crimson Power Chp 12

#AIDEN POV#

"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH," I scream out as Juggernaut begins to squeeze me in one of his hands while the other holds some chains to me

I open my eyes and unleash a blast of heat vision on him that does nothing as he laughs and slams me into the ground while still holding me

(Think, dammit, think) I tell myself as I start vibrating at high speeds and when I feel myself getting loose for only a moment I take my chance and escape his grasp while I feel the sun's rays healing me

I glance at my hands which are currently broken and glowing a bright red-orange color that is very slowly dimming down

Looking back at Juggernaut who now looks much more like a demon than anything else

"This is bad," I whisper in pain as my jaw snaps back into place as I look at him

(Heat vision doesn't work on him since the barrier that surrounds him deflects it or it redirected to the other side of the barrier leaving him unharmed, he breaks out of a block of ice whenever I freeze him, and my physical attacks have no effect on him as if he nullifies the force behind my attacks) I take notice of everything about it

The only way I stand a chance is if I take that barrier down but how...

I dodge some more chains while holding in pain as my bones snap back into place

The barrier, I need to get rid of it somehow

Maybe, just maybe

I dodge another chain that was coming at me from the back and fly towards Juggernaut as fast as I could and got behind

I release a blast from my heat vision and see the barrier pop up

I punch it quickly so my skin touches it and as it lands I try to force my body to absorb it

I hold back a scream as my right hand breaks once more but I hold it as I try to consciously absorb the energy from the barrier

I scream as I can feel it...working

I feel the energy going into my hand as the demonic Juggernaut laughs out loud

"You are mine, WHAT?" He screams out as I use both of my legs to essentially jump from him in panic

I feel my right-hand burning and I watch as it starts to burn in crimson-colored flames as crimson-colored veins begin to appear on my exposed skin

I scream out loud but stop as Juggernaut grabs me

"GIVE IT BACK," He orders but I scream at him and my sight turns crimson as I can feel the veins reaching my eyes and I blast the Juggernaut away

I manage to glance at my right hand which is so damaged

I can see my bones, nerves, tendons, and muscles, and the tips of my fingers are gone which begin to heal as a bright orange color begins to appear across my body while the crimson-colored veins glow ominously

I fall to my knees as I scream

Liquid agony spreads throughout my entire body

Slowly the red-orange glow begins to face the veins that run across my body slowly disappear

I let out a breath as I hear my hand healing itself with a disgusted noise

I glance at the rushing Juggernaut while feeling my solar energy and I instinctively know that I can do something else with it

Something else is in my body that wasn't there before

Whatever it is, it gives me an incredibly empty feeling but I KNOW what it can do, what my body did to make the empty feeling and what it is capable of doing

I consciously focus on the solar energy stored in my cells and focus on the empty feeling and send it there and with a thought, I can feel it and in my mind, a flash of crimson appears and I smile

It was risky and painful, but so very worth it

I stand up as the pain in my body recedes to just being sore, then nothing, I feel fine as the Crimson energy helps my solar energy heal me and make me stronger

"Impossible," Says Juggernaut as he steps back from me in caution

I focus for a moment on sending Solar Energy to the place I am generating the Crimson Energy

(So, I have to consciously send energy to it in order for it to generate more Crimson Energy. Not a bad trade-off,) I think darkly as I look at Juggernaut and I can see a slight crimson hue on my skin

I run towards the Juggernaut as he runs at me at the same time

We collide causing a shockwave to happen

I smile as I grab its demonic looking helmet as I take in his Crimson Energy greedily
