Vol. 14 - Chapter 4: Raions Miyazono vs. Darius Lucifugus

Part 1 – Various Locations

In the Ministry of San Juan a ferocious battle continues, Valerie and Daniel vs. Melissa:

(BBBOOOMM)

Melissa hits Valerie causing her to fall to the ground; Daniel uses his sphere and creates manna rays trying to hit her, Melissa create a water sphere protecting herself. Daniel breathes heavily as he thinks:

"I´m reaching my limit here and it looks like Valerie is too. If this drags on any longer, Melissa will…"

"What´s the matter, don't tell me you two are tired already?" Melissa laughs as she gathers more manna. Daniel begins to smile and replies:

"Nah, we are just going easy on you, that´s all."

"You´re just bluffing and that´s obvious, you have reached your limit. That´s normal, you are human after all, but I...Am… a Demon King" Melissa begins to release even more manna causing the wind to blow harder, Maria and Griselda watch that power and begin to sweat.

"She can use more manna, even after having fought all of us? She really is a Demon." Carolina falls into her knees, Griselda begins to think:

"Should I release my Divine Form here? But that will kill everyone else as well, but I have no choice."

Valerie walks to Daniel´s side as she looks tired; "Hey brother, I think I reached my limit, there is nothing we can do right?"

"Don´t worry sister, I have an ace up my sleeve, don't worry, everything will be fine." Daniel makes a confident smile; he looks at Melissa who is charging up manna creating a giant ball of water. "NOW THEN, YOU WILL DIE HERE…"

Enough Melissa, come back to the base immediately, we need your powers now.

Melissa stops her attack and looks up; "Aww, not now, I am about to finish them."

Melissa, this is a direct order now.

"Very well, as you wish Master Aleister." A portal opens up; Melissa begins to fly to the portal as she looks at them saying:

"You were lucky; God has not abandoned you, Good bye Fabiola, until we meet again." Everyone in the Ministry breath calmly as Daniel says; "Damn Aleister, I guess I must thank him that next time I see him."

In a Base 5 km away from the Borderland, in an underground base, Sabia Regueli stays there. A portal opens and the three members arrive, Angela and Victoria look frightened, but Raul is unconscious and covered in blood.

"That was a close one, Thank you Aleister." Angela says a she lies down, Victoria cries; "Wahh I was so scared, I thought I was about to die."

"You did great, well don't feel bad, Allan Carter is a Zodiac Root after all, his power is beyond imagination." Aleister replies as he looks at Raul, Marjorie gives a warm beverage to the girls, she now has blue eyes and says:

"Here you go, I am glad that you are alive."

"So you are the good Marjorie now? Man, you are so bipolar." Angela says as she drinks from her cup. Marjorie does not respond and heads towards Raul, she begins to heal his wound slowly. A portal opens, Melissa appears back to her original form, she looks at Aleister and says:

"Hey Master, why did you call me for? I was having so much fun."

"I know Melissa, but its better for us to stay away for now, you see, my father is going to fight against one of the Zodiac Roots." Aleister points at a crystal ball created by Alexandria, Melissa looks at it and says; "Wait that is the Lion King, is your father going to be alright?"

Aleister chuckles and replies; "Don't worry, father is going to be just fine, he is the Tenth Hour after all."

Part 2 –International Bank

Raions and Darius stare at each other; Darius takes out a small sphere and says:

"Before we begin, do you mind if I try out this new artifact? It was a gift from my organization and I promised them that I would test it out. So what do you say?"

"Sure, use whatever method you want, its not going to change the fact that I will defeat you."

(CLICK)

"Very well, I shall begin." Darius clicks at the orb, the orb begins to expand covering Darius´ body completely forming a silver armor, and it has a helmet that protects Darius, a very advance armor that makes him look like a robot, his eyes glow into a yellow color. Darius begins to move his arms and legs as he says:

"It's very comfortable, almost as if it was part of my body. Do you like it? It´s called armură de dragon" (Dragon´s armor)

"HAHAHA, do you really plan to fight me with that?" Raions points at Darius, Darius nods in agreement, Raions reveals his crest and says:

"Very well, Activate: Raionkingu, Leo; Parcial." (Lion King) Raions begins to release an enormous amount of manna; the manna covers the whole area in a light orange color. The left part of his body begins to cover itself into orange and red veins. His left hand begins to take shape of claws.

With great speed, Raions disappears from Darius´ sight and appears behind him; "Prepare yourself, I am the Lion King."

(BBBBOOOOMMM)

Raions punches Darius with his right arm, Darius blocks the punch. Suddenly the glasses of the windows shatter, the roof and the floor expand creating a crater. Raions smiles and says:

"You blocked my right fist, impressive, but…how about the left…."

(BOOM, BOOM, BOOM)

Raions punches Darius sending him flying towards the north east part. Darius in his armor passes through 4 tall buildings destroying them completely. He flies towards the residential area located, Darius as he flies thinks:

"The Zodiac Roots are indeed strong, but I´d say that this punch…"

(SWWIISSHH)

Raions appears on top of the Darius, "This isn´t over." –PUUUUMMMM- Raions punches Darius´s stomach with great force causing him to fall towards the residential area. Darius lands in a part located in the middle of a neighborhood.

(CCCRRRAAASSHHH)

The force of the fall creates a massive crater destroying the houses and buildings surrounding the area. Raions lands next to Darius, with a confident expression he smiles and says:

"PREPARE YOURSELF."

Darius tries to react but Raions hits Darius sending him flying once more passing through many houses. –PUM,PUM,PUM- Darius stops in a kitchen of an abandoned house, he stands up, he looks at his armor and chuckles:

"Not a scratch, it appears this armor can withstand the attack of a partial transformation."

