Chapter 3

My army was ready, and our mission was clear, conquering the wildings, and finding the three-eyed raven.

With the old man, I would have access to all the world, the best master of whispers one could possibly have.

"We are ready, my king," Nerzhul said in his horse.

I was currently above the horse he used to use, the best undead horse available, "Then it's time to move forward,"

Nerzhul knew where the wildings were, he had been cornering for a while, so it was to be expected.

With our destination ahead, I rode, with my army following close behind.

It would take us a day to get to them, normally that is, my army was tireless; they didn't have anything to do but to obey.

Mance Ryder had the audacity to bear the title of king in my lands, but he would soon learn who is the real king beyond the wall.

After hours of galloping, I arrived where the king beyond the wall was; I could see his camp and the wildings moving.

I had failed to notice that I had left my army behind; apparently, I had fed my undead mount with magic, making run several times faster than an average horse.

My army was two hours away, thanks to that.

'Nerzhul, await for my command,' I ordered him telepathically.

'Yes, my king,' Nerzhul thought back.

This would prove to be quite the experience, and the chance I would give Mance and his people to join willingly.

With that in mind, I started to go towards the wildings; it wasn't after long that they noticed me some had their weapons out.

But they were all reluctant to attack; they knew I was dangerous; they could feel it deep within their bodies.

"Where is your leader?" I asked them.

"Oh, shit, it talks!?" A red-haired Viking looked alike said.

"Where is your leader?" I said with a low and cold tone, but this time I used my power to lower the temperature around them, low enough to be lethal if they stayed too long.

"I'm here!" Mance announced.

"I have come here to offer you the chance to live, all you have to do is kneel..." I said this was the only offer I would give them.

"We don't kneel!" Some wildings shouted.

"Is not a choice, you either kneel in live or in death," I said with a cold tone.

"Who are you?" Mance inquired.

"I am the Lord of the Scourge, The King of the Forsaken, The Dark Lord of the Dead, The Dark One, The Death God, The King of Darkness, The Jailer of the Damned, The Lord of Terror, but you may call me, The Lich King," I answered.

"You control the others," Mance said, referring obviously to the white walkers.

"I do, and my army is coming, so it's your choice to live and serve or die and serve," I informed him.

"We don't kneel," Mance said after awhile.

"You will," I said, taking Frostmourne of my back.

"Attack!" Mance shouted, and the battle started.

Mance was the first one to go; their attacks did nothing to me; with a single swing of the Frostmourne, several dozens would fall dead to my feet just to rise as my slaves.

'Nerzhul, make sure no one escapes and kills only those who oppose,' I commanded my general.

'As you wish, my king,' Nerzhul thought with determination to not fail me.

After a while and seeing that their struggles were in vain, and with their new king dead, they decided to run, but it was too late, my army had descended from all directions.

Closing every escape way.

"For the Lich King!" Nerzhul shouted as he started to cut through the wildings.

It took my army roughly forty minutes to destroy the resistance.

Out of the one hundred thousand wildings, only ten thousand were alive, the majority being babies, kids, women, and old people.

"I will give you a choice, join me in life or in death," I had decimated their army, killed their soldiers adding them to mine, so out of pity, I gave them the same option their last king rejected, would they be wiser than him?

"If we join you... we will live?" A woman asked trembling, she had a beautiful long blond hair, and red and inviting lips, her body was a treat for the eyes.

"What is your name?" I inquired, confused as to why I still felt some carnal attraction.

"Val-" Val answered with a dagger at hand.

"You are what they call a spearwife, right?" I inquired.

"I haven't stolen or been stolen by anyone yet... but yes, that would be the term," Val said, still shaking.

"If you join me and kneel before me, I will let you and all those that decided to kneel live in my reign," I decided to answer her question.

"So, we get to live?" Val asked once again.

"Yes, all it takes is to kneel and swear your loyalty to me," I nodded.

They remaining wildings started to muttered between them, and the majority decided to kneel and swear their loyalty to me.

"Good, now for those that decided to defy me once again, you will suffer a fate worse than death," I announced coldly.

'Make sure this Val doesn't take any husband, I'm intrigued by something I felt when I saw her,' I ordered Nerzhul, telepathically.

'As you command my King, ' Nerzhul answered through our link.

After killing and raising their army, I decided to give them back some of their humanity as I did with some on my original army.

"Bring me the leaders I have a mission for them, " I ordered.

My army had almost doubled in less than a day.

I would now have to hunt the remaining wildings and hunt the three-eyed raven, and the lands beyond the wall would be mine.

"Here they are, my king," Nerzhul presented the leaders, including Mace, among them.

Hate, fear, despair, excitement, their emotions were an array of confusion for me, but it was irrelevant.

"Mace, and what's your name?" I pointed at the red-haired bearded, undead man.

"Tormund, my king," I could feel amusement on his soul.

"You are amused; why?" I inquired.

"I expected this white walker business to be more...like with less freedom," Tormund chuckled.

"The freedom you have is a luxury that can be easily taken away if you fail to complete what I expect of you," I said coldly.

"And what is that?" Mace inquired hate burning bright in his soul.

"You two will be hunting the remaining wildings around, and bring them back to me," I ordered them, "And Mace, remember that I gave you a choice, one that you threw away,"

With the wilding army hunting the remaining wildings scattered around my lands, it was time to kill a dusty old raven.

"Nerzhul take one thousand soldiers, and send the rest to help with the construction of my kingdom, I will only need one thousand to find my prey," I ordered him.

"As you wish, what about the living?" Nerzhul inquired.

"Take them there, and make sure we have hunters to provide for their biological weakness," I commanded.

"Your will is my command," Nerzhul said as he left to make sure my orders were followed to the letter.

As I see this, I feel a crow flying above me, far, far away from my grasp but close enough for me to feel it, staring at me.

The three-eyed raven, he was already keeping tabs on me, little did he know it would be his own undoing.

With a single motion, I threw the sword to the air piercing one of the wings in the bird.

For a second, the three-eyed raven and I were connected because, for a second, the raven he used to spy on me wielded Frostmourne.

And one of the abilities I have as The Lich King is being able of seeing through the eyes and hearing through the ears of anyone who wields Frostmourne; this useful ability cannot be stopped by any mortal means.

And the bird that was the three eye raven wielded the Frostmourne for a second, long enough to know where he was.

"I am coming for you, " I smiled.

[Three Eyed Raven - POV]

Someone had taken control of the night king, the childs of the forest noticed this first, saying.

"Something colder and more powerful than all the magic in this world has awakened... m" Leaf said shaking.

I had to investigate, his army was moving towards the wildings.

And there I saw him, he emanated a threatening feeling, of death.

It didn't take him long to destroy the wildings, but he didn't kill them all, he offered them twice a chance.

He was at the very least more human than the night king ever was but undoubtedly more dangerous.

After giving some orders to his new soldiers, he turned his piercing gaze to me.

He noticed I was following him, I need to—— pain erupted from my arm.

He pierced the wing of the crow I had possessed, and during that brief time I felt his presence around me.

'I am coming for you'

"Leaf, we have to prepare he knows were we are," I was trembling, but it didn't matter, if he knew or not where we were, as long the runes protected us from the undead.
