Rose's pov:

The day came like any other day, a friday to remember definitely. School for me went like a flash not that i liked school by the way just for the fact i was going to miss my only friend Mia.

She has been the only one who has been able to understand me aside Andy my brother cause i wouldn't say same for mom and dad especially dad. Don't get me wrong but most people think i am weird because i looked so little and behave differently although i had no problem with that but i think they do that is why they all called me little Rose in school and in my neighbourhood.

The little was added to my name by my dad because of how little i looked but i found the name annoying and that makes me not really like my dad not like i hate him either. Enough of the thoughts i had something fun to do and i don't want my mood getting ruined.

The last minute bell rang and i sat down back and waited for the rush hour to pass cause i didn't like being pushed or rubbed against my bunch of kids considering my small frame. "Booom!" Shouted Mia behind me.

Stepping out of my thoughts i turned rolling my eyes at her " i thought i told you to stop sneaking up on me like that besides, those things don't in a bit scare me" i gushed out knowing fully well she just got me. She must've noticed how uneasy i was amidst trying to be brave cause she just laughed so hard i had to join her.

" Got you anyways hahaha". She said still laughing or should i say crying or maybe both cause she was laughing so hard. Pushing her off my way i headed for the door. "You can tag along with me today only if you promise to behave well". I called after her as i walked out the door and onto the hallway.

" ohhhh yes yes yes yes yessss". She sang along as she followed me out of the school. I turned and glared at her and she immidiately gushed "sorry, i promise". Raising up one of her hands and i just smiled cause i knew i couldn't stay mad at her for a second.

We strolled down the rocky part that led inside the forest and i was immidiately calm for some reason actually that was how i felt everytime i strolled into it. Mia didn't look anyway impressed infact she had on one of that looks that said "well is this the place you so much adored cause i ain't feeling it". I just ignored her and continued to walk down until i found my spot and sat down taking in the calmness of my surrounding that i didn't notice Mia standing in front of me.

When i finally opened my eyes i gave a loud yelp and she started laughing again but this time i didn't find it funny i hate it when people scare me cause i don't believe in witches, magic and blah blah blah but Mia does. Did i mention we are polar opposites? Well we are and she just so happens to be annoying. I threw a pebble at her and she stopped laughing and threw one at me.

We kept this going for what seemed like hours has passed before she finally spoke up " Ro did you hear that?" I looked at her and laughed " Is that supposed to be one of your tricks cause my answer is no" I told her plainly.

She looked to her side and said to my surprise " I ain't kidding Ro i am damn serious this time".

Knowing fully well she was serious now but still didn't want to feed into her fears i grab her hand and said " Mia you are getting worked up and i think we should go besides i di____". I was interrupted this time by the voice.

"Roooossseee caan yyou hhearr meeee" . The voice called out softly and faintly.

Mia and i both gave out a loud shriek. " now do....you .... Uhm believe me". Mia stuttered as she was already getting scared as seconds ticked by. On my part i wasn't phrased instead i became determined to know and find out who was that and where it came from and why it had called my name so.

Mia's pov:

Looking over at Rose i could tell what she was thinking and i couldn't let that happen. " Ro don't think about it for all we know they could be evil lurking around you know witches and voodle stuffs i just think we should go Ro before something happens to either of us please" I said holding on tighter to Rose who i knew would be so stubborn i just had to add another plea seeing she wasn't ready to give in.

"Please Ro we can come back tomorrow to explore and we would have the whole day to do that it doesn't have to be today".

But she just simply shook her head and said " no we have to check it out cause now i am curious to know" . She paused and continued shortly " don't worry you can go back if you want to and i will meet you up later ok?" She asked knowing fully well i was going nowhere cause i can't just leave her here plus i dont know the way out so that left me with no choice but to stick close to Rose as we check out this pressumably death trap or so whatever ever as long as we stick together i am fine.

We went far too deep into the forest and i was getting really scared now.

" Ro don't you think we have gone too far already and we can't see anyone or hear anything". I said trying to figure out how far we have gone and if there is any hope of finding our way out of here.

" Relax Mia i sure do know my way around this forest" Rose said trying to calm my poor nerves down and i just hope she is right.

Not shortly after we have tried to find our way out after 10 good trials of no luck the trees began to shrink and the leaves turned yellow as well as the ground began to spin. I could feel myself slipping away from Rose and could hear her calling me before patches of blackness clouded my vision and i passed out.

Wellll this is getting interesting even for me

If that really got y'all thinking Rose wasn't entirely short she just had a petite body frame
