Vol. 7 - Chapter 10: A Normal Date

Part 1- Rio Grande City

During the events happening on Angel City, the Ministry of San was having a normal day. Maria trains Mariana and Abril controlling manna, Sister Griselda watches over Sister Carolina who is still unconscious. In the hills Fabiola trains with Daniel and Valerie.

(BBBBBOOOOOMMMM)

"GGYYYAAAA" Fabiola screams as she is blown away by one of Daniel´s attacks. Valerie is sitting in a large rock finishing speaking to Uriel, she begins to think out loud:

"HH-MMM I wonder why Uriel was asked me about Chloe Diamont. I did not know he liked that stuff, he is such a pervert." Valerie laughs as a small manna ball heads towards her, Valerie catches it and makes it disappear saying:

"Ha-ha very funny Daniel."

Daniel walks towards and asks: "So how is Uriel?" Valerie smiles and answers:

"Uriel is fine; he is now at Angel City with Johanna, but he asked me about Chloe Diamont, very strange"

"Uriel is such a pervert." Daniel says as he chuckles, Fabiola runs and asks with excitement:

"So Uriel is doing great?"

"That's right and he is asked how you were." Valerie replies, Fabiola´s heart "comes out " of excitement. Valerie laughs as she stands up and begins to walk away saying:

"Well guys, I´m off because I have a date tonight, take care." Daniel looks at Fabiola who was in the ground with heart eyes as he asks:

"Are you okay?"

Part 2 – Sun City

Two hours later Alejandro stands in the entrance of Sun City mall; he is wearing a blue buttoned shirt with long sleeves, some black jeans and some shoes. He looks at the clock thinking:

"Did I arrive too early; maybe getting one hour early was a bad idea."

"Alejandro" Alejandro hears his name and turns to see who it was. His face turns red as he sees a beautiful approaching to his side. It was Valerie who was wearing a short black skirt, a red buttoned shirt with a black tie. She has long black socks that go up her knee and some shoes. She has red ribbon in her hair.

"So how do I look?" Valerie asks Alejandro who is speechless; Alejandro only hears his heart pounding.

(BADUMP, BADUMP, BADUMP, BADUMP)

Valerie puts a sad face a she asks; "Do I look weird?"

Alejandro punches himself and says:

"N-N-No you look great, I´m sorry I just got surprised." Valerie smiles at him and grabs hi arm pulling him saying:

"Well let´s go and start our date."

Valerie and Alejandro decide to go on the date in Sun City mall. First they decide to go to the movies to watch the latest superhero movie; Valerie is an overexcited girl who screams at the movie all the times.

"YES, PUNCH HIM YOU NEED TO WIN!" Valerie screams at the causing everyone to yell; "SHUT UP!"

Valerie turns and puts a cute face saying: "I´m sorry will you forgive me."

"YEEEESSS, WE FORGIVE YOU!" The crowd screams with "heart-shaped" eyes. Alejandro only smiles at her thinking:

"Damn she´s so damn cute."

After finishing the movie, they decide to go to the arcade, Valerie is really good at videogames, in a videogame tournament she wins first prize by beating a 30 year-old guy with glasses. Everybody is shocked to see her win, she runs to where Alejandro was and says:

"LOOK,LOOK I WON!" Alenjandro looks surprised and says; "You sure did, I never knew that you were that good."

"Well I did grow up with two brothers who love videogames, so this was a piece of cake."

In the electric crane Alejandro winds a giant bear by knocking the pins down with a ball, Valerie is really happy to have the bear.

Next they go to a photo booth where they take some funny pictures, Valerie and Alejandro have a great time in the arcade. As they walk down the mall, everybody looks at them, Valerie smiling with her huge stuffed bear and Alejandro blushing because they have so much attention. He hears stuff like:

"That girl is so cute, she must be an idol, and she can even rival Chloe Diamont"

Alejandro sighs and thinks: "Maybe I am not good enough for her." Valerie looks at Alejandro and pulls him inside a restaurant. They decide to eat hamburgers; Alejandro orders a double bacon and cheese burger. Valerie orders a triple bacon and cheese burger with a milk shake. Valerie likes to eat as much as Uriel and Daniel that they often have competitions to see who the fastest eater is.

"Are you okay? You look down Alejandro?" Valerie asks Alejandro, he is looking at his hamburger and returns to his senses saying:

"No it´s nothing" Alejandro lowers his head and continues to speak:

"It´s just, why did you agree to go out with me?"

Valerie eats a French fry and answers: "Because you are cute silly."

Alejandro blushes and begins to eat his hamburger fast, Valerie smiles and begins to think about her conversation with Daniel.

Part 3 – 2 weeks ago- hills behind the ministry.

"Listen Valerie, I think El Muerto and Uriel´s students are connected." Daniel says to Valerie as they drink water resting from training. Valerie looks at him and asks:

"What makes you say that?"

"Think about it, El Muerto appeared where Uriel was located but he also appeared and attack out mother, there is something that bothers me and that is the students." Daniel replies as he drinks from his bottle, Valerie looks at the battle and replies:

"So who do you think is El Muerto?"

"For starters Aleister, but I know he is not working alone, he must have accomplices. Valerie our brother is a naïve idiot with a kind heart, he will never suspect his students and you know that." Daniel says as he stands up. Valerie stands as well and says:

"I know that, so how are we going to help him?"

"Easy, let's investigate them; we will begin with Alejandro and Marjorie because they are the closest to Uriel." Daniel replies, he begins to walk and continues to speak:

"You will investigate Alejandro, and I will investigate Marjorie."

"I see, well leave Alejandro to me." Valerie replies with a determined face, Daniel smiles and says:

"Well then, let´s continue to train."

Part 4 – Restaurant

Valerie with a serious face asks: "Alejandro you know about my brother´s powers right?"

Alejandro looks at Valerie with shock; he lowers his head and replies:

"Yes I know, he fought Quetzalcoatl, he was amazing."

"So tell me what your intentions towards my brother are?" Valerie asks with a serious tone. Alejandro looks at her genuine expression and asks:

"You think I have some connections with El Muero right?"

"To be honest, yes I want to know the truth." Valerie replies, Alejandro puts a side face:

"So this date was to investigate me?"

"Yes, I want to know if I can trust you." Valerie begins to release a purple aura giving Alejandro some chills in his back. Alejandro grabs her hand and with a sincere expression he says:

"I swear to you that I am not connected with him, in fact I hate him for attacking my teacher, I promise you that I won't hurt you or your family, instead let me help you, I know it is Aleister."

Valerie blushes and let's go of Alejandro; she holds her arm looking down as her heart increases.

(BADUMP, BADUMP, BADUMP)

She puts a sincere smile at Alejandro and says:

"My brother trusts you, and I am going to trust you as well."

Valerie and Alejandro smile at each other and continue to eat. Meanwhile outside of the restaurant, Alberto looks at Valerie, he laughs and says:

"Today is my lucky day"
