The Revelation

The day had reached its dark side when Kumara and Chandra turned up at Baron's chateau. The sparks of torches had lit up some houses and they appeared to be similar to some fireflies from the distance.

Kumara strolled into the chateau with the help of The Tracer, his exhausted and angry countenance appeared minor on his face.

The Mustache's eyes were catching to Kumara who couldn't walk as he normally did. His eyes fulfilled with some questions as he and the others of The Defenders were waiting for both of them inside the lounge.

Chandra and Kumara took seats; they seemed keeping some voids to speak between them.

"What happened?" The Mustache looked quite worried and examined some bruises on Chandra's legs and back as the battle marked those. He captured Chandra trying to lean her back on the seat as she seemed so hard to struggle for aching.

'I feel my bones are going to break because of Kumara's tail that wrapped me so hard!' She cringed. She let The Mustache zip out her back dress to examine her back bruises.

"It's okay!" Chandra replied and smirked. "It's just a tail of a big snake!"

The Mustache stopped examining her bruises and stared at her with a surprised expression. "A tail of a big snake? I think both of you just attended lunchtime with Princess Soles Tiana and Tania!"

Chandra breathed deeply. "After that, we went to the woods!"

The Mustache got up from his kneeling position and asked for The Collector to bring him some herbal medicine. He turned his eyes to Kumara.

"What did happen to you, Prince Kumara?"

Kumara smirked and sniffed. "Nothing!" He took a deep breath and stretched out his two legs.

"Nothing happened but you couldn't walk normally?" The Mustache asked him with his skeptical expression. "Are you involved in a battle with King Dragon's men?"

Kumara lifted his head. "Just a tigress who wanted to attack because of her uncontrollable emotion!" He replied and sneered.

The Mustache looked at Chandra and Kumara in swop over the way. "One of you was attacked by a big snake and the other was attacked by a tigress. What is it all about?" The Mustache rubbed his forehead and put one of his hands at his waist.

"Just forget it!" Kumara leaned his chin with his fingers and turned his head somewhere. He still kept his bit of anger.

"Not a big deal!" Chandra intruded. She folded her two arms and sniffed harshly. Her breath sounded to reveal her emotional state.

The Mustache cleared his throat. "Were you fighting?"

Chandra felt so hard to open her mouth and gave a voice as she glanced at Kumara. "No!"

The Mustache inhaled deeply, and his face changed more relieved. "So, we could continue the investigation!"

Kumara leaned his body forward as The Tracer put some herbal medicine on his two legs.

"Did something bite you, Prince Kumara?" The Tracer examined some blood stains on Kumara's leg's skin. "Hopefully it didn't make some muscular disfunctions of your legs!" He added and smeared some herbal medicine on Kumara's legs.

"What should I do if someone that we trust with all of our hearts, and he's still keeping being together with any women from our enemy?" Chandra argued as she saw Kumara was trying to be defensive by saying no words. "How about if one of his women knows the secret of our kingdom?" She again attacked Kumara, and he seemed to find a way to tell his statement in a more diplomatic touch.

"If you mean Madam Marguerite will do that, I should say that we haven't anything to share anymore. Tell me, what kind of fortune will I do that for a queen? She knew that I never got married to her. How should I prove to you that we have no interest anymore to be shared?" Kumara stared at her. "Her people will ruin my reputation if I play their queen's love for me!"

The Mustache inhaled deeply at the time the other members of The Defenders were staying calm and listening to what had happened between their princess and prince of the wars that they admired.

"Listen, the point is I never had the intention to make you a member of my hareem women as you said. I respect you, Princess Chandra, since you are a princess of the Bhagavanta Kingdom and a descendant of The Holy Dragon. Yes, I am having a lot of women for being together temporarily and taking responsibility for them!" Kumara defended. "I am a prince, and I should study any women's personalities and each their intention who coming to me and getting along with me. Am I wrong?"

Chandra decided not to respond as she zipped in her back dress after The Mustache gave her bruises some medicine. 'What made me mad actually? Did what Madam Marguerite say about my bad relationship with King Dragon?' She was nervous about being exposed to her previous relationship with King Dragon. The statement of Madam Marguerite was still reverberating in her ears.

