Vol. 9 - Chapter 10: The White Witch´s Revival

In the present day, Samantha stands up with the necklace and asks:

"How did you find my mother´s necklace?"

"Alexandria told me where to find it; she also told me the wish your mother had. Take a look inside." Mercy replies to Samantha, she opens the necklace and begins to cry saying:

"MAMA, MAMA"

"Now then child, get to the center of the circle and put this dress on, the ritual is about to begin." Mercy says pointing at the circle. Samantha stands up and opens her soulless eyes replying:

"Of course, I must be the vessel."

Samantha changes into a white sleeveless dress. Mercy smiles and says:

"Well then, now to bring our guest here."

Mercy makes three magic circles, the circles make Uriel and the two girls appear.

"What´s going on, we were just fighting the wendigo" Abi says looking clueless. Uriel falls exhausted into one knee breathing heavily. Uriel looks at Samantha with a white dress, he asks:

"What´s going on here? Samantha what are you doing here?"

"GYYYYAAAAHHH, AAAAHHHHH"

Uriel hears people screaming outside and stands up; Mercy walks towards Uriel and says:

"Uriel, you must stay here, we need to begin the ritual."

"What about your people, they are being slaughter by the wendigo." Uriel replies with a furious tone. Mercy makes a cut in her hand and throws blood in the ground. Mercy smiles and begins to chant:

"sanguis vincula" (Blood chains)

Chains begin to come out of the blood and hold Uriel tight. The chains get tighter with Uriel´s struggle.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING, ARE YOU GOING TO LET YOUR PEOPLE DIE!" Uriel screams at Mercy, Mercy looks at him with a cold stare and says:

"You outsider has nothing to do with our matter, my people knew that they needed to be sacrificed in order to complete this ritual."

Mercy walks towards the two girls, the girls have a worried expression. Mercy smiles and hugs both of them saying:

"Thank you for everything, you two must live on your lives. I will send you to a place that is much safer, please forgive and Goodbye."

"What are you talking about; you said that we would help." Abi says with tears in her eyes.

Betty looks at Samantha and says; "You were a good friend, please take care."

Samantha smiles at them, Betty looks at Mercy, she grabs Abi's hand and says:

"We're ready, thank you."

A circle opens beneath the two girls, Mercy cries and says:

"GOODBYE, MY DAUGHTERS."

Abi and Betty disappear from their sight. Uriel tries to break free; Mercy wipes the tears from her eyes and walks towards Samantha:

'I'm sorry for the delay, please continue."

Samantha begins to walk towards Uriel. "Samantha, what are you doing?" Uriel asks nervously. Samantha hugs Uriel saying:

"Forgive me, Ichabod."

(PPUUMM)

"W-W-What...Are...You...Doiiinnggg?" Blood begins to come out of Uriel's mouth. Samantha stabs Uriel in the stomach with a knife, Uriel breathes heavily as tears begins to come outof his eyes. Samantha takes the knife out of Uriel and causes blood to come out of the stomach.

"I´m sorry, I need your blood for the ritual." Samantha says to Uriel as she hugs him. Uriel feels pain and asks:

"W-W-Whyy…?"

"I need a certain amount of your blood, now please bear with it." Samantha replies as she kisses Uriel in the mouth. Samantha begins to suck out the blood on Uriel´s mouth and swallows it; she begins to absorb Uriel's manna. After a few moments, she lets go of Uriel. Uriel feels that his energy is completely gone. Samantha puts something in Uriel's side pocket. Mercy releases the spell causing Uriel to fall into the ground. Mercy hits the ground and chants:

"Corpus pythonissam" (Witch's Body)

A coffin begins to rise out of the ground, the top of the coffin breaks, revealing the body of the witch, a skeleton with white hair. Samantha takes a strand of the witch's hair. She makes the heart appear in her hand, she walks towards the center of the circle.

In the sky, clouds begin to form and lightning is created among the clouds. Mercy walks slowly away from Samantha saying:

"Now, it is time for her 100 year slumber to end. Now the resurrection of our leader begins."

Uriel lifts his head and with a shocking expression exclaims:

"Weren't you suppose to destroy the heart, SAMANTHA"

Mercy laughs and says:

"That was all a lie, our primary objective is to revive Alexandria that was always the truth. The village always sent witches outside in order for them to search for the heart. Samantha always knew and she tricked you in order for you to cooperate."

Samantha looks at Uriel with guilt. Uriel looks at her with rage. She begins to think:

"If I do this, I will be worthy."

"DO IT, THE TIME IS RIGHT." The ghost of Alexandria appears in front of Uriel. In the sky the clouds make small hole for the moon to appear. The third lunar eclipse begins illuminating a red light that goes to the ground. Mercy blows up the ceiling with manna. Samantha takes the heart and elevates it to the sky. She begins to chant:

"Oh dear moon, I present you the heart of my mother."

Samantha takes off her dress; she takes out her knife and stabs her chest. Uriel enters in shock and screams:

'NNNOOOOOO, SAMANTHAAAA"

Samantha breathes heavily making a hole in her chest. She continues to chant:

"My body is yours, your heart is mine, with a horseman's power, oh mother of witches, please accept your humble servant's temple."

