1 Trip

Lauren opened her eyes slowly as she fixed them on the blue crystal orb which hovered right above her face.

The dim morning light fairly illuminated her huge room as the were no other source of light apart from the dull blue glowing orb.

Lauren fixed her eyes on a huge framed photo hanging on the room wall.

It was of her and her family the day before everything changed.

"What a world we're in now," Lauren stared at her glowing white arm with a frown, "What a world."

10 YEARS AGO...

September 29,

"Lauren pack your bags we're gonna miss the bus." A blue haired woman wearing a crimson red jacket shouts.

Teenage Lauren walked out of her room with a huge white travelling bag held in her hands.

Teen Lauren had jet black hair and deep blue eyes with cherry red lips making her a sight to behold.

"Sis drop the bag." A black haired boy who was apparently Lauren's brother walked up to her with a smile, "I'll handle it."

Sigh.

"It's heavier than it looks Xerno." Lauren warned with a mocking tone.

"I said I'll handle it alright." Xerno stubbornly picked up the bag filled with all Lauren's clothing.

"Haha." Lauren laughed lightly as she watched her brother carry her bag for her.

"What in God's name is in here?!" Xerno almost screamed but kept his cool.

"..."

Lauren fixed her eyes on a camera on the top of a wooden desk in the center of the sitting room.

"We should take a family photo sometimes right?" Lauren asked with an ear to ear grin on her face.

"...Yeah." Lauren's brother signed as he felt defeated after not believe able to carry the heavy bag too.

"We should do this together." Lauren took one end of the bag leaving the other to her brother.

They quickly carried the bag to the bus at the front of their house.

"Hurry up kids!" Lauren's father announced as he got in the bus.

Lauren dropped the bag into the bus's booth as she smiled happily.

"Get in Lauren." Xerno called out from inside the bus.

Lauren got into the bus with her eyes fixed on the banner put on the bus side.

The banner had the design of two frozen wolves and a sword in between them which was unmistakably the Empire Of Light's Crest.

"What does that mean?" Lauren threw a question to her father referring to the crest on the banner.

"It is the crest worn by light wolves when they are going for a hunt in the Empire Of Light."

Lauren nods slowly taking this piece of information into her head.

"Do you believe in werewolves Lauren?" The quest almost knocked Lauren off balance as she lowered her head.

"No."

Her father shook his head solemnly as he had a look of disappointment on his face.

"Welcome to the black woods!" The driver exclaimed with a smile as he spread out his arms.

Some other people who joined in on the trip smiled broadly taking in the entire forest into registration in their minds.

"There are rules here which you must abide by if you must have a peaceful stay here." The driver announced with a smile whilst holding a little book and pointing directly to it, "This must be with everyone here, In it are the rules you must follow."

Lauren immediately read through hers and was utterly shocked to see that the rules were all related to one creature...