"No one should be blamed!" The Mustache gave his statement finally. He stared at Princess Chandra as he got more suspicious that the princess had changed to become a half-celestial creature. 'Has she seen The Holy Dragon spirit?' He thought deeply. 'If she has, she could be either a half-celestial creature or the chosen one to become the kingdom's successor!'

"I was unstable!" Chandra whispered and sighed. "Did you get any information about that mysterious woman and her relationship with Yovanka?"

The Mustache inhaled deeply and nodded. "Yes. Her name is Marianne. She is one of Yovanka's loyal customers in her fashion trade circle." The Mustache paused. "She is one of King Dragon's mistresses!"

Chandra felt lightning stroke her as The Mustache explained to her about Marianne or the mysterious woman. "One of King Dragon's mistresses? Why?"

The Mustache approached Kumara and gave some taps on his shoulder. "Jealousy could be her motive!"

Chandra stared at The Mustache with a tangled expression. "Direct me. I don't have any business with King Dragon. Not anymore." She stared at each person in the room. "It should be ended." She turned her body and rubbed her forehead as she couldn't understand what was going on.

"Perhaps King Dragon doesn't think the same as you do, Princess Chandra!" The Mustache made it clear.

"Impossible. He has helped my step-uncle to keep his throne. He has many women whom he desires. I am out of his silly romantic games!" Chandra panted as she started to become jumbled in understanding the thought about King Dragon.

"His reason is more than only romantic one, Princess Chandra. He knows that you're going to be a successor of the Bhagavanta Kingdom. If he could marry you or have you as a mistress, it means that he will have power over some kingdoms that have been the alliances of the Bhagavanta Kingdom!" Another explanation of The Mustache was enough to make Chandra feel overwhelmingly chaotic.

"It means that we should be careful of any assassins to you!" The Mustache added and glanced at Kumara. "We should protect the successor of the kingdom!"

The Mustache moved around the room. "The worst is we still don't have any clear ideas who is Yovanka instead of her exposed identity as a fashion and perfume designer! I am sure she's working for or with somebody else!" He stopped and sighed. "Beautiful eyes could be evil as an angel of death. The Messenger." He repeated the message from the mysterious letter. "We know Yovanka and Marianne are having beautiful eyes. But which one is the actual angel of death? Or both of them? Or any other woman that we haven't known yet?"

"I think Yovanka is a messenger!" Kumara, after staying in his silence, gave his opinion.

"Remember the smell of lily and she translated the symbol of lily to Marianne. Was it, Tracer?"

The Tracer nodded. "Lily symbolizes the fatal deadly attractiveness that it was lethal to bring the woman who sprayed the perfume to her death!" He tried to connect the pattern of the puzzle to its metaphoric message. "We understand white lilies symbolize two polarized meanings. It can symbolize creation and fertility, but it also symbolizes grief."

"Does it deal with King Dragon's successor in the future?" Chandra lifted her chin while one of her hands leaned on it. "Humm."

"Or who will be the potential woman that delivers the birth of King Dragon's successor?" The Mustache added. "She will be the target of the assassin!"

Chandra wiped her nose and smirked.

The Tracer cleared his throat as he started to elucidate the puzzle. "We agree that Yovanka is a messenger. The letter smelled the perfume that she designed also. Then, we should find out who will be the executor of the assassin. I have faith that it won't be the hands of Marianne, but she could be a woman who has beautiful eyes!"

Kumara rose from his seat and took a water drink from the table near him. He took some sips and looked to absorb his thought. "I think we should investigate who are the women. I mean King Dragon's mistresses as I thought that Marianne who is the ambitious one to get a position as a legal wife of King Dragon, as a queen of the Emerald Drake Kingdom. But who is among those mistresses that are pregnant? She could carry the child of King Dragon or…I don't know. But the pregnant mistress will get a bigger chance to marry King Dragon! And she'll be legalized as a wife of King Dragon." Kumara assumed.
