Vol. 4 - Chapter 1: Arriving in Mexico

Part 1- Ministry of San Juan

"Hurry up Valerie or your dinner is going to get cold." Daniel says to Valerie as they walk down the street going to the Ministry. Valerie frowns and says:

"Ay hermano, you are going too fast"

Daniel smile at Valerie and says: "Okay I wil slow down, like Uriel always say to me that I must protect you."

Valerie hugs Daniel and says: "Aww you're so sweet."

"Shut up and hurry" Daniel says blushing of embarrassment.

In the ministry Maria and Carolina are cooking. Carolina serves a plate of rice and says:

"I'm worried about Uriel, at which time will he arrive at the capital?"

"In exactly one hour Carolina, don't worry Uriel is strong. He can take care of himself." Maria says with a worried face.

"You know Carolina, do the guardian deities still watch over the city?" Maria asks Carolina who looks at the plate and replies:

"I don't know, there was a rumor that they disappear. I hope Uriel does not get in trouble." Carolina takes the plate to the table. The three sisters were eating at the table. Mariana asks Fabiola:

"What are the guardian Gods?"

"They are supposed to be deities in the temples. The Aztec venerated them but I don't know much about them."

"I hope Uriel does not get into trouble against those Guardians." Abril says as she eats her rice.

"No, he won't he is not an Idiot, he is a pervert though I hope he controls himself." Valerie says to the sisters making them laugh. Everybody sits in the table and Maria begins to pray:

"Dear God, thank you for the meal this night, please watch over us, and watch over Uriel who is going to a dangerous place. Amen"

"AMEN" everybody replies and they begin to eat their dinner.

Part 2- Mexico City International Airport.

Two weeks have passed since the attack of the Chupacabras. The Study Abroad High school division decided to send their top 12 seniors along with 3 professors, the assistant principal and the nurse to Mexico City. Their objective is to study the ancient city of "Tenochtitlan" located in the middle of "Lake Texcoco." Among the teachers were Uriel, Dr. Ortiz and Dr. Escobar both of them are husband and wife. The assistant principal Katsumi and the nurse Johanna were ordered to go as well. Among the student Marjorie, Angela, Victoria, Raul, Alejandro, and Aleister were among them.

"Finally we have arrived!!" Alejandro screams with excitement causing everyone in the lobby to stare at him.

(Booooommmm)

Victoria punches Alejandro in the head saying:

"Shut up! You´re making a scene Alejandro!"

"D-D-Don´t hit him Victoria. Alejandro is just as excited as all of us, that´s why he is screaming." Angela says with a shy voice.

"That´s right Victoria you should take it easy and Alejandro stop screaming already." Raul says as he walks by reading a book. Victoria blushes and says:

"Alright, just because you ask."

Marjorie and Aleister were walking together out of the lobby. Aleister ever since he saw Marjorie speaking to Uriel has been more quiet and rude to Marjorie. Marjorie looks at some pretty souvenirs and says:

"Wow they are beautiful, look dear don´t they look pretty?"

Aleister only passes by without even looking at Marjorie and replies:

"Hurry up or will be left behind."

Marjorie lowers her head of sadness. Uriel puts his hand on Marjorie´s shoulder and says:

"They are pretty you should bring a souvenir to you father and I will bring one to my mother."

Marjorie blushes and smiles saying: "Thank you." Aleister notices and goes back and pulls Marjories arm telling her to hurry up. Marjorie only looks back worried at Uriel who only smiles at her. However, Uriel feels wrath because of how Aleister treats Marjorie.

"Come on young man it's time to get our luggage." Dr. Ortiz says to Uriel as he smiles with his wife next to him. Dr. Escobar also smiles at Uriel and says:

"We must do our best in this trip right dear." Dr. Ortiz smiles at her nodding, causing Uriel to feel as a third party and replies:

"Yes I must hurry, where is the Assistant Principal?"

"She was feeling sick, so Nurse Gomez took her to the restroom." Dr. Escobar replies as she and Dr. Ortiz continue to walk to get their luggage.

Dr. Andres Ortiz is a famous professor in Mexico who dedicates his life to study the ancient history of the Aztecs. He is 45 years old, has white skin and brown hair. He has hazel colored eyes and wears glasses. He married Dr. Escobar 25 years ago.

Dr. Rosanna Escobar is also a famous professor in Mexico who dedicates her life in mythological studies in Central America. She has dark greenish hair, brown eyes, white skin, and she also wears glasses. Both of them are temporality working in the borderland and have decided to come here to teach the students about the history.

Katsumi comes out of the restroom with Johanna laughing at her saying:

"I told you not to eat airplane food that is poisonous."

"I know, but it was so good." Katsumi replies with her face green of sickness and goes to throw up in the garbage can.

"Hey Katsumi and nurse Gomez I will go get you bags okay, please just go to the bus." Uriel says to both of them. Johanna smiles and replies:

"That´s so sweet Uriel, please call me Johanna, and thank you I will handle her."

Uriel nods and heads to the luggage department. Katsumi looks at Johanna frowning, Johanna smiles and says:

"If you don´t make a move, I will get him first."

After all the students got their luggage, they headed to a bus that would take them to their hotel. As they got into the bus each of them sat in pairs. The only one without a pair was Uriel who sat in the back looking on the behavior of the students. In total there were 12 students going to them. As they went to Mexico the students were surprised to see the large buildings and modern streets in the city. They passed through countless houses, stores and parks. They soon left the urban area and headed to the place where they would be staying. The hotel was a modern building located in the middle of a lake with a large bridge connecting them.

Uriel was looking outside as it was getting dark; he sees the silhouette of what it appears to be women dressed in white standing in the tree. Uriel blinks and sees again but the woman was gone, making him doubt what he just saw.

Part 3- A small House near a pyramid.

Around the same time as night began to fall, there was a small house located at the bottom of the temple. The house was very poor, there was no door or windows, the roofs had large holes. The sky begins to fill itself with clouds and thunder begins to be heard.

"Xochitl, it's going to rain, finish your meal and open your umbrella." A silhouette of a boy says as he stands in the door.

"Alright I will Adihe." The silhouette of Xochitl says as she drinks from a broken bowl. A small serpent arrives at the house with a small cat.

"It looks like someone evil has arrived in this place." The serpent says telepathically to Adihe. The small cat goes to Xochitl and says:

"We must be careful; it looks like he has the same aura as the one who killed your mother."

Ahide makes a fist and says: "We will avenge our mother."

Lightning strikes down illuminating the house reveling how the siblings look like. Ahide is an average height boy who looks like the age of 10 years; he has blue hair, yellow eyes and brown skin. He is wearing a blue sweater with black shorts and sandals.

Xochitl looks like a small girl with apparently 8 years old; she has long blue hair with pink eyes and brown skin. She is wearing a small brown dress with some decorations and sandals.

Rain begins to pour down as Xochitl opens the umbrella, Ahide sits next to Xochitl and hugs her. Xochitl begins to cry and says:

"I miss my mother." Ahide looks up and says: "I miss her too."

The serpent and the cat sit next to them as rain continues to fall.
