Lucifer walked through the labyrinth that was Hogwarts corridors, his pace a relaxed one as his luxurious black robes bellowed at a sudden right turn into the entrance of one of Hogwarts towers.

The tower was allocated to him by Salazar as his very own space to not only live in but to continue his studies independently, and he had over the past two years renovated the tower into a place he truly could call home.

It was segmented into three floors, all of them enchanted to be much more expansive on the inside than their natural size should be.

The first floor mostly served as a storage area/library, where one could find potion ingredients and valuable materials from both beast and metal alike. the second floor served as his living accommodations fully furnished with a bedroom and bathroom complete with a sauna, pool, and shower as Lucifer enjoyed the luxuries of a good soak.

The very peak of his very own Wizarding tower served as his workplace, fully equipped with anything he would need from a potion station that would make any potioneer green with envy to a ritual room enchanted for maximum efficiency and safeguards.

And the final room was the study, the place he spent most of his time not learning under Salazar. The room was surprisingly cozily decorated, with a grand fireplace being the centerpiece with a large desk facing the window, a large crimson chair being his favourite seat.

Lucifer walked up the three flights of stairs until he reached his study, swiftly walking over to his desk, but as he reached halfway towards his desk a large cluster array of runes manifested under his right foot, the ebony runes spreading out until it had shaped into a large magic circle, its design a large pentagram with a demonic lion at its center, the pentagram being made of thousands of demonic runes programming the circles effect all while being fueled by the icon in the center and contained by the circle surrounding the pentagram.

This was the fruits of his two-year-long delve into the arts of warding and enchanting and how wizards and witches made clusters of runes function by using a ward stone as a focus to bind and magical tools and animal blood to carve the runes themselves.

He had taken some inspiration from his old life regarding devils and magic circles, wishing for the same efficiency and simplicity instead of the arduous and often messy arrays that wizards were so proud of.

He had swiftly discovered the need for a power source for the arrays to work and had therefore come up with the idea of creating the demonic lion icon as a way to store and feed the array demonic power.

It had taken a year of countless failures until he had finally achieved success and creating his very own brand of magic that could potentially include and trump all others.

He had spent the last year apart from learning history and other subjects from Salazar by crafting more and more Demonic Circles, all taking inspiration from classical wards and enchants but being converted into his format and using Demonic Runes made the effects even more pronounced as a single circle could contain millions of runes detailing anything needed to achieve the desired effect.

And the method of applying these Demonic Circles apart from using his wand was the precious artifact laying atop his head.

Tabula Rasa had proved to be truly invaluable as it served not only as a grimoire for his circles but also gave him the ability to swiftly manifest an array on anything he touches, as he just demonstrated by manifesting a summoning circle to bring Shiro over by using his right foot as a conduit.

Salazar had been absolutely livid when he discovered Lucifer had created such a magnificent and extravagant way of casting magic, and after thoroughly lecturing him on the hundreds of ways he could have not only killed himself but everything around him as well, he had glowed with pride and giddiness as he almost demanded to be taught Lucifer´s invention.

It took the proud man 8 months before he finally admitted that he simply couldn't understand any of the runes used, much less use them. The lord of serpents turned even more sullen when he explained that absolutely nothing he did from using gaelic runes to norse ones had worked either, and managing to create an icon was simply impossible.

Lucifer assumed this must have something to do with his unique demonic power as it seemingly naturally formed his icon, but the news of Salazar not being able to replicate his brand of magic pleased him immensely.

Because if Salazar Slytherin one of the most talented wizards to live couldn't figure it out then no one could, meaning he had a personal brand of using magic that exclusively worked for him!

Lucifer´s soft smile turned into a grimace as he recalled a certain raven-haired witch who constantly hounded him since their first meeting.

Rowena Ravenclaw truly lived up to her house ideals with her incessant barrage of questions, she seemed almost obsessed to figure out what made him tick!

Her "research" varied from asking an endless barrage of questions regarding his physique, magic, and how they correlated together. Which may seem innocent enough until she started inquiring if his pubes matched his hair, how he masturbated with such sharp fingernails, if he could talk to plants, and inquiring about the whereabouts of the tribe of elves he "came from"

Lucifer´s chair creaked as he grabbed hold of the chair in remembrance of Rowena´s strategy when he either refused to answer or entirely avoided her like the plague. She stalked him, and no matter what he did she would always come back after a swift visit to Helga´s office for healing.

And he couldn't fucking hide from her since she knew the castle inside out and had access to the wards to find his current location as she pleased!

She was inevitable, unavoidable and merciless in her pursuit of knowledge.
