Vol. 8 - Chapter 5: The Diamond Concert

Part 1 – 8 years ago: Japan

"Ka-san, Ka-san" (Mom) A young Chloe (Age 8) yells to her mother as she climbs the stairs of a certain mountain it is night time meaning that the lights of the city are on, her mother walks slowly as she says:

"I'm coming my dear, please wait a little."

Chloe reaches the top and makes an exciting expression as she sees the lights of a certain Japanese city. Chloe's eyes are filled with surprise as she screams:

"WOW, THE LIGHTS ARE BEAUTIFUL KA-SAN"

Chloe's mom reaches the top of the stairs and begins to cough as she is sick. Nanao Aoi ( Age 25) is a beautiful woman with blue hair, brown, and a slim body. She's sick, meaning that she can only walk slowly. Chloe runs a hugs Nanao , Nano smiles and replies:

"Did you know I've always loved this spot when I was your age?"

"Really, I did not know that." Chloe replies as she sees the lights. Nanao sits in one of the benches that are located in the spotting area of the mountain. She continues to speak:

"Your grandparents used to take me here when I was your age."

Chloe sits next to her mom and puts her head in her lap. Nanao looks at the city with her, she begins to tell Chloe:

"Chloe, they say that heroes often appear when the stars of the sky and the earth shine bright in the night."

"Really, I don't understand that Ka-san" Chloe says as she yawns, Nanao pats her head laughing and replies:

"You'll understand when you're older; remember that heroes do exist, Chloe."

Part 2 – Present Day: Sin City

At the same time that El Muerto attacks the Casino, Uriel and Chloe used the power of the wind to elevate to the sky. The breeze hits their bodies as they float high above the ground, even higher than the tallest building. As the pressure of the of wind lowers, Uriel says:

"You can open your eyes now."

Chloe opens her eyes and begins to see the lights of the city shining bright in a deserted region. The land surrounding the city is a desert meaning that the only lights shining are the ones in the ground of Sin City and the stars in the sky. The two lights mix together in harmony making an illusion that the stars hit the ground as well.

Chloe begins to remember the time that she went to the mountains with her mother, tears begin to come out of her eyes as she says:

"This is so beautiful; the stars are hitting the ground."

"They sure right, the wind is our friend, and it can help us reach the stars whenever we need to." Uriel shouts as Chloe begins to remember her mother's words:

"Heroes appear when the stars of heaven and earth shine bright."

Chloe holds Uriel tighter as she thinks; "Ka-san now I understand the words you said to me a long time ago."

Chloe cries as she says to Uriel with a shaky voice:

"Thank you, my hero"

Uriel smiles as they begin to descend with the direction of the stadium. The stadium is already full of many fans and spectators waiting for Chloe's concert. Uriel looks at the stage and instructs Chloe:

"Listen, I'm going to use the wind to distract them, you must hurry and get yourself ready for the concert."

"Will you be watching me, Uriel?' Chloe asks with a shy face, Uriel looks at her smiling and replies:

"Of course I will, and I will see you off at the airport, I am your bodyguard after all."

Chloe blushes and lowers her head, Uriel increases the descending speed. He begins to gather manna in the palm of his hand and at the moment they land, Uriel begins to chant:

"Corriente divina del viento" (Divine wind corrent)

A giant vortex of wind forms wind great intensity causing the crowd to panic, and the lights go out thanks to his manna power. Uriel uses the opportunity to and in the middle of the stage; Uriel puts Chloe down and says:

"Good Luck, I'll be watching you."

Uriel with high speed disappears of the stage; Chloe runs to the side stage and meets with her manager.

"CHLOE, CHLOE, CHLOE" The crowd screams their idol's name, impatiently wanting the concert to begin, the whole stadium is full with the capacity of 30000 people. Suddenly the lights turn off:

-♫,♪,♫,♪-

Music begins to play; the crowd is silent waiting for something to happen. First the drums begin to play, along with a harmonious rhythm of the guitar. A light appears in the center revealing a figure of the young idol:

"HOW ARE YOU ALL DOING!!!! SIN CITY ARE YOU READY TO SHINE!!!!!"

