Chapter 16: Reconnecting

Cristina was cooking with the chief when Mason Turner, the Funeral Director and head of my mother's Gerberas Syndicate, arrived at the house. He brought his two bodyguards. He was stopped by Hunter, head of the Black Suits.

He then Said, "I am sorry Mr. Turner but you are not allowed with guns. You were friends with Earl."

"Nonsense! He is a friend to my father," replied Jasmine as she came up behind Hunter.

Mason then said, "You look beautiful lady Jasmine. And I will always sir your parents. Where is your mother I need to congratulated her?"

Jasmine led him into the kitchen and Cristina screamed after seen Mason.

"Sister! You look nice," replied Mason as he held Cristina.

A confused Hunter then said, "I am sorry sister?"

"Yes! My mother sold her in prostitution and me to the South African army. I was bought by Earl as a gift for Anita. And then I met her as the girlfriend of Nicholas. And soon to be his wife," replied Mason.

Hunter then said, "Forgive me I wasn't aware of this. You are free to be here."

Mason then nodded and Hunter left.

Cristina smiled and said, "It's good to see you."

"And I hear you are planning to move Colombia," replied Mason and Cristina swallowed.

Jasmine then asked, "What? Mom I like Jamaica."

"Yes! But your father doesn't feel at home here. So we are going to Seaside Castle," I quickly replied to him.

Jasmine then said, "Mom! You guys could come here. Tom and I will be in Kingston. But Colombia is too far away."

"Yes it is," I replied as I walked in.

Everyone was quiet and I said, "We are not moving at least not to Colombia. But this place needs a new Queen. And here you can spread your wings Cristina as lady of the house. Now this is your choice."

"Praise the lord the lord we are staying JA," replied Garrett as he dropped his bags

I looked at him and said, "You were onboard."

"No! I was trying not to get shot. You tend to murder those that tell the truth," replied Garrett as everyone chuckled.

Then Cristina saw the TV and turned it up. They were showing a picture of Fabio.

The reporter then said, "In other news Fabio McPherson is dead. The 79 year old billionaire is the older brother of the late Anita McPherson. He was wanted by Interpol in connection with the Earl Anderson's massive drug empire.

His body was found in the Montego Bay Harbor floating an hour ago. His arms and feet were restrained. He was then shot in the head. His killing is tied to the deaths of nine other drug dealers. These nine men are believed to be lieutenants in the Jamaican Crime Syndicate.

Now these recent killings are either tying up lose or a new player..."

I then turned off the TV and said, "We need to prepare for dinner. Aunt Jacqueline is coming."

I then walked away to go change.

Jasmine then said, "He is behind this isn't he?"

Cristina, Garret and Mason all said, "Without a doubt."

Then Garret and Cristina set the table.

As they did Cristina asked, "Where did he get the man power? Colombia didn't send anybody."

"This is Nicholas we are talking about. He blinks and his enemies die on the next side of the world. He has an army outside of us alright," replied Garrett.

Mason then said, "Ok. But we need to know who?"

"Why," asked Jasmine as she put down the cake

"If he had a secret army he doesn't you. And the people he doesn't trust the lucky ones end up dead. Now we know who we what we are dealing with," replied Mason.

I then said, "I trust you."

Mason quickly pulled his gun and after seen it was me he said, "Don't sneak upon me."

"I didn't. I was here all along," I told him as I came in.

Cristina then asked, "Who is doing this?"

"The Caracas Assassins. They are here," I quickly told her.

"Calvin! You called Calvin! He is a nutcase," Cristina quickly told me.

"But he is reliable. And the feds are watching Philip and Marco like a hawk since my dad's warehouse burnt down," I quickly told her.

Cristina then said, "The Feds are involved."

"Yep! My dad struck a deal with them and now they are giving him protection. My source in the National Security says they have him in a safe house. But we do this my way," I quickly told them as I left.

An agent brought Earl up to the interrogation room. FBI Agent Suarez was seated there with Joseph Matron.

Earl then said, "Let me guessed my lieutenants are all dead."

Suarez put down a file. It had crime scene photos of the dead bodies.

Suarez then said, "Your men were executed. And Fabio was dumped on the section of the Montego Bay Harbor that formally belonged to you."

"This is a message. Nicholas is saying that he is the king now," replied Earl to them.

