Vol. 8 - Chapter 7: The Northwestern Mountains

Part1 – Area 5X– A few minutes before

In the mountains, 50 km east of Sin City, a secret base is located within the mirage of the desert. In the base people believe that many supernatural events happened, from the alien investigation to secret military weapons. The truth is that this base is a neutral base created by the government where many people from different agencies come to this base to share information. This base has branches of agencies across the world including the SIA, Ygdrasil, Puritan Defense and the Order of the Divine Cross (An organization of the Catholic Church) and many others that are not related to the supernatural. The military also uses this base to train their soldiers for possible attacks of an unknown identity, with the exact order from the government to remain neutral and work without any conflict.

In the Ygdrasil branch, Johanna and Katsumi look at Chloe kissing Uriel. Katsumi´s reacts with rage and begins to scream:

"WHAT THE HELL DOES URIEL THINK HIS DOING, DAMN IT."

Allan Carter who is the director in that branch begins to laugh, he looks at Katsumi and says:

"Wow that guy is a womanizer."

"SHUT UP, THIS ISN´T FUNNY!" Katsumi says with a furious tone to Allan. A blonde woman steps forward and says:

"Ms. Miyazono, I would appreciate if you don´t raise you voice in the office."

Katsumi begins to realize that she yelled to Allan and lowers her head saying:

"I´m sorry, please forgive me."

Allan laughs and replies; "Don´t worry, I would also get jealous if I saw the woman I love kissing another man, Isn´t that right, Heidi?"

Heidi Muller (Age 28) is a blonde woman with a thin body; she has pale skin with brown eyes. She is the secretary of Allan as well as his wife, she is a beautiful woman and has the same rank as Katsumi, Elite Root, and she is originally from Germany.

Heidi slaps Allan with her note pad and with her face red she says; "Idiot, remember we are working here."

"Anyway, good job, unfortunately we lost the key and Darius has 4 out of 5 now, Katsumi you must return to Sun City at once, I am planning to have reinforcements to help you because things will get complicated." Allan says as he rubs his head. Katsumi lowers her head and replies:

"Understood sir, thank you so much for your help."

Johanna only stares at the television and touches her heart thinking; "What is this pain, I felt it before, but I don´t understand."

"I see, so you do have feeling for Ichabod." Johanna hears a voice coming from behind, she turns around and sees a girl with black her and pale skin. Everyone in the office get surprised to see her. Katsumi takes out her katana and Heidi steps in front of Allan. Allan looks at her and asks:

"Who are you?"

"Greetings, my name is Samantha and came here for her." Samantha points out at Johanna, Katsumi tries to attack her but Samantha paralyzes everyone except Johanna with the snap of her finger. The whole room turns black and white, Johanna looks at her and smiles:

"What do you need from me?"

"I saw my Ichabod´s memories, you are forcing him to look for the keys or you will kill his mother." Samantha replies, Johanna surprises herself and replies:

"Yeah so what? That´s none of your business."

"Of course it is, he is my lover and now you I will do the same trick you did with him," Samantha replies as she takes out a sphere, and looks at Johanna and says:

"Do you know that the heart lies? You saw Ichabod kissing that other girl, do you feel jealous of her? Did you feel a pain in your heart?"

Johanna looks away and acts like she doesn´t know saying; "I don´t know what are talking about" Samantha makes a sinister smile and replies; "You are a liar and for that your heart is now mine." –BBBAAAADDDUUUUMMMPPP- Johanna begins to feel pain in her chest as she sees her heart coming out of her body. She begins to tremble of fear and screams, Samantha grabs her heart and puta it in the sphere:

"I will hold on to your heart, when you admit that you love Ichabod your heat will return, but I doubt you will. Now you must have fate in Uriel to save you, haha"

Time begins to move, Johanna collapses, and Katsumi holds her and begins to scream at her. However, Johanna didn´t respond, Katsumi looks at Samantha and exclaims:

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER?"

"I took away her heart, now Uriel will need to help me, so long" Samantha disappears, leaving everyone in shocked seeing Johanna unconscious.