Raions makes a hand sign consisting of two fingers up and two down, he closes his eyes and concentrates manna as he chants:

"Raion no furasshu" (Lion´s flash)

Darius hears the noise of thunder, he begins to think:

"Is it going to rain?"

(BBBBBBOOOOMMM)

An orange lighting volt hits the house destroying it completely; Darius remains intact as he walks forward. "Manna level matched armor ready to counterattack." The armor gives speaks as Darius says; "Excellent"

Raions charges forward and punches Darius one more time.-PPUUUMMM- This time Darius blocks Raion´s attack by grabbing his fist, -TCH- "You block my punch ehh."

"That´s right, my armor got accustomed to this level of power that you emit, now let me show you the same amount of force that you hit me." Darius punches Raion´s head causing him to fly away.

(BOOM, BOOM,BOOM)

Raions passes through multiple houses, he continues to pass through them until he hits a pillar of a bridge, and passes through the bridge reaching to its top.

(CCCRRAASSHHH)

Raions lands at the bridge, he stands up and feels something warm coming from his forehead. He touches his head and sees blood coming out. He begins to laugh hard as Darius arrives to the bridge using the armor´s power.

"EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT, THIS IS WHAT I WANTED. A REAL CHALLENGE!"

Raions undoes his partial form; he smiles and looks at Darius:

"Darius Lucifugus, you are worthy opponent, now I won't hold back anymore."

"Activate Raionkingu, Leo; Complete." (Lion King)Raions releases and enormous of manna, he begins to change into his esper suit. He wears a black shirt with orange veins; he has a dark orange vest. He also has a black military pants with black military boots. He wears a pair of black gauntlets, and orange veins spread to his neck and face.

"Raions Niisama, he is fighting over there, his manna is immense" Katsumi says as she and Shion look towards the direction that Raions was. Shion trembles as she falls into her knees saying:

"This power is terrifying, is this, the power of a Zodiac Root?"

"That´s right, the power of Leo, the Lion King. My brother is the next head of the Miyazono family, but what surprises me more is his blood lust." Shion looks at Katsumi who is shaking more than Shion who looks worried and thinks; "Katsumi Senpai"

Rizu looks at the dome; she puts an excited smile and says:

"That´s my Senpai´s power, this is incredible."

"Indeed, Raions has such powerful manna, I believe he stop this war, however, his opponent is Darius." Director Inoue says to Allan, Allan looks at a vehicle approaching, Heidi come out and runs to hug Allan saying:

"Allan, I glad you´re safe, I successfully retrieve both of them, they are in serious condition but they are alive."

"That´s good, thank you dear, now then we must wait until Raions finishes this and see if they are survivors." Heidi feels the power of Raions coming out as she says:

"What powerful manna she has, that guy brings me chills down my spine."

Allan nods and comments; "I agree but something is not right, I feel something is wrong."

In the bridge, Raions takes a battle stance, manna in the form of lightning come out destroying parts of the pavement. Darius begins to whisper:

"Increase defense into 100%, and speed to 100% as well."

Speed and Defense increased, preparing for impact.

Darius charges and punches Raions in the face, massive wind blows causing parts of the bridge to crack. Raions doesn't have scratch on him, "What was that? It felt as a poke."

Darius begins to charge manna in his boots as he says; "Prepare evasive maneuvers."

Evasive Maneuvers activated!

Darius escapes with great speed through the highway, Raions turns around and laughs:

"So you want to play ehh, well then, I´m it."

(BBBBOOOMMM)

Raions charges and begins to run destroying part of the bridge. Darius goes down the highway as he receives a warning:

Warning, enemy approaching, in 5 seconds.

Raions runs in four legs like a lion and catches up to Darius, Darius increases the power trying to escape however Raions matches Darius speed. "YOU CAN´T ESCAPE FROM ME DARIUS!"

Raions kicks Darius and sends him to the sky once more, Raions jumps into the sky and charges manna in his right leg and chants:

"Raion no kaminari kuku" (Lion´s Thunder Kick)

(CCRRAASSHHH)

Raions sends Darius towards the "Spaghetti Bowl" which consists of several bridges forming together on top another. Darius passes through three bridges, Raions charges manna in his legs and catapult himself straight at Darius.

"Raion no kami no damanku" (Lion´s Divine Barrage)

(BOOM,BOOM,BOOM,BOOM)

Raions releases multiple hits towards Darius, the fist barrage increase releasing lightning, he continues to attack as he laughs hysterically, he finishes the attacks and charges manna in his hands, and he creates a giant ball of orange lightning; "Rakurai hantei" (Lightning Sphere Judgment)

(CCRRRRAASSHH)

The lightning sphere hits Darius causing a massive explosion, lightning spreads to various places destroying buildings and streets.

(BBBBBBBBOOOOOOMMMMMMMM)

"GYYYAAHH, WHY IS THERE LIGHTNING HITTING EVERYWHERE, ITS NOT EVEN RAINING" Shion screams as she covers her ears, Katsumi makes a barrier as she says:

"That´s my brother´s true power, you see Leo has the ability to manipulate lightning manna, Niisama can create lighting at will, that´s why he is super fast and precise."

Raions lands in a crater, he walks forward and with no sign of Darius he says:

"Well I guess I over did it, I annihilated Darius by accident. Oh well…"

"That was splendid; no wonder you are the Lion King, wonderful." Darius stands up, he has cracks in his armor as he gets himself straight, the armor begins to say:

Analysis complete, armor adapted to the environmental energy, preparing for counterattack

"Excellent." Darius says as he begins to release a small amount of manna, leaving Raions confused.
