Vol. 4 - Chapter 9 : A Mexican Story.
Part 1- In the top of a temple located in Tenochtitlan
El Muerto stands in a cell where the six students are unconscious with Doctor Escobar.
(RRRAAAAWWWWW)
Quetzalcoatl roars as it is being chained in a special wall. El Muerto looks at it and says:
"So this is what happens when God corrupts himself with anger."
El Muerto extends his arm and says: "Now come on out Ahide"
"Separareasu fletului" (Translates: Soul Separation)
Ahide begins to emerge from the center of the God. He falls to the ground and Quetzalcoatl turns into a black snake. Ahide wakes up and says:
"Where is Xochitl?"
"She has been taken hostage, but don't worry I will get her for you. For now I want to know what exactly happened to you siblings and Quetzalcoatl."
"I will tell you" Ahide says as he sits down ready to tell the story.
Part 2 – 500 years before: In a Temple
"Hurry mother" Xochitl and Ahide scream as they go up to the temple. In the interior of the temple they encounter with the wall painting of 5 Aztec Deities: Quetzalcoatl the Feathered Serpent, Tezcatlipoca the Black Jaguar, Huitzilopochtli the Green Hummingbird, Tlaloc the Blue Rain Xlamander and Xipototec the Orange Guadian Dog .
Their mother was putting offerings to the Gods. Xochitl looks at her mother and says:
"Mother why do we give offering to the Gods?"
"Well you see, we give them offerings and they protect us." Her Mother answers them.
"I see but why we can't see them?" Ahide asks her. She smiles and rubs his head saying:
"Well you see they will always protect us even if can't see them, they are always watching over us"
Part 3 – 500 years before - Later that night:
"AHHHHHH" Ahide hears screams coming from outside. He opens his eyes and sees a red light coming from the outside. Xochitl is looking outside with tears in her eyes.
"Xochitl what´s going on?" Ahide asks her but she is too frightened to answer. Xochitl answers with a low tone.
"The capital is on fire " Ahide looks at the door and sees the great pyramid of Tenochtitlan on fire along with the capital. Their house is located in the outskirts. Ahide and Xochitl run as fast as they can as they see men in horses killing their fellow natives.
"Where is our mother?" Xochitl asks Ahide as they run for their lives. They encounter a fellow Aztec native however his eyes are red color. He picks up his sword trying to slash the siblings but they dodge them. The killing continues as Ahide and Xochitl run hiding from the men in horses. "We need to head to the temple Xochitl" Ahide says as they run to the temple.
When they arrive at the temple they see their mother with the Emperor of the Aztec tribe. The guy who names himself Cortes and two other men with red and green eyes. Suddenly the Five Gods Emerge from the Temple as Cortes says:
"Son Verdaderos, esos Dioses existen!!!" (Translates: They are real, those Gods do exist.)
"RUN AWAY CHILDREN" Their mother screams with tears in her eyes. Suddenly the Red eye man in armor walks towards the children and draws out his GUN and says: "Run or I´ll kill you!"
Xochitl begins to cry calling out for her mother. Ahide steps in front to protect her sister, the man is about to swing his sword when suddenly Quetzalcoatl releases an attack to prevent it from happening. Suddenly the temple begins to collapse Ahide and Xochitl begin to fall, however before they fall they see their mother smiling as she says:
"I LOVE YOU!"
(BOOOOMMMM)
The temple collapses, at that night the Aztec Empire fell by the hands of the Conquistador named Cortes.
(DRIP,DRIP,DROP,DROP)
Rain begins to fall waking Ahide and Xochitl who survived the night thanks to a pillar who covered them. They walk slowly seeing all the destruction, they hide from the other conquistadores in search of their mother. Soon they see a small green snake and a black cat walking as they bleed.
"Help us!" The snake says to them. Ahide picks the serpent and the cat and go to their home. The serpent and the cat explain the situation to the children. The children begin to cry as they learn about their mother's death. They decide to protect them being their guardians.
A few HOURS later they encounter with a red haired woman. The woman covers her eyes, she has a classy outfit consisted of a long DRESS, with sleeves, worn over a underdress. The sleeves were made detachable and were heavily ornamented. The long-waisted silhouette was replaced by a high-waisted style with fullness over the belly, often confined by a belt.
"It looks like two survive what a surprise." The woman says smiling.
"RUN AWAY SHE IS THE RED WITCH" The black cat says to the children as they begin to the run the woman chants: "sigillum sueno" (Slumber seal)
A red light shines sealing the four of them into four separate crystals.
"That should do it, now sleep that you will be needed again in the future" The Red Witch says as she walks down the path towards a Volcano.
Part 4- 500 years later, 8 months ago in the Lunar Eclipse Night
(BOOOOMM)
The crystals break releasing their souls. "Where are we?" Ahide and Xochitl ask the Deities. The two deities are speechless as they see the temple they were was full of spider webs and lost its color.
"This can´t be, we have been sealed for 500 years." Quetzalcoatl says to Tezcatlipoca.
Xochitl begins to cry with Ahide. The deities see them and say:
"Don´t worry children we will protect you."
"Thank you" The two children say happy.
They decided to live together. However no one understood their language so they could not get any help, they live with eating fish and plants the Deities gave them. Until the fateful day they encounter the old woman Bella who offer to help them.
"The Golden City will be revealed soon Gods, your siblings are located there." Bella says to the deities causing them happiness to learn they are alright.
"We will free them" The deities say to the siblings who agree to help them.
El Muerto begins to walk away and says:
"What an interesting story, but I need your help where is the Golden City located."
"In a volcano not to far away" Ahide says to El Muerto who he replies:
"Excellent, I will go get you sister." He opens a portal and disappears.
"Xochitl I hope you are okay." Ahide says looking at the stars.
Xochitl who is also looking at the stars says: "Ahide, Uriel please be okay"
