Vol. 8 - Chapter 10: The White Witch´s Heart

Part 1 – Baker Mountain; 100 years before

(BBBOOOOMMM)

A large dust cloud forms as someone crashes into the ground, as the dust cloud clears, the chief of the tribe lies in the ground, a man walks towards him wearing a mariachi attire and points a sword to the chief saying:

"Give up, I win."

The chief laugh; "You sure did, welcome to the Sasquatch tribe." The man with the mariachi attire laughs and hugs the chief.

A few days later, the man with the mariachi attire gives something to the chief. They stand in the tallest hill inside the mountain as both of them see the houses below them. A brown box, containing the heart of the white witch. The leader looks shocked and asks:

"What is this, a heart, why is it still beating?"

"That is the heart of a very unfortunate woman, the White Witch Alexandria, a few weeks ago, a pastor from the Puritan Defense, a saint from the Order of the Divine Cross and me took her down."

The chief holds the box and asks; "Why do you want us to keep it?"

"I trust you, plus I know that the day will come that my successor will come to get that heart, he must prove to be worthy to be part of the tribe. This heart can mean the end of the world if it returns to Alexandria but I will not doubt that my successor will make the right choice." The man with the Mariachi attire replies with a smile, he begins to walk away waving at him saying;

"Good bye my friend, this will be the last time we meet, please take care of that treasure."

The chief begins to cry and replies; "Leave it to me, we of the Sasquatch tribe will always keep it safe, until your successor arrives."

Part 2 – Present day; Uriel's mind.

(BADUMP, BADUMP, BADUMP)

Uriel floats once again in a field of darkness, he does not see anything or hear anything, only the beat of is heart. Uriel begins to think:

"I see, so I must decide what to do with the heart. Why are things too complicated?"

"You who are the successor, please, listen to my plea. Return the heart to me" Uriel heard a voice calling from behind. He turns around and sees a blurry white figure floating behind him. Uriel half closes his eyes to try to get a better view but he does not seem to see very well either. Uriel decides to ask:

"Who are you? Why did you help me?"

The spirit does not say a word, it only stands there, Uriel asks again:

"Who are you? Answer me"

However, the spirit begins to disappear as Uriel tries to get close, the spirit says before vanishing:

"We will meet again, Successor"

Part 3 – Inside the mountain

Uriel wakes up from the dream, he feels heavy from his chest as he says:

"My body hurts so bad, is this an effect from the fight."

He uncovers his sheets and sees Samantha who is sleeping with him. Uriel sighs with his eyes close and thinks:

"I kind feel bad that I have gotten used to this, maybe I really am a pervert."

Samantha wakes up and raises her body revealing herself naked. Uriel blushes and turns around asking:

"Samantha where are we?"

Samantha rubs her eyes, sees Uriel awake, and hugs him crying:

"Ichabod you're awake, thank goodness I thought you really were going to die."

Uriel pats her head and replies; "It will take more than that to kill me." Uriel looks around on what it appears to be a shack; he looks at his body who is covered in bandages. He looks at Samantha and asks:

"What happened to me after the battle?"

"You defeated Big Foot, but you collapsed, that was two days ago." Samantha replies, as she gets dressed, Uriel decides to get dressed as well; he stands up and says:

"I see, so how is Big Foot."

"HEY THERE BROTHER, I SEE YOU ARE AWAKE." Big Foot opens the door with a smile; he hugs Uriel with great force causing him to scream:

"AAAHHHHH"

"Oops my bad, I'm sorry, glad to see you're doing well." Big Foot says as he laughs, Uriel stretches his muscles and replies:

"I am thank you."

"That's good to here, now let's begin the ritual." Big Foot says to Uriel who looks confused and asks:

"What ritual?"

In the tallest hill, Uriel and Samantha are standing covered in bear fur; Big Foot walks forward and begins to scream:

"SASQUATCH, LET'S GIVE A WARM WELCOME TO OUR NEW BOTHER AND SISTER."

Uriel and Samantha wave with their faces full of embarrassment. Big Foot takes out a small cup made of wood and fil it with grape juice made from the grapes found in the village. He makes a total of three cups and gives one to each. He raises his cup and says:

"DRINK IT, AND YOU WILL BE SWORN BRETHERN OF THE SASQUATCH TRIBE."

Uriel and Samantha drink from the cups as people begin to celebrate, for them. A party begins where many foods are served in a giant table made of wood.

"COME ON EAT, DON'T BE SHY" Sasquatch says to both Uriel and Samantha, both of them begin to eat and drink some natural fruit juice. They begin to have fun as the people of the tribe plays music and dances.

"Why are you doing this Big Foot?" Uriel asks him, he smiles and replies:

"Because you defeated me, you earn the right to be part of our tribe, I know that you want the heart but my predecessor said that you needed to earn it."

"I see, well that is good news." Uriel replies, Big Foot looks at Uriel who is looking at Samantha:

"She is a good girl, she cured both you and I in an instant and she has been beside you these past two days. However, she look like she is in pain, I suggest you think about what you are going to do when you have that heart."

Uriel lowers his head and replies:

"Honestly, I don't know what will happen."

After the festivities where over, Big Foot, Uriel and Samantha go to where the statue of Sasquatch was located. Big Foot vows his head and says:

"OH GUARDIAN SPIRIT, BIG FOOT THE BEAST, PLEASE FORGIVE ME FOR TAKING AWAY YOUR TREASURE, BUT THE SUCCESSOR HAS ARRIVED."

The statues eyes begin to glow as Big Foot uses his manna to make the statue release the box, the statue moves and separates its hands in a slow way. The box begins to fall but Big Foot grabs it before it hits the ground.

He stretches his arms offering the box to Uriel, and he begins to say:

"Here is the box that was promised, please take it, oh brother as we are now part of the same tribe."

Uriel smiles and grabs the box saying:

"Thank you for the treasure, and take you for welcoming to your family."

Uriel and Samantha begin to leave the village as Big Foot stretches his hands saying:

"Uriel, remember that you are a part of us now, if danger comes, we will help you and I know that you will help us as well."

Uriel nods in agreement and replies:

"You can count on me."

As they leave the mountain, Samantha looks at Uriel and says:

"Thank you for helping me get the heart back."

"Don't worry, about" Uriel replies, Samantha takes out the sphere and breaks it saying:

"Now I will fulfill our agreement, your friend's heart has return to her body."

In Area 5X , in Johanna's room the machine begins to go crazy as Johanna opens her eyes once again returning to normal.
