7 Chapter 7: The Surprise

3rd Pov

Genesis: Oh, it seems that they were really tired?

Standing in the middle of a room, Genesis looked around to see team RWBY all knocked out on their beds. Looking towards the window Genesis was able to see the broken moon shining brightly in the night, it has amazed Genesis every time he sees this moon since he is so use to the moon back in his past life.

Genesis: But now I must use this time to plan....

Floating over to the installed desk, Genesis covered his hands in a thin layer of energy before grabbing a pencil and pieces of paper from the drawer in the desk. Genesis was wishing to take this time to try and get an actual training schedule going, it was a bit weird since he doesn't really need to train his body since he is well.... dead but this does give him the advantage to focus more on the spiritual aspect of him.

Genesis: Though that brings the question on whether or not should I just focus on water bending?

He knew the potential all water benders hold and he could see how this can make him a make threat to anyone who has water in their body not to mention being able to heal anyone physically and if he has special water spiritually which is also a great boon.

Genesis: Hmm..... I think I should see my limits before I think of fully making a training schedule.

With that thought in mind Genesis had got up before he started to walk towards the walls, once passing through them he had decided to head towards that pond he found in the Evergreen Forest. It is a perfect place to train since it provides him materials to bend three of the elements, with Fire bending coming from his energy itself.

Genesis: Now then lets start out the experiment.

Landing softly on the ground, Genesis spread out his energy in hope to see if he could attract any Grimm since he had figured that out earlier with the Beowulf. It took awhile but he was able to attract a nearby Grimm that had sensed Genesis releasing energy.

Genesis: A Beowolf huh?

Tensing up a little in order to prepare for the future fight, he was wanting to challenge himself by making him learn by fighting Grimm. While it may seem unethical he knew that he wishes to gain experience by fighting these creatures while he trains, but as to experiment he is going to try to use the other element to see where he stands with them.

Genesis: Let us start with Fire.

Keeping a close eye on the Beowolf he he decided that just like last time he would wait until the Enemy attacks first. Though it seems this Beowolf is smarter then the previous one since it is circling around him waiting for him to attack, but as soon as the Beowolf was getting ready to raise its paw to take a step Genesis had quickly thrust out his hands making a small stream of fire appear from his hand.

Beowolf: Grr!

The Beowolf was surprised when it suddenly saw fire appear from its preys fist but it had quickly jumped out of the way before it was burnt to a crisp. It had made the Beowolf weary of his prey knowing it could control the very flames, so it had knew it needed to end the fight soon.

Genesis: Tch, smart one aren't ya?

Seeing the Beowolf had now started to go on the offensive he went on the defensive. He kept dodging the Beowolf's strikes by using fire to give him a small boost or to make the Beowolf dodge in order to not burn itself, though after awhile Genesis had started to watch the Beowolf's movement in order to find out when he could strike next.

Genesis: Gotcha ya!

Quickly slamming his foot on the ground the ground underneath him started to shift before it had suddenly sprang up hoping to spear the Beowolf. The Beowolf had tried to dodge but it was pierced through the shoulder making it howl in pain once the earth had fully pierced its shoulder.

Genesis: Ha!

Genesis had made his hands close in on itself making the ground underneath the Beowolf shift before it had circled around the paws of the wolf making it trapped in its grasp. Once he had made sure it was secure Genesis sighed softly before looking at the struggling Beowolf.

Genesis: And with this comes air.... may you rest in piece and find your way into the afterlife.

Getting into a stance Genesis had calmly thrust his hands out in order to call upon the wind in order to kill the beast.... but only a slight breeze came to his call. Looking towards his fist, Genesis had tried it again but the same thing happened making Genesis realize the one element he wasn't able to bend that well.

Genesis: But why is it?

Sitting down on the ground Genesis didn't have to worry about the Beowolf since it was stuck in the ground while also having a makeshift rock spear piercing its shoulder. Though he now has to wonder why he couldn't bend the air that well, since he was able to bend water he thought he could do the same with air but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Genesis: Could it be that the air nomads ideas clash with my own?

The Air nomads are said to be the only ones to bend the air but since air is suppose to be the element of freedom, They wish to achieve it by one simple way.... disconnecting yourself from any others problems whether its world problems or others they didn't care. But to Genesis it would be spitting on the very ideals his had made himself follow, he wished to stay leveled and not ignore the problems of others.

Genesis: So in a certain way I am in the same boat as Korra?

Korra: That does seem to be the case, though I hope you wouldn't have to go through the same way I did in order to be able to bend the air.

Genesis: Gah!

Jumping at the sound of a new but familiar Voice Genesis quickly turned around only to be surprised to See Korra sitting down on a rock wit ha small smirk on her face. Quickly calming himself, he rubbed his eyes while blinking in order to make sure what he was seeing is real.

Korra: Yes it is real, though don't know why a spirit is rubbing their eyes even if they don't have a body?

Genesis: Well I am sorry but wouldn't you react the same way if you sudden;y see someone who appeared from a show you watch appear right in front of you?

Korra: Hmm that is true.

Sitting down on the ground Genesis looked towards Korra with a look of awe on his face, unlike others he actually appreciated how her season went. While he did have some parts he didn't like that doesn't mean he should just hate the season because of those parts.

Korra: So im guessing you have a bit of questions on how I am here?