"AAHHHHHH CHLOE, CHLOE, CHLOE, CHLOE!!!!!!"

The crowd cheers with excitement, as Chloe begins to sing.

-♫,♪,♫,♪-

Uriel climbs the stairs hearing the music. –BOOOOMM- A girl runs and hugs him from behind.

"Teacher, I´m glad you are safe." Victoria says crying and hugging him from behind. Angela is with and hugs him from in front causing Uriel to blush as Angela says:

"I´m glad that you are alright."

"T-T-Thank you two, I-m happy that you are alright but how did you free yourself?" Uriel asks with a suspicious face. Victoria smiles and replies:

"It was thanks to Katsumi, who won the poker tournament and made Condoriano free us as well."

"I see, those are really good news." Uriel replies with a smile, Victoria and Angela pull Uriel´s arm saying:

"Come teacher, the others are waiting."

In the top of the stadium, in the VIP Lounge, Condoriano watches the concert with Lenny who has bandages in his body. Condoriano laughs and says:

"So Lenny, was he worth being one of them?"

Lenny smiles and replies: "Yes sir, he might be the strongest of the four." Condoriano drinks from his glass, as he receives a call from her daughter. Before answering he says:

"We will meet again, Charro Negro."

Uriel arrives at the top of the stage where Johanna, Katsumi and Tsubasa were watching the concert. Uriel smiles and says:

"Mission accomplished."

"Well done, Uriel, we will worry about the other thing later, for now let´s enjoy." Johanna winks at Uriel. The group begins to cheer at the idol who is delivering a great show. After two hours of the incredible concert, Chloe arrives with a diamond colored dress preparing to sing the last song.

"Thank you so much for coming, I would like to dedicate this last song to a person who I really care about, this person is in the crowd and I want him to listen to my feeling." Chloe says to the crowd as they begin to look around to see who it was. Katsumi, Victoria and Angela look at Uriel, he with a clueless face asks what was going on.

The guitar begins to play along with a harmonious melody combining it with a piano. The music plays in a slow rhythm similar to a love song.

♫ - I was lost in heaven,

Searching for an answer.

Flying like a raven,

Feeling like a dancer. ♫

The scenery changes into a blue sky and white birds are released in the sky, the lights change into bluish tone colors with silver. Chloe continues with her song:

♫- I began to fall to earth,

With no affection to hold.

Nothing for me was worth,

Dropping my soul of gold. ♫

The rhythm begins to increase in a much faster tempo; Chloe begins to smile and sings:

♫ - Then you arrived like an angel,

Soaring through the sky and I could see.

That you were in the same state, it was painful,

But you flew into the clouds to rescue me. ♫

The crowd takes out their glowing sticks and begins to move them in a synchronized way from one side to another. Chloe sings her last stanza:

♫- I fell into your arms, as the sky was blue,

The ocean was too and we counted backwards to zero.

Heaven and earth finally united, because I was with you,

And I finally understood, that you are my hero.♫

Chloe finishes her song; the crowd begins to cheer for her, Chloe bows as a sign of gratitude. She closes her right eye looking for someone with her left eye. Chloe notices the red and purple aura, she points out towards the direction were Uriel and the others were located, she winks and she says:

"THANK YOU VERY MUCH AND I LOVE YOU!"

Uriel blushes as the others notice that she was pointing at Uriel; "Why was she pointing at you?" Katsumi says with her cheeks puffed up. Victoria hugs him as she exclaims:

"That´s no fair teacher, I´m supposed to be your number one."Angela holds him as well saying; "He is mine as well." Tsubasa writes in his notebook:

"The teacher likes to have a harem." Johanna reads that and begins to laugh as she says: "You might be right." Uriel begins to scream: "GIVE ME A BREAK!"