Samantha puts the heart of Alexandria inside her body as she continues to chant:

"I accept your heart even if I am not worthy of your soul but please use my body as yours."

(BAADDDUUUUMMMPPP)

Alexandria's heart begins to synchronize with Samantha's heart slowly fusing. Samantha finishes her chant:

"I, Samantha Beldam, vessel of the great White Witch Alexandria shall forever serve her as being part of her: Anima Sacrificium" (Soul Sacrifice)

(BBBAAADDDUUUMMMPPP)

The soul of Alexandria and her body begin to turn into manna and slowly being absorbed by Samantha, the hearts have completely synchronized beating at the same rhythm. Samantha looks at Uriel and whispers:

"I LOVE YOU"

"AAAAHHHHHHH" Samantha screams as her body begins to transform. White manna begins is released to the sky, Samantha's essence begins to disappear as Alexandria begins to be revived. Uriel cries as he watches Samantha "die." Mercy laughs and extends her arms screaming:

"SUCCESS, THANKYOU UNWANTED CHILD FOR BEING WORTHY, OUR MOTHER HAS REVIVED."

Samantha floats in a white space, she looks that nothing is around, she begins to think:

"Did I die? Was I worthy in the end? Will Uriel hate me for the rest of his life?"

Samantha begins to cry; suddenly a hand touches Samantha's shoulder.Samantha turns around and says:

"M-M-MAMA, YOU'RE HERE." Samantha hugs her mother who says:

"I've been waiting for you, my daughter, come"

The white space begins to transform into a field of green grass with a large tree in the middle, the sun shines bright as they begin to walk towards the tree. Below the tree, a young girl waits for them sitting in a blanket. Samantha runs and hugs her crying:

"I wanted to see you for a long time, Bridget."

Bridget smiles and replies; "I wanted to see you too, now we can be together forever."

"That's right; you need to tell us your story Samantha." Martha says as she sits in the blanket. Samantha turns into her 6 year self, she looks at both of them and says:

"It's a long story, so I am going to take my time."

"Sure" Both of them say with a smile. Samantha begins to tell a story as the white witch watches them from afar, she smiles and begins to walk towards a door and begins to cross it slowly.

In the cabin, the manna ray begins to disappear, the moon also disappears. A figure of a young maiden with a naked body shines in the middle of the circle. She is about 16 years old; she has white long hair, a thin body with average breasts. She opens her eyes revealing their blue color. Her feet touch the ground, and she looks at her new body.

Mercy kneels down and says:

"My queen Alexandria, I am your servant and I welcome you to this world once more."

Alexandria makes a dress appear, her dress goes down to her knees, and she has sleeves that cover her shoulders. She begins to walk forward and goes towards Mercy; Mercy feels the enormous amount of manna Alexandria was releasing.

"This body did not complete my transformation, I am still in my teenage form but this will do for now." Alexandria says to Mercy, Mercy smiles and says:

"My queen, this man wanted to destroy your heart, you must punish him."

Mercy points at Uriel who lost consciousness, Alexandria looks at him and replies:

"Aww yes, El Charro Negro, he seems to have lost conscious, I will deal him after I give you a reward."

Alexandria charges manna in her hand and stabs Mercy; she begins to absorb Mercy's manna. Mercy screams:

"MY QUEEN, WHAT ARE YOU DOING? I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO GET A REWARD."

Alexandria smiles and replies; "You are getting your reward, and that reward is to die by my hands."

"But why, I am your loyal follower." Mercy questions Alexandria, Alexandria looks at her with disgust and replies:

"You think that just by being my follower, I would erase the sins that you have made, you sacrificed many lives of innocent people, and you sacrifice your own sisters in order for you to live. You were even going to sacrifice my vessel. You think that just by being a loyal prayer, you can kill an innocent life? that is not how I do things. You are an evil person; however rejoice because you will serve your purpose."

"YOU BITCH, I WILL KILL YOU AGAIN" Mercy shouts at Alexandria, she extends her arm.

(SSSLLLLAAAHHHH)

Alexandria cuts Mercy's arm causing her to scream:

"GYYYYAA, MY AAAARRRMMM."

"You dare raise your hand on your queen? You disgust me, now you will die."

Alexandria rips Mercy's heart out causing her to die instantly, Alexandria crushes Mercy's heart. Alexandria heads towards Uriel; she turns him to be facing up and uses manna to heal his wound. Uriel wakes up and sees her, Uriel with no energy says:

"W-W-Where is Samantha?"

Alexandria smiles and replies putting her hand in her chest:

"She is now part of me, and I am part of her, we are now one."

Uriel begins to cry saying:

"I couldn't protect her, I'm a failure."

"You did protect her until the end, and for that I am grateful. You may keep your life for this time." Alexandria replies as she stands up. Uriel with a low tone asks:

"What are you going to do now?"

Alexandria makes a sinister smile and says; "I'm going to destroy this world that rejected me a long time ago."
