13 Chapter 13 Suffering to get stronger

After storing the dungeon away,we directly went to the nearest town which was three hours away from the location we were.
And apparently the princess's party too went to this location to rest,well after fighting wave after wave of monsters it is obvious that they would chose a location to rest a day or two,and not only they were here to rest but also to give time to mourn to their comrades that were killed by the monsters.
Yet it was not surprising to have found them here,instead it was something I planned to do if I quickly passed the trial.
Despite it felt like years inside the room only a few hours passed outside.
And if I took too much to pass the trial,I planned to directly visit the elven kingdom.
Currently we are dining together in the same table of Theresa whom is blankly eating her salad and watching the three of us enjoying our food,fortunately she ordered her troops to eat before her as she had something to do,probably to send a letter or message through an artifact to tell news about the seed, so that is why she is alone.
There would be an awkward atmoshere for all of us, as who would peacefully dine in the same place of the ones who caused the death of their comrades?In fact a fight would happen.
Finally the princess started to talk.
"You...already passed the trial?Wait,maybe you quickly failed hence the explanation you are here,right?..."
"T-that's...yeah,already passed it." Obviously I made sure to lower the volume of my voice so that only Theresa was able to listen.
"I-impossible...only the ruler of the dwarves and the Matriarch of the angels were able to...not even my father..."
Like a broken record she continued to murmur and repeat broken sentences with a blank expression on her face.
Well,I can't blame her.Normally in the last floor of a dungeon which the core is resided,there's always a boss or multiple bosses with double or triple the stats of the maximum level of the entrance of a dungeon.
Let's say that in a dungeon the maximum level one can enter is 50,and obviously like the beginner dungeon you cannot further obtain exp after arriving the designed level,then in the last floor you might find a boss with 100 or even 150 level.Since the risk is rather high the rewards are likely to be divine.
We dined like that with the three of us merrily eating our dishes and with Theresa eating her lettuce until she started to talk again.
"Deva,are you already going in our lands?" Theresa asked.
"That's right,I'm really curious about your method regarding the World tree and obviously also want to visit the landscape and scenery of your land,they say that even in your forests there's a different feeling and atmosphere compared to the land of the other races for the exception of the fairies of course."

"Oh...ok" Since Theresa didn't have any topic to talk about and wasn't too familiar with the three,she just quietly wacthed Deva and the two interact with each other.
Theresa watched the three merrily eating their dishes and happily talk topics related to daily life or just gossip with each other.

After we seperated with the princess we went to rent a room in an inn.

minutes passed but nothing changed...

After two hours passed,the pain increased and became unbearable even for me,it was difficult and straining to even talk so we only held each other's hand.
