Vol. 8 - Chapter 2: “What are your intentions?”
Part 1 – Big Apple Hotel
Uriel and Lenny arrive at the "Big Apple Hotel." A hotel that is based on the famous city, it has great skyscrapers making it the tallest hotel; it also has a rollercoaster passing by attracting many tourists, and the lights change into different colors. In the restaurant Condoriano is eating his lunch along with many bodyguards guarding him. Uriel proceeds in walking towards him. Condoriano notices and screams:
"MY GUEST HAS ARRIVED, WELCOME URIEL!"
Uriel sits in front of him, Condoriano offers him something from the menu, Uriel only orders a soda, Uriel looks at him and asks:
"What did you want to talk about?"
"I want to know what your intentions with Chloe Diamont are." Condoriano asks Uriel with a great smile, Uriel looks angry and replies:
"My intentions are to keep her away from people like you."
"Is she paying you?" Condoriano asks, Uriel with rage responds:
"No, I don't need money to protect her."
Condoriano begins to laugh saying; "My you sure are an idiot to be used like that."
"What's the problem with wanting to protect someone?" Uriel asks with anger, Condoriano drink from his glass and replies:
"Nothing, in fact, I admire you, in this world people like you are rare."
"Let me ask you why are you attacking Chloe?" Uriel makes another question; Condoriano looks at his glass smiling and replies:
"I am not attacking her; in fact, you should be thanking me that she was with me."
Uriel with a doubtful face asks him; "What do you mean by that?"
Condoriano laughs once again saying; "You are too naïve, you are protecting someone without knowing what you got yourself into. I just wanted her to give me an autograph for my daughter who is about 14 years old. That is why I ask her to come, but you intervene. Those police men that you took down where not working for me."
Uriel with a shocking face begins to ask; "Then for who? I thought they were your men that is what Chloe said."
"They were agents from the SIA, the same agency that you friend Johanna Gomez is working for." Condoriano replies with the surprise of Uriel. Uriel looks at him and says:
"You're lying, why would the SIA want to kidnap Chloe?"
"I don't know why, but my guess is because she had the golden key plus her father is an Elite Root member of Yggdrasil" Condoriano replies eating his steak.
Uriel looks at him with shocked and makes another question; "How do you know that?"
"I told before you must know what you got yourself in to. I am a businessperson; I know everything that moves around the world. I know about the SIA, Yggdrasil, and The order of the Holy Maiden. I know who you are Charro Negro."
Uriel looks shocked, he drinks from his soda to calm himself, and he looks at Condoriano and asks:
"If you are not the bad guy, then what are your intentions on this situation, why do you want the golden key?"
"I have no specific intentions, I am just bored, in the poker tournament, and many important people will be there from different agencies. I don't want the stupid key, I am already rich, what I want is to have some fun that is all."
Uriel stands up and says; "I see that you are crazy." Condoriano laughs and replies; "Well that makes two of us." Condoriano continues to speak:
"If you are looking for your student, I don't have her, she escaped, and she must be in this city."
"I see, thank you for the information." Uriel begins to leave as Condoriano says:
"Hey kid, you must keep an eye on the people around you, you will experience a betrayal and learned how cruel this world can be. Good Luck I hope we can meet again."
"I HOPE WE NEVER SEE EACHOTHER AGAIN." Uriel says to Coriano who laughs one more time. Codoriano looks at Lenny and says:
"Help the kid out will you, but when the time is right try to kill him, let's see if he is worthy of being Juan's successor."
"Understood boss" Lenny replies as he takes his leave.
Part 2 –Tsubasa's side
Tsubasa, Chloe and Victoria walk down the street in order to get to the stadium where Chloe was about to have her last concert in the country. Following Tsubasa where strange men with dark glasses in a Hawaiian shirt.
"Where is Uriel?" Chloe asks Tsubasa, Tsubasa looks at her and replies:
"He went to check something, he will return in a short while."
"I see, well that's too bad." Chloe replies, she continues to speak:
"Hey Victoria, are you…" Tsubasa and Chloe look around but Victoria disappeared, they see her being taken by force by some men in Hawaiian shirts. Chloe wants to chase her but Tsubasa stops her.
"WHY ARE YOU STOPPING ME?" Chloe exclaims to Tsubasa, and he lowers his head and replies:
"Because my mission is keep you safe, and only you."
The two men carry Victoria, one of them says to her:
"If you cooperate with us, we might let you live."
The two men take her to a van located an empty parking lot; Victoria begins to laugh as begins to free herself saying:
"You are from the SIA, what business do you have with Chloe?"
"How do you know that?" One of the SIA agents asks, Victoria frees herself with manna and kills the two agents in the van. She gets off the van and grabs a pebble; she turns around and says:
"Too bad for you, but you picked the wrong girl to threat." Victoria throws the pebble to the van causing it to explode.
