1 Why! Why! Why!

It's true, not all people are good. People could lie while telling the truth. And the others can easily speak the truth, but it's a lie. Hypothetically speaking, no matter what they say. The truth was based on you, what you believed in and that's the reality. It doesn't matter whether it's a lie or truth, but it's the person you want to believe in.

There was a saying; "when the truth is replaced by silence, the silence is a lie". Even a mere human can't easily define the real truth and what lies. Humans are unpredictable. They continue to change. They choose and decide carelessly and end up hurting someone or themselves.

I have this kind of thought. Why do some stories leave the end with "happily ever after" in the last part of a story? Even though it's just the start of a new beginning in the new story. "Happily ever after" was a myth. It only occurs in fairytale stories, when you are still a kid. In reality, not all in the billion stories of every human ends in a happy ending. Most of them never end. They just continue to live, and hoping "Happily ever after" comes into their life.

Of course, I belong to that kind of story. Where "happily ever after" never existed in the first place. It's a curse in every relationship that lives like in fairytale stories. And that curse continues to happen when they give birth to a child

"What happened to you, Fie?" Mr. Rodrigo asked her daughter

"Look at those bruises, where did you get that?" Mr. Rodrigo walks toward her and looks at her worried.

"It's nothing, I'm okay," Fierra said and tried to avoid her father

"Did you go to your mother?" Mr. Rodrigo asked her, calmly.

"Yeah… she said, she's going late," Fierra replied and walks to the kitchen and gets water

"It's that so… okay, now tell me. Why do you have bruises?" Mr. Rodrigo asked her again with a serious voice. He stands in front of Fierra and holds her hands as he asks.

"I got into a fight… someone called for help," Fierra replied to Mr. Rodrigo

"There was a girl gettin' hit by some guy, near where I always pass by on my way here. So I helped her. I stand in front of her, and that guy punches me accidentally. Then I immediately punch him down and tie him. After that, the police came." Fierra explains to her father and looks down.

"That's my little girl, but you must be careful. Next time, don't catch a punch unnecessarily." Mr. Rodrigo praises her, smiles, and pat Fierra's head.

Fierra looks at her father and smiles at him. She nodded as she responded to Mr. Rodrigo.

"Now, wait for me here. I'll get something for those bruises and clean that blood from your wounds." Mr. Rodrigo stands up, he walks into his room to get something.

But before Mr. Rodrigo came back, Fierrra already left the house and texted him saying; "Apa, I'm going out. I'll clean my wounds and bruises. I can take care of it. And to get some breather too. Don't worry, your daughter was a well-trained fighter by her father. I'll be right back!! :))"

Fierra leaves the house, riding her motorcycle. Mr. Rodrigo believes Fierra for what she said, without knowing she lied. Because the girl she saved was her mother. Fierra caught her mother having an affair. When Fierra was about to get Mrs. Rodrigo on her job, she saw her getting hit by some guy.

"How dare you to just leave me like that!" a man shouted at Mrs. Rodrigo, furiously.

"I can't do this anymore-" Mrs. Rodrigo said, crying and begging the man to stop.

"So you are going to leave me, just like them!?" A man holds Mrs. Rodrigo's shoulder tightly.

"Don't tell me...you are going to choose him again!?" the man shouted at her

"I'm sorry, I'd love him and my family…" Mrs. Rodrigo speaks and tries to get out of his grip on her shoulder.

"After what happened to us, it's all nothing to you?" The man asked her and strongly held Mrs. Rodrigo.

"What happened to us… it's just a misunderstanding. Please don't act like it was real." Mrs. Rodrigo explain to him

"You just used me!" The man got angry and became violent.

When the man can't accept her decision. The man got angry, he held his fist and gave a punch. And suddenly someone catches his punch. When Mrs. Rodrigo was about to get punched, someone walked in front of her. She was shocked and saw that it was Fierra.

"You don't deserve any of this, Mother." Fierra looked at her, disheartened, and whispered those words.

Fierra was furious that time and punched that man back immensely. She was hurt. Every time she punches that man. Fierra gave all pain to him.

"You…piece of shit!" Fierra looked at him, bluntly.

"Let me show you… how I treat a guy like you" Fierra steps forward to him.

"You are not a man at all!" Fierra shouted and punched him

"How could you hurt a lady…" She grabbed him by his collar and pulled him down and continued the punches.

"Don't show yourself again… stop seeing her or I'll get those eyes off you!" exclaimed in a furious voice

Mrs. Rodrigo stops Fierra, but she can't. Near the place where they are, police sirens are approaching. The man heard it, then stood up, trying to walk and leave.

"I… I'm sorry, Severina" that man said. He grunts and barely walks away

Fierra holds her mother and rides her motorcycle immediately. They leave the place quickly before the police get there. While they are on their way, no one speaks. Fierra continued to drive, Mrs. Rodrigo tried to explain but she didn't get any response from Fierra. Mrs. Rodrigo remained silent after what happened between them. And when they were near their house, Fierra stopped at a convenience store.

"Fix yourself and stop crying," Fierra speaks and looks at her mother with her eyes full of dismay.

"I'll go home first, clear your thoughts and stop that look. All lies you've told require commitment. So please don't act like you didn't expect this would never happen." Fierra added. She walks out and leaves her mother in a convenience store.

That night, a lot of things happened. Fierra plans to leave the house before her mother comes to their home. So she lied to her father and left Mrs. Rodrigo confessing everything to her husband. As soon as Fierra left the house, after 30 minutes Mrs. Rodrigo came back.

When Fierra leaves the house, she wanders about everything. While driving her mind is full of thoughts and causes her a lot of pain. Fierra never expected it, because they're just happy in the meantime, and then everything changed.

In the middle of the night, on her way to nowhere. Fierra's heart starts to break numerous times. She cried the hell out of her while she drove. She speeds up and rides carelessly, and getting into an accident won't matter. Because all she cares about turns into an abyss of despair.

"How could she do that… to us!"

"Isn't she happy enough?"

"If she was… then why!"

"Why! Why! why! … it's fucking bullshit!"

Those are thoughts running through her mind. She felt betrayed and dismayed. She wanted to scream and let out all the pain. And all she can do now, it's to ask why.

Fierra was wearing a brown varsity jacket, a plain white shirt inside, and black jeans, paired with black boots. She was 163cm tall, black long hair, and had reddish eyes. She graduated as an arts and design student. She was 21 years old, born on December 16. She always has this gloomy mood and gives you an aura of delicateness.
