Alpha Blake's Love

Do you believe in the supernatural? My mom used to tell me stories about werewolves and witches. She would tell me a story about a Nigerian warlock that fell in love with a human. She said the first time he laid eyes on her, he was instantly head over heels in love with her. The problem was that it was forbidden for any supernatural being to be with a human. Humans are a threat to the supernatural world. That is why humans don't know of their existence. If they find out they are supposed to be put to death. I asked my mom if they lived happily ever after and she told me no. His mother found out and made him choose. He either leaves her or she dies. The next morning she went looking for him and he was gone. What he didn't know was that she was pregnant with his child. When I got older I asked my mom if she really believes in the supernatural world. She told me yes and that I should believe it too. She said all supernatural beings have a mate, which is the person that they are meant to be with for all their lives. When I asked her how she knew all this she would tell me that she knew a warlock a long time ago. That they were good friends until he had to leave. I asked her if he knew my father. She told me that they knew each other really well. I could see tears appear in her eyes and knew that she was sad. I decided at that moment never to bring up my father again. After she would tell me those stories, I would fall asleep, hoping that one day I would find a mate to love me. I would draw pictures of what he would look like. For some reason, I always picture a black wolf with big brown eyes. I would also see a tall guy, with caramel color skin, and short black hair, with the exact same eyes as the wolf. For some reason, I knew the wolf and human were one. That he was a werewolf. For the first twelve years of my life, my mom would tell me those stories. Was always positive and that made me happy. Even though we didn't have much and it was just the two of us, we were both happy. Men would always come up to my mom. Trying to date her. She was beautiful. She was 5 ft 5 and had light brown skin and long braids that went down her back. She never gave any of them the time of day. That is until he came along. I was thirteen when my mom met Timothy. Timothy Black, the moment I saw him I knew he was trouble. At first, he was nice and caring. He made my mom think that he wanted us to be a family and she fell for it. I never believed him though. I have always been able to tell if a person is lying. I also can tell if someone is a bad person. I don’t know how. It’s like I can sense evil and Timothy is definitely evil. I tried to tell my mom, but she just told me I was being ridiculous. She said she really loved him and that if I loved her then I would give him a chance. So I decided to do just that. Give him a chance. How I wish I would have followed my gut.