(BBBBBOOOOMMMM)
"Did you have to make a scene Victoria?" Angela says as she appears behind her. Victoria frowns at her. Angela continues to speak:
"We must keep Uriel busy, Darius ordered us to have fun."
"I see well then I want to go first." Victoria says to Angela, she looks at her and replies:
"Alright, but we need to do it before Chloe's concert, I want to go, plus Darius bought us great seats."
Victoria laughs and says; "Alright, we must kill the SIA agents that try to get Chloe, you must move quickly."
"Got it, now go get Uriel." Angela says as she disappears leaving Victoria smiling and thinking:
"I wonder how much pain Uriel can endure."
Tsuabsa walks dragging Chloe who wants to look for Victoria, Chloe tries to break free but Tsubasa stops her pinning her to the ground.
"Listen, this isn't your fault, you must head to your concert."
"I know but Victoria was taken because of me." Chloe says as she cries Tsubasa bites his lip causing him to bleed. Chloe looks up and sees him crying, Tsuabsa continues to speak:
"I understand how you feel, but I got specific orders from you father and Katsumi, I must keep you safe."
Chloe stops struggling and says; "I'm sorry"
"I promise that once you are safe, I will rescue her as well." Tsuabsa says with a smile, he lets go of Chloe who says:
"Promise me then, that Victoria and Angela will be on the front row."
"I promise." Tsubasa replies, suddenly El Muerto appears behind him.
(BBBBOOOOOMMMM)
El Muerto kicks Tsubasa causing him to fly towards a part of the stadium, El Muerto grabs Chloe and using his manna creates ground wave causing the people in the city to panic. El Muerto uses one wave to take Chloe away as she screams:
"TTTTSSSSUUBBAASSSAA HHHEEELLPPP"
"CCCCCHHHLLLOOEEEE" Tsubasa screams at Chloe, El Muerto creates a wave that heads straight to Tsubasa. Uriel appears at the last second and save Tsubasa from the ground wave that crashes in a building.
(CCRRRAAASSSHHHH)
"That was a close one, are you alright?" Uriel asks Tsubasa, Tsubasa begins to cry and screams:
"Senpai, please forgive me, they took Victoria and Chloe, I am FAILURE."
Uriel stands up and begins to walk as he says:
"I know that it is hard, but you can wine later, for now we must rescue Victoria, Angela and Chloe."
Tsuabsa begins to wipe his tears and replies; "Leave it to me Senpai."
Part 3- Johanna's side
Johanna and Katsumi prepare themselves for the poker tournament; the sun begins to hide in the mountains as twilight illuminates the sky. Johanna puts some lipstick as she says:
"So Katsumi, are you happy to see Uriel again?"
Katsumi who was putting eyelash panics saying:
"W-W-What are you talking about, it's not that I missed him or anything."
Johanna laughs and replies; "Keep telling yourself that, but he really likes you." Katsumi begins to blush saying; "Is that true?"
"Of course it is" Johanna lowers her head and touches her chest saying; "I wish he could like me the way he likes you. But that will never happen."
Katsumi puts her hand in Johanna's shoulder; "I'm sure he likes you as well, besides Uriel loves Marjorie so we are second plate to him." Katsumi looks at the mirror and continues to speak; "But I will not be defeated by her or you." Johanna laughs with her and replies; "We will just see about that."
Johanna is wearing a dark blue long dress with high heels; she has blue long gloves as well with curly hair. Katsumi is wearing her short black dress; high heels and her loosened hair. They begin to walk out ready to begin the tournament that was going to be held in the Casino located in the "Great Bay Hotel" located next to the Stadium that Chloe was about to perform that same night.
Meanwhile Condoriano, the SIA special director Watson, the Duke of the European country Von Eischven head to the Casino as well. Uriel andTsubasa chase El Muerto who had Chloe with him. El Muerto uses a ground wave to jump on top of a building. Uriel uses his wind for him to jump high with Tsubasa on his side.
At that momentLenny appears in front of both of El Muerto and kicks him taking Chloe with him. In the top of the "Great Bay Hotel" he lands with Chloe with Tsuabsa and Uriel next to him.
"I will take care of El Muerto, Senpai" Tsuabsa says as he changes into his esper suit and charges towards El Muerto. Lenny puts Chloe down, looking at Uriel he says:
"Hey kid, if you can beat me in one on one fight, I will let Chloe go."
Uriel changes into his partial Charro form and he prepares to fight Lenny with Chloe being their witness.
"Bring it on, this time I will beat you."
The moon comes out as Uriel and Lenny prepare to fight one more time.
