Mary although frightened took a step forward with an expression of anger.One could easily tell from how ugly she looked."I don't care if you think you're a hot shot,you can't just declare he's your son bitch"

Mary soon found herself smashed onto the wooden floor.James immediately dashed towards Miss Jade in an attempt to fight her.James could be said to be powerful since he was already in the 3rd stage of the ascended rank whiles Mary was in 2nd stage of the prime rank.

Mary was very weak but it was all her idea for this.From birth she was never really the type to fight or waste her time channelling her ability,she wanted a normal carefree life.Thats why as an awakened in her late twenties she was very weak.

James was however met with the same outcome as his wife."Perhaps I didn't make it clear".Miss Jade said pulling Arthur to her side.

"You abandoned him and never took him as your family so he did the same to you guys.Don't make me bully the weak".Arella seeing this was enraged but she wasn't stupid,she knew where her strength was.

"He's my son now and I'm going to raise him,I once again thank you guys for giving me such a wonderful son".Even Arthur had a look of surprise of his face,he looked at Miss Jade and smiled.

"Just you wait... I'll make you pay for what you've done to our parents".Arella said with her head facing the wooden floor trembling with rage and fear.Miss Jade and Arthur ignored them and kept on walking towards the dojo's direction.

"Father...mother I'm going to get even stronger and avenge you guys".Arella clenched her fist tightly making blood trickle down her small decent sized fist,for a female that is.

"Oh my beautiful Jade glad you could make it"Lucas voiced out with open arms."Now I know what Miss Jade said,this guy is clingy".Miss Jads raised her hand to stop his approach"let's just get this over with"Miss Jade voiced out walking past him.

Lucas saw Arthur also follow behind her and couldn't help but inspect him."How strange,his physique is topnotch and he's already in the 3rd stage of the origin rank,about to even make a breakthrough.Not just that but why is his core so pure".

Lucas was immediately having second thoughts about whether Arthur was the so called trash they said he was or was he actually a true genius."Unfortunately for them Anna had already reached the prime rank, although the power gap between the origin rank and prime rank isn't that huge".

When they finally reached the main fighting platform Arthur was in awe at how large and spacious the room was."Welcome to the night wave dojo".Lucas voiced out.

Seated at one side of the room were his students who looked to be around the same age as he was.They soon started whispering away when they saw Miss Jade and Arthur enter.

"Arthur.. don't tell me he's the one I will be fighting".As others were busily making up rumours about the individual that had entered,a certain girl who's hair seemed to brighten up the room with it's silver colour was inwardly concerned.

Arthur's eyes darted around the room scrutinizing his peers until it eventually landed on a certain someone"Oh".After introducing the challenges to his students he called on to Anna to approach him.

"Since both competitors are ready why don't we begin straight away".Lucas said placing his hand on Anna's shoulder."Fine with me".Miss Jade responded.

"I didn't think I'd be seeing you again"Anna voiced out with a shyful expression unable to fully stare at Arthur."Mhm neither did I."Arthur stood opposite to her figure.Anna's expression soon turned into a serious one.

"She's affirmative....I like that".Arthur however simple stood there with his usual nonchalant look not even bothering to take a stance."Alright the rules are simple.No killing but since it's a battle between two awakeneds there's bound to be injuries".

Lucas who felt like he could referee the match stood in the middle with a calm look."No weapons allowed and the only way you can win is either your opponent submits to defeat or goes unconscious".He voiced out.

"Yeah,go get him Anna!!"

"You're out star,we love you Anna!!"

"He's just in the origin rank,what can he do!!"

"Yeah...you're already in the prime rank!"

Arthur heard all these comments on how supportive they were being towards their comrade and did what any normal person with brains in his situation would do..ignore them.

Anna's demeanor was slowly changing.Her silver hair was slightly raised up floating in the air.Her blue coloured eyes had paled out,her face had slightly stiffened up.

"Now that's quite the surprise,who would have thought her ability would be....."

Her figure blurred from where she stood throwing a kick towards Arthur.Arthur raised his hand to block the kick,however the power behind the kick was able to send him sliding across the floor.

"Adrenaline".

Miss Jade looked at the fight and was pleased at the outcome."What's she smiling about"Lucas who was seated beside Miss Jade said internally after noticing how the corners of her lips had curved up.

"This girl is quite capable...he will finally be able to give him the challenge he deserves".

"No way...he was able to block her deadly kick"

"And with just one hand".

"Come on he wouldn't hit a girl would he?".

"I'm quite surprised there's actually an ability like adrenaline out there...this means you have the power to match me".

Arthur said pulling up his sleeves and revealing his firmly sculpted forearms."Defeat huh,you might want to re-evaluate her strength".

The reason Arthur was brimming with excitement was because of the ability Anna has.From his experience with Adrenaline Arthur knew all too well about how powerful adrenaline was.And he knew it could enhance one's ability to the max.

Arthur figure disappeared, appearing Infront of Anna with his body slightly bent down and his fist ready to smash her guts.To others Arthur's speed made him disappear but to Miss Jade and Lucas,he was like a mere wolf chasing after its prey.

"So fast...I knew he wouldn't be easy to match"she brought her palm towards her gut to block his attack.

BOOM!!

However the punch had exceeded her expectations.Her body was sent flying towards the ceiling,slamming into it and being sent back down.

"I figured...she's turned him into a freak,guess he's not garbage after all.I might lose that rank 5 weapon"Lucas inwardly said.

"Argh...does his ability enhance his strength and speed,but I saw him controlling blood last time".

"Then...".

Anna slowly lifted her body up.Her hair which had been dancing about in the air finally spiked up.Her yellowish aura enveloping her whole body.

"10%"She voided out with a low tone

"Oh she's quite capable".Miss Jade voiced out.

Arthur's nonchalant expression finally changed to that of a smile."Come Anna....don't hold back".
