Completely Serious

Even though Travis had a very calm expression on his face, he was actually panicking inside. After all that happened, if Travis was to pinpoint one thing he understood about Lance, It would be that he was super strong. At least he was much stronger than him and he couldn't contest against him at all.

As for the reason why he was smiling so confidently, he was trying to bet on something. He was trying to bet on the fact that Lance would uphold his dignity and not attack him. He was also betting on the fact that Lance would hesitate before attacking him. With that, he would be able to think of another way to escape from the crisis.

But his plan seems to have flopped as it seems that Lance was risking everything including his dignity to attack him. If Travis was stronger than him, he would suffer a crushing defeat, losing his dignity along the line. However, if he was actually stronger than Travis, who knew what would happen to him?

However, even though he was worried, he didn't know what was going on in Lance's mind. Lance was terrified the moment he saw Travis' confident smile. At that moment, he knew he was doomed if that punch landed and Travis somehow survived. That would mean that Travis was at least on par with him. And if the punch hit but Travis did not even move, then that would mean that he would have thoroughly lost.

*Boom!*

Finally, Lance's punch landed; sending Travis flying. Travis continued to fly for something before hitting one of the buildings and completely stopping. That brought utter destruction as the building began to crumble down on Travis who had been thrown into the building earlier. After a while, the building suddenly stopped collapsing and everything became quiet.

Seeing that Travis had finally landed, the crowd looked at the building that he crashed into as anticipation filled their eyes. They wanted to see if Travis would survive the attack. Everyone had a strong look of expectation on their faces, even Brayn was the same as he looked far into the distance.

Suddenly, a figure could be seen walking out of the building. His clothes were completely tattered and he seemed like a walking dead. What was once a t-shirt was now a ruffled mess of loose fibres, dirt stains and holes, it barely manages to hang from his shoulders like a discarded old towel.

There's a huge tear on the left side, which leaves much of him exposed to the falling debris. As for the person wearing the clothes he simply looked like a madman who hadn't been fed for days.

However, when the crowd saw him, their eyes began to shine with a strange light as they looked at the person. As for who this person was, he was none other than Travis who had been punched into the wall earlier.

Back at the stadium….

The stadium was again oddly quiet as they looked at Travis who was currently walking out of the building like a walking dead. Surprise and astonishment filled their faces.

"Di, di, did, he really survive Lance's attack?" a voice suddenly sounded again. The crowd had heard this voice before. It belongs to the same person who broke the odd silence the first time with a question. It was from James.

"OMG! He did it again!"

"That kid is simply too remarkable!"

"I actually underestimated someone like him? He is simply a monster."

"Who said he is a normal person? He is a person with a superpower! A very strong one!"

"Yes, and judging from his ability to take on the fight without any harm, it is more likely that his cultivation surpasses even Lance who was known to be super strong"

The crowd burst into an uproar. Even though Travis merely survived Lance's punch, they couldn't help but praise him for his strength.

They couldn't help it. Travis had managed to give them two main surprises. He was able to punch and even move Lance away with a punch. He was also able to survive Lance's attack. All this was simply too astonishing as they had never imagined all this. And as the crowd came in only to enjoy the game, Travis just gave them that so how could they not be happy?

Moreover, they completely agreed with the others and believed that Travis was really strong all just had a very strong superpower which makes him really strong.

That was because in the world they were in if you had a lower level than your opponent, there was no way you could win against him. Even his simplest and weakest punches will be able to annihilate his weaker opponent.

But what did Travis do? Not only did he survive Lance's punch, apart from his clothes, but his real body also wasn't really damaged. This showed two main things.

The first one would be that Travis had a super strong body. At least his body was on par with Lance's body. As for the second, it showed that Travis was possibly as strong as Lance or even stronger.

Back at Death Ravine…

Travis continued to walk out of the smoke with his tattered shirt which was full of holes that appeared to be made by the falling debris.

Seeing Travis walk out of the smoke alive, Lance began to grit his teeth in anger. However, even though he was acting like he was only angry, he was actually panicking inside.

That was because, just like the people outside, he also thought the same thing. And that was if Travis was able to survive his attack, it meant it showed that Travis was possibly as strong as him or even stronger.

So how could he not panic? After all, he realised that he had courted a major disaster. Why did he think so? Well, that was because only he knew how much power he used in the previous confrontation. He had almost used all of his power in the simple confrontation. He actually used seventy per cent of his power trying to probe Travis' strength.

At this moment, Lance decided to make the ultimate decision. He planned to attack again. The main reason why he decided to attack again was that after he attacked Travis, he noticed that Travis had become sluggish when walking. This only meant one thing to him. And that was that Travis had been injured in their previous exchange. Also, he noticed that Travis didn't actually hurt him when he attacked. That is, even though Travis's attack earlier was able to move him, It was unable to hurt him.

With that in mind, Lance began to attack. He started to gather power for his attack. The sky became clouded as a huge fog enveloped the area. Then all of a sudden, they all started moving towards Lance.

In the end, they converged at Lance's hands turning into a huge fist that surrounded his hands. Lance immediately attacked with full speed.

*Boom!*

Lance took off again this time with much power. He was planning to attack a little bit seriously now. His seriousness could be felt from the aura that the fist was radiating. It was very intense and dangerous. Even those from the older generation felt danger from it not to mention the younger generation.

However, before he could attack, someone suddenly appeared in front of Travis blocking him from Lance and making him redraw his punch in panic. Lance then turned to look at the person who had blocked his path.

He had blonde, frizzy hair which clumsily hung over his skinny, gloomy face. Lidded blue eyes, set deep within their sockets, Staring sightlessly into the space in front of him. However, what was most amazing about the person who appeared to defend Travis was the kind of cloth that he was wearing.

He was wearing a smooth shirt and left it unbuttoned at the top for a more casual look. On top of the shirt he's wearing a chic vest with 5 buttons, it has a very narrow v-line, which allows for a large portion of the top to remain visible, even if the suit's jacket is buttoned up.

The jacket is longer at the back, it has vents on either side, there's a single pocket on one side and there's a breast pocket which contains a pocket watch. From his dressing alone, one could see that he was a person from one of the high echelons in Frozen Lake City.

However, when he appeared, everyone including Lance had a look of surprise on their face. That was because the person who appeared wasn't someone they ever expected. However, Travis was looking at the person with his bright eyes which were fluctuating with emotions. Complicated emotions could be seen in Travis' surprised eyes as he looked at the person who jumped to save him.

As for the person who appeared, it was none other than Duane Gregory, the son of Gregory's family head!
