1 My first steps in the new world.

Tiny announcement, if you're from my other book then welcome and this story will be different from that one but my boi micheal will be in the same world....just in another location.

*to the beginnings of the rocky boi*

I feel grounded....like there's life around me, but I don't feel anything frantic. I'm definitely not in a hospital bed as I don't feel anything on me, I just feel myself laying here. I feel my body but at the same time I don't. I don't feel any hunger, I don't feel myself breathing at all.

All I feel is something on me trying to grab and move me. I attempt to open my eyes but I can't, I lift my arm and the grabbing and moving stops. I don't know what's going on so I grab the ground and attempt to push myself up. I can't pull myself up but I can move my body.

This is weird. I can move but I can't get up? Could there be something on my torso? I use my arm and move it above my head and my suspicions are confirmed when I hit a hard object. I push it off me and then I feel a little rumbling from nearby. I still can't see but I can sense the life around me by glowing green outlines of humanoids around me and the green outlines of the trees and the ground around me. What was on me was one of the humanoids. I don't know why he was on me but I definitely startled them.

I then go to stand up and the humanoids whom were around me looked at me. If I look closely then I can see details of faces on them and I see the mouth parts move but I can't hear anything. I put my hand on my face and I can feel that my face doesn't have anything on it. No mouth, no nose, no eyes, well that last one was obvious. And I presume that I have no ears since I can't hear.

Now something to know is that I learned quite a bit about the human body since my welding instructor in college did a lot of connections between vehicles and it as, in his younger years, he specialized in human anatomy but did welding as a hobby and decided to teach it since that was what he enjoyed more out of the two and got tired of looking at human bodies in detail all the time.

So I remembered what he taught us in the details of ears and if magic is a thing then I can utilize it. So I use my imagination as a basis and utilize my knowledge to see if I can morph my body in any way and it actually happened. I can feel my head changing on the sides where I visualized an ear being since in my imagination, I just put my head in there after feeling it with my hands and started making my ears and made it to where I can pull sound waves into them and just leave it as that.

If something went wrong or I need to add something then I can just do it from there. However, it's good to see what I got now. I just wait but I hear nothing. Yet I see that their mouths aren't moving so I stomp the ground. I then hear that they all got startled. YES! Mission one is complete.

Now to see if they utilize a language I can speak. Though it would be nice to have eyes, I don't want to try anything as I don't wish to scare them away even though I contradicted myself with that stomp.

I look around and try to listen for any speaking but I hear nothing. Let's see if I get anything by walking. I look towards the closest thing to me and walk to it. This gained quite a bit of reaction from everyone as now I'm hearing voices and I can understand them. Though....the language sounds old...like very old. To the point of "thou mustint move" and "hold thyself stroung". It's very annoying but I can't blame one for their language and dialect since I've traveled to many places with the armed forces.

I then look down at the person in front of me. From what I can see, they are female due to there being two bundles being at the chest area and not a single at the crotch area. I attempt to bring my hand down to the position of having her put her hand on mind so I can help her get up but all of a sudden my hand comes off.

I look to my right and see the man that I moved off of me standing there in the position of a warrior holding what I presume is a blade, a sharp one at that. I look at my hand and I feel no pain from it. I feel a little lighter on my arm and that's it. I am a little irritated so I do what I did with my ears but instead make a dual bladed sword out of the part of my arm that is handless.

I then point it to the man who is ready to cut me a new head. I hear him yell out then see him charge at me. From his form, he is holding a heavy sword so I need to be fast. I push forward and as he raises his arms up to slash me down. I drive my elbow into his stomach. I hit something very hard but I expected that since he seemed to be a knight and I offended him by attempting to touch his "princess". It's obvious that I affected him as he stumbles back and falls on his hind end.

I look at him then at my arm and put the blade away as it forms into my arm again. I then look and feel around for my hand as i can't see it due to it being disconnected from me and being part of the ground around me. I keep going until I'm tapped on my shoulder.

I look to where I'm tapped and see the girl that I was attempting to help up earlier. She has something in her hand and gives it to me, saying "here's your arm". I grab it then it comes to my view that the thing in my hand is in fact my other hand. I feel it to the best of my ability then maneuver it to connect to my arm again. It clanks to my arm, I imagine it connecting together then, after a moment, it fuses together and I move it around for a moment before looking at the girl and giving a thumbs up.

She's taken aback then says, "your welcome, do you have a master?"

I look at her for a moment then shake my head. I can tell that she's happy as afterwards, she quickly says, "Can I be your master?!"

This surprises everyone as it's so out of the blue that even I'm surprised for a moment before shaking my head again. This saddens her but she quickly gives her farewell and leaves with everyone else following her and definitely confused at her actions.

What a child. Her intention span is the same as a 10 year olds. If she came in as a recruit, I'd straighten that head of hers before the end of the month. Speaking of which, what is the time of day right now? It must be daytime since the people I met didn't seem sleepy nor did their actions seem fatigued but let me see if I can see the sun.

I look up and I am shocked, a HUGE GLOWING MASS is what I see. I can't tell brightness but it is definitely the sun as it is a highly condensed ball of mana that basically looks down upon me.

I look back down and take a moment to calm down as that was an exhilarating experience. Imagine looking at the sun directly, however, instead of seeing the bright yellow light of the nuclear gas ball known as our sun, image seeing a dense green ball that is giving off tiny but numerous bright green lines that go for a good few inches off of it(from my perspective), then disappearing.

I never thought that I'd be so excited to see the sun. Which is weird due to my background, but so is everything around here so I'm definitely gonna be on a wild ride from now on.

I look around then head off in a random direction as I have no way of knowing what is where right now. I keep walking for a bit until I hear water. When I hear it, I immediately stop as to find out where it is. I pivot my head a little bit to where I hear it then head towards it.

After going through some trees, I reach the water as I can see the glowing blue vein like lines in it flowing from what I believe is down stream. I look around and hear some shuffling so I look at the direction of it and I move towards the sound. It seems as though something is hiding from me.

I don't give it much thought so I just walk to the water and crouch down at the edge. I then hear lurking behind me. I slowly stand up and turn around. I then see her, a woman with quite a bit of mana flowing through her. A definitely higher amount of it then the people before. I look towards her but it seems as though she believes I can't see as she is completely still.

She's treating me like a t-Rex as she just waits. Guess I don't need to start anything right now so I act dumb. I look around and crouch back down at the water. If she attacks then I'll retaliate but at this point there's no need to be rash.

I wait and let her get close, from what I can see, she is reaching out to the top of my head. Hmm? Is something on my head? Curiosity got the better of me as I put my hand on my head and feel that I grabbed something off my head and I hear her grumble under her breath, "damnit, now it has my panties, just great"

I look at her and present it to her as to show that I mean no harm. She quickly grabs it and backs off. Then I can see that she definitely found out that I basically toyed with her.

"So you knew I was here all along" she says irritatedly

I just give her the thumbs up and nod.

"So you can see me?" She asks

I nod again

"Like completely?" She says this then covers her breasts as she is probably naked right now.

I shake my head.

"Gmmmm so you can see but not in detail, it doesn't work like that, it's either you can see or not" she is angry now

I put my hand on my head and take a moment to think but she gets too impatient and walks into the bushes. I figure that she is getting dressed so I just wait next to the water. I look at the water again then put my hand in it. Letting the water flow through my fingers.

I walk in the water then lay in it, I don't need to breath so I can just hang out here while she gets dressed. After a moment of laying down I hear her walking towards the water. I guess she's done so I sit up, letting my torso go above the water and feeling the water come off of me.

This startles her and I just look at her then wave.