Seeing Genesis nod his head Korra sighed before looking around at the new world she is in, she had noticed the struggling Beowolf out of the corner of her eye but had decided to ignore it in order to talk to her "descendant" for what questions he may have.

Genesis: Yes I actually do have a few questions..... is it possible for me to-

Korra: Sorry but no, well at least not right now though I don't blame you since Iroh is a nice person to meet he also makes great tea!

Genesis: Shoot.....

Genesis let out a chuckle knowing that it wouldn't be that simple to meet his idol but hey can't blame the man for trying? Shaking his head he decided to get to the important questions that were dwelling in his mind.

Genesis: Why are you here?

Korra: Ah finally getting to the good questions, and that can be answered simple because of one thing.... you wished for it.

Genesis: Eh?

Korra: Your wish, you wished to be able to bend the elements like the avatar. Now the Being you got your wishes from had decided to do exactly what you wished for, to be able to bend just like the avatar. So in order to do that it needed to one simple thing, connect you to the avatar lines... well at least one of them.

Genesis: Multiverse?

Korra: Multiverse.

Genesis nodded his head at the answer knowing why it could be an answer, with how the multiverse is he wouldn't be surprised if there was multiple lines of the avatar.

Genesis: I see, well I can't be mad at Solomon since he did give me what I wished for but that brings up the question on do I have to do what the avatar does?

Korra: Well that depends, do YOU wish to do what the avatar was suppose to do?

Genesis: I mean yes if the situation calls for it, but if not then I will help give insight or at least train those who were destined to bring peace to their world.

Korra: Then there is your answer.

Nodding his head Genesis quickly checked that one off his list, it was helpful to know since he doesn't have to go out of his way to fix the world which is what he wanted but he knew sooner or later he will have to step in.

Genesis: Next question, am I able to meet the other avatars?

Korra: hmm.... I mean maybe? I really don't know it was originally that was what it was suppose to be, you know having Raava ripped out of my body, but since you are a spirit and an avatar I really don't know.

Genesis: I see.....

Not that he was sad or anything, he is quite content with just having Korra to speak to, even if he had just found out. But it does also mean he possibly can't meet any of the older avatars which does suck since he wished to listen to their stories and learn from them.

Korra: Now then any other questions you may have?

Genesis: .... are you the original Korra?

Korra: Nope.

Genesis: I see..... well other then that I really don't have a question for you right now.

Nodding her head Korra had decided to see if he could answer a question of her own. The Grimm had been bugging but she had decided to return to the Spirit realm in order to tell the others of the news of what has happened.

Korra: Well then, If you have any questions then you know what to do.

With that Korra returned to the spirit realm leaving Genesis alone at the pond with Beowolf, Looking towards the spot Genesis blinked before he realized what he had forgotten to ask Korra when she had arrived here.

Genesis: Why didn't I ask on how I can bend air!?

Shaking his head he had decided to just call it a day, he was running out of energy holding the Beowolf in place so he knew he was going to have to meditate in order to regain his energy. Looking towards the Grimm, he had released the Grimm since he didn't see a reason to kill it.

Genesis: All it really was looking for is food, It doesn't make sense to kill it if I was the reason why it attacked me.

Turning around Genesis had started walking towards beacon again since he wanted to enjoy the forest around him, but he didn't seem to notice that the Beowolf was just staring at him with a look of confusion.

Beowolf: Aru?

It was confused because of what Genesis did, unlike what people like to believe not all Grimm Resent humanity and faunus because of the fact their original creator neglected the older generation of Grimm. So while most of them follow the Grimm Witch in hopes to destroy humanity there are the few Grimm that wants nothing to do with the past and just try to live.

Beowolf: ....

The Beowolf Continued to look towards the back of genesis before turning its head towards the forest it had came from. turning its head back to Genesis it had decided to do what it believed is best.....

Genesis: Huh?

Turning around Genesis was surprised to see that the Beowolf was running towards him even if it had a wound in its shoulder, Quickly preparing in case it was coming to attack him again he got confused when the Beowolf had suddenly stopped before it sat down in front of him.

Genesis: Um.... hello?

Genesis was confused on what he was suppose to do in this situation, he was use to the fact that Grimm are soulless creatures that just attack humanity and Faunus but here was a Beowolf just sitting down like a Dog.

Genesis: Do you..... want to follow me?

Seeing the Beowolf nod its head slightly, Genesis was surprised at the new situation but had smiled at the thought of having a traveling partner. Looking towards the Beowolf Genesis reached out his hand before he had put it down on the Beowolfs head in order to pet it.

Genesis: Well I don't see why you can't but if that is that case you do need a name!

Beowolf: Arf!

Seeing that his new partner was agreeing with him, Genesis had started to think of names. After awhile a name had appeared in Genesis mind before he nodded his head at the name that appeared in his mind.

Genesis: Well then how about.... Lobo?

The now named Lobo had thought of its name before it had let out a bark to signify it agreed with the name Lobo, with that out of the Way Genesis was about to walk away but he had suddenly felt weak even if he had energy to spare.

Genesis: What th...

But he couldn't finish his sentence for Genesis had passed out on the ground leaving him alone with Lobo, Though he wasn't the only one affected for Energy was leaving Genesis "body" in order to surround the two in a small ball of light. Soon it had fully entrapped the two before it had suddenly disappeared from its location.