Suarez then said, "We have had eyes on Philip. He is squeaky clean. He doesn't even hang out with dealers. So I don't see him been Nicholas's muscle."

Earl chuckled and said, "Nicholas is smarter than you think. If he killed Fabio that means he threatened Dominic. And the Dominic I know will send people. And the kind of people will case a war."

Joseph and Suarez leaned back. Franco then walked out of the Donald Sangster International Airport. He dialed the phone and called Dominic.

Dominic answered saying, "You have 14 days to make it happen. Go any extend to get Earl out. Once he is free we take care of Nicholas."

Dominic hangs up and got a transfer of $500 Million. Joseph, Sheila Summers and Agent Suarez met in the control room.

"I say we grab Nicholas," said Sheila as they sat there.

Suarez chuckled and then said, "Nicholas is untouchable."

"Says who," asked Sheila.

"Nicholas did a lot of bad stuff back in the day. The think is that it was unsanctioned by MI-5. Now Nicholas's team was all slaughtered in Budapest. MI-5 let him to die and he survived. Now Nicholas can prove that the division existed.

Now he traded the information for immunity. If so much as an Intelligence satellite goes over his property he sues the English Intelligence community and he has powerful people on his corner. So your career would end," replied Joseph to him.

Suarez then said, "Nick is the least of our worries. We need to find out that Dominic and Bratva are sending."

"There is only one guy he would send. And he has history with Nicholas," replied Joseph to them.

"Who is that," asked Suarez.

"Franco De Marco. He is an elite Assassin for hire. 13 years ago he took a shot at Anita and Nicholas supposedly burnt down his safe house. He found himself working for the South African Mercenaries and got protection," replied Joseph.

Suarez then said, "If his reputation precedes him. We are going to have trouble."

"Ok. So I have an idea. Let Nicholas guard Earl," replied Joseph.

Sheila chuckled and said, "Are you crazy? Nicholas would kill him the first chance he gets."

"Yes! But he is also the best person to guard him," replied Suarez to Sheila.

Sheila then said, "I can't believe you are considering this."

"Look I have a 25% stake in Anderson Security Group. It is my cut for representing Nicholas Anderson and Chestnut. Now I can push buttons to get him here. Then you hire a private contractor to back him up.

My suggestion is Newell Saga. He is an experience bodyguard and he has worked with Nicholas. Without the two of the Senator Charles would never have made it out of the middle east 27 years ago," replied Joseph.

Suarez then said, "Make it happen. Now go."

Joseph then went. Jacqueline then came in a purple dress and I greeted her.

She held me and said, "Welcome home my nephew."

"It is my pleasure to be home. Now how about dinner," I asked as we went to the dining room.

As we ate Jacqueline told them a funny childhood store of me and Nichoi. Everyone laughed.

I then said, "Ok. I was a crazy twin brother."

"Yea! And I love you for it," replied Cristina to me

As she reached to kiss me my phone rang from a private number.

"I am going to take away that phone," Cristina replied as I left.

I answered saying, "hello Nicholas Anderson."

"Hello Nick! Guess whose back," asked Franco as he cleaned his sniper.

I exhaled and said, "So you are here to hold Earl?"

"Yep! And I am also here to repay you for Paris," he replied to me.

"De Marco I will double whatever Earl's associate is paying you. All you have to do is walk away and forget this, "I quickly told him

Franco then said, "Nicholas! I am the part of the past you fear. And I will end you. Oh! Dominic sent his regards."

He then hangs up and I called Dominic's wife.

She answered saying, "Hello Good night. I am..."

"Put your deadbeat husband on the phone," I quickly told her.

She then stretches the phone across the dining room table and said, "It's for you."

He took it and said, "You fired a warning shot and now you get a war."

"First I will kill Franco and then put Earl in prison to rot. Then I am on the first flight to Norway to kill you. So dig graves for you and your whoring wife," I quickly told him.

"When you set out on the path of revenge dig two graves," he told me and hangs up the phone.

Then I went back to the dining room and after seeing my face Cristina asked, "What is it?"

"The Russian Mafia has declared war for Fabio's death. In fact Franco De Marco is here to liberate Earl and target us," I quickly told him.

After a while Jasmine went to call Tom and Jacqueline went to call her family.