Part 2 – Sin City Airport

Samantha appears in front of Uriel in a blink of an eye. She lifts the orb and says to Uriel:

"Ichabod, I am very angry at you for kissing that girl, but I will forgive you if you come with me right now to the Northwestern Mountains."

"What are you saying? I can´t right now I must go to where my comrades are?" Uriel replies looking at Samantha, she walks closer to Uriel to the point that Uriel begins to hear the sphere beating.

(BADUMP, BADUMP, BADUMP)

Samantha smiles at Uriel and says; "This is the heart of your friend Johanna, I brought as insurance just like she did to your mother." Uriel looks shocked, seeing the sphere and says; "Why do you have her heart?"

"She is causing you pain, so I will cause her pain, that is what lovers do." Samantha replies with a friendly smile. Uriel grabs Samantha´s arm and screams; "RETURN THAT HEART TO HER THIS INSTANT."

"I WON´T DO IT, DON´T BE AN IDIOT, SHE IS A BAD PEROSN AND YOU STILL WANT TO HELP HER, ARE YOU AN IDIOT?" Samantha replies to Uriel, Uriel lowers his head and begins to think at Johanna´s smile, he lifts his head with a confidence expression and says; "Yes I am an idiot, I will help her, and if I can save her by going with you right now, I will."

Samantha smiles at him and replies; "This is why I love you Ichabod, if you help me get that treasure in the mountains, I will return her heart after you´ve help me, is it a deal?"

Uriel stretches his arm and they shake hands and Uriel says; "It´s a deal."

"Well then, we have a few hours before the moon shows up, shall we get going?" Samantha says to Uriel, she hugs him and begins to chant:

"Teleportation" (note: this is the same word for English and latin)

A green magical circle forms beneath their feet and shines with great intensity making both of them disappear.

Part 3 –Area 5X

(BEEP, BEEP, BEEP)

One hour later, Johanna is in the clinic being monitor by special manna machines in order to keep her alive. Katsumi only looks from a glass window, with a worries expression she asks Heidi:

"What happened to her, she suddenly collapsed"

"The truth is that she was put into a spell, her heart was taken from her." Heidi says as she leaves the room. Katsumi with tears in her eyes calls Uriel.

"Hello Katsumi, how are you doing?" Uriel answers the phone, Katsumi with a shaky voice says; "Uriel, I have bad news, Johanna has been..."

"She has been put into a spell, I know but don't worry, I will save her." Uriel responds to Katsumi, she looks surprised at Johanna and asks:

"How did you know about that?"

"It´s a long story, but don´t worry, everything will be alright, just trusts me. I have to go now, because there will be no signal where I´m going."

"Uriel where are you at, you are not at Sin City? Uriel!" Katsumi screams but the signal was lost. Allan comes in and says:

"You won´t believe where is your boyfriend right now." He shows Katsumi a map leaving her shocked. She begins to say; "What is he doing there?"

Part 4 – Northwestern Region

In the northwestern part of the country, there is vast area of pines, woods and mountains surrounding. The largest Mountainis known as "Baker" in this area, there are stories of a powerful tribe of Natives that lived a long time ago. They said that this Natives possessed great strength feared by the explorers that venture in to the woods. The climate there is always Rainy and cold; they say that the sun almost never hits that area making it perfect for the fauna to live there. People avoid that area for a legend that passes through generations ever since the age of exploration. The legend is about a great beast that lives in those mountains, an ape like best known as "Sasquatch or "Bigfoot." An ape like beast that many hunters try to capture but with no luck, that case is still a mystery to be discovered.

Uriel and Samantha walk in a town known as "Bigfoot" and it is the closest town next to the mountain "Baker. "The town is small and has rain all the time; Uriel wears a rain proofed jacket, and some hiking boots. Samantha also has a rainproof jacket, with some hiking boots as well. The town has some stores open, there aren´t many people outside because of the rain. Uriel and Samantha enter a local restaurant, the restaurant has wood made tables and chairs. As they eat, Uriel decides to ask the man in charge of the restaurant a large man with muscular body, dark skin and brown eyes about the story of this town.

"This town is named after the famous Bigfoot, a folktale passed down through many generations. Many people claim to see it as they venture in to the woods but we don´t have any proof. So are you here to look for him?"

"Well no, we are actually here to study the mountain with its flora." Uriel answers with a smile, the man stares at Samantha and says:

"Alright, just be careful, many venture in to the woods and disappear, especially young girls like you."

Samantha smiles and replies: "Don´t worry, I can´t take care of myself, but I have my lover with me"

Uriel blushes as Samantha holds his hand. The owner smiles and says:

"Ah, young love, have a safe trip."

Uriel and Samantha walk towards the mountains, the road is a very unleveled as they walk they deeper into the woods, they come across a river that leads to a lake called "Baker Lake." A large body of water, with many animals drinking water from it, the lake is the base of the mountain. Becuase the sky is dark and a light rain falls, Uriel and Samantha walk carefully as they try to reach the base of the mountain. While they rest in a mall camp; Uriel gives Samantha some soup, he eats some bread as well, as they eat, Uriel decides to asks Samantha:

"What is this thing we are looking for?"

Samantha touches her breast and replies; "My heart, the heart of the White Witch Alexandria."

Uriel stops eating and looks at her with fear asking; "You mean the real heart, I thought she died a long time ago?"

"Her soul was separated, her body remains in the Village of Witches located in the eastern woods of the country but her heart is here in the mountain. Alexandria´s soul walks around the country looking for her heart." Samantha replies looking at the sky, Uriel with a serious tone asks:

"Then why are you saying you are her reincarnation?"

"Well technically, I am not, I met her soul and she told me that I was the chosen one." Samantha replies looking at Uriel. Rain begins to fall once again, Uriel looks at her and asks; "What are trying to do with her heart?"

"I want her heart to be with her lover Ichabod, he was just like you "special."

"I see, well then if helping you will return Johanna´s heart, I will." Uriel replies to Samantha. The rain gets heavier, Uriel and Samantha run to a cave that´s near the mountain. Uriel and Samantha are wet all over; Uriel makes a camp fire in the cave to warm themselves up. Samantha begins to take off her close, Uriel panics:

"What are you doing?"

"I´m just taking my clothes off, to dry them up, you should do the same." Samantha says as she is left only with her underwear, she has a purple bra and panties. Uriel looks away and says:

"Well that´s not necessary, I can easily dry them up with my wind."

Samantha begins to walk and hugs Uriel´s back saying:

"My dear Ichabod, I want you to make me yours."

Uriel opens his eyes wider and his heart beat begins to increase; -BADUMP, BADUMP, BADUMP- Samantha begins to move her hands rubbing Uriel´s chest and begins to go lower, she begins to lick Uriel´s ears slowly however Uriel stands up and says:

"Please stop, this isn´t right, we barely know each other."

"That´s true, we have known each other for a long time." Samantha says with tears in her eyes. "

"Even if we do know each other, even if we were past lovers, we aren´t today." Uriel response with an angry expression. Samantha begins to cry and says:

"Why are you rejecting me, am I not beautiful to you, are you not a man?"

"You are beautiful, and I am a man who loves woman but I won´t do indecent things to someone I don't love."

Samantha lowers her head and continues crying:

"I see, so you don´t love me, this is very sad."

"I´m sorry, but I don´t" Uriel response with a sigh. Samantha looks up and with a sad tone she asks:

"Is it because you love Marjorie, I saw it in your mind" Uriel looks surprise and smiles; "Yes, I love her, however I want to help everyone be happy including you."

Samantha begins to laugh and says; "You are too naïve but I like that side of you." Samantha puts her clothes back on; Uriel uses his wind to dry themselves up. At that moment they begin to hear strange noises coming from outside.

"UUUUUU, OOOOOHHHHH"

Samantha and Uriel go outside to find themselves surrounded by strange people wearing an ape shaped masks. One of them steps forward and says:

"WELCOME, DESCENDANT OF EL CHARRO NEGRO!"
