Vol. 14 - Chapter 13: Sharur; The Smasher of Thousands

"Let me go you idiot, what are you doing?" Darius struggles trying to break free then Roberto replies:"As the head of the Family I must protect them. You are in a thread so we are both going you bastard."

Roberto focuses every particle of manna energy on his chest and screams:

"EXPLOSION DIVINA DEL LOBO SOLITARIO"

"NOOOOOO!!!!!" Darius screams with all his might.

"FROM THAT DAY I SWORE I WOULD GET MY REVENGE"

A bright light begins to shine in Roberto and the light extends to the whole area. Suddenly a beam of energy shoots to the sky and expands to the whole base destroying the barrier and everything around it.

Allan and Uriel stand in front of Darius, Uriel looks at Allan and asks:

"Hey are you okay, you look more tired than before."

Allan turns around and smiles; "Its because yesterday I was attacked by your students and they made me breathe a poison gas that nullifies manna, you could say that I´m in my 50% right now."

"I see, then I´ll attack first, just cover me okay." Uriel charges first, Allan charges as well saying; "Sorry but I´m going too."

Darius opens his wings and flies towards both of them, Uriel prepares his right fist, Allan his left. Darius attacks with his left fist.

(BBBBBOOOMMM)

The three of them clash their fist causing an enormous shock way, Uriel and Allan begin to attack Darius simultaneously throwing punches and kicks. Allan uses his power and makes his fist heavier. Darius notices and evades Allan´s attacks; he grabs Allan´s feet and throws him away. Uriel is about to punch Darius but Darius creates a portal disappears.

"Where did he go, where will he attack. Left, right, behind, below, or above?" Uriel takes a deep breath; "Concentrate on his rhythm, he must appear from somewhere. –BADUMP,BADUMP- Uriel hears heart beating faster, he begins to hear the sound of a guitar string.

"He´s behind me." Uriel opens his eyes and with the help of the wind, Uriel escapes Darius punch. Uriel takes out his pistol and chants;

"La Rosa" (The Rose)

(PIU,PIU)

Uriel fires two bullets that take the shape of roses, Darius swigs his wings and make them explode suddeny multiple bullets come out of the smokescreen and begin to connect with Darius. Uriel fires nonstop trying to take Darius down. However, Darius charges at Uriel and taking the bullets directly.

(CCRRAASSHHH)

Two buildings hit Darius with force provoking wind to blow nonstop. Uriel looks at his side and sees Allan breathing heavily with his hands together. Uriel with great speed stands next to Allan.

(BBBBOOOOMMM)

Darius flies to the sky, Allan puts his right arm to the ground and creates a silver magic circle as he chants; "Gravitational Judgment, Guilty Cortex" Suddenly, pieces of earth begin to emerge from the ground and head straight towards Darius.

Darius begins to fly evading the attack; Allan puts one arm on top and the other at the bottom and puts them together. Without warning, two giant boulders hit Darius from the above and bottom causing a great explosion.

(CCRRRAASSHHHH)

Darius begins to fall, Uriel jumps using his wind, he takes out his sword and chants;

"Cancion del viento; Quinta estrofa, Tifon" (Wind song; Fifth Stanza, Typhoon)

(BBBBOOOOMMM)

Uriel swings his sword and massive winds surround Darius forcing him to the ground creating a huge crater. Wind continues to blow as Allan puts both hands on the ground, the rocks form a giant boulder and crashes straight at Darius, causing the earth to shake.

Uriel lands next to Allan as he thinks; "This guy says that he is using half of its power and yet do all this? This guy sure is strong."

(BBBBOOOOOMMMM)

A pillar of purple manna emerges to the sky, Darius stands with cracks in his body and blood coming out of his mouth. He begins to laugh; "You kids sure are something, to the point of pushing this hard and into this form. You have my thanks for keeping me entertained."

"Darius Lucifugus, for your act and crimes you did in these cities, you will be judge." Allan puts both hands in to ground, suddenly a giant compass forms with Darius in the center. "What´s going on, I can't move my body" Darius tries to move but he is completely paralyzed.

"What´s happening Allan?" Uriel with a confused expression asks Allan, Allan stops Uriel as he says:

"Don´t move, if you move you will also be cut in the judgment."

The compass has a star with eight cardinal points. Allan begins to chant;

"Oh mighty scale, mother earth and father time, I your child will leave this judgment to you. The man present in the center is named Darius Lucifugus, his crimes will not be forgiven, I Allan Carter, the judge of Fate will proceed to this punishment."

The circle begins to shine bright silver color; the compass begins to spin as Darius´soul begins to leave his body. Allan begins to explain; "Your soul will be judged by the two spirits of nature."

Suddenly, on the left side the spirit of a giant woman with a green dress appears, the dress has vines coming out her dress and a crown made of leaves, she has green eyes and a staff with leaves similar to a tree. The right side spirit of a man with a long beard appears, the man has a long staff with a clock in the tip, an hourglass in his neck and blue eyes.

Uriel is amazed by them and asks; "Are those…"

"That´s right, their Mother Nature and Father Time, the spirits of reality that pass judgment to those like Darius. I have the power to summon every God or Spirit who pass down judgment. Now then Darius time for you to repent your sins." Allan lifts his hands and puts them together like he is praying as he chants:

"NOW BEGONE, LUMINOUS JUDGMENT!"

Darius smiles, suddenly multiple lighting volts begin to hit the ground destroying the circle. A lightning volt heads towards Allan, Uriel notices and pushes him away causing him to break his technique.

The spirits disappear with Darius´soul returning to his body. Darius breathes heavily as he says:

"That was a close one; I really thought I was going to die."

Allan breathes heavily and asks; "What´s going on? How did you…" Darius releases a manna ball to the sky, suddenly; the clouds disappear revealing the sharur releasing lightning volts.

"Remember when I told you about the sharur? I told you to not forget about it because I was going to use it but it seems you forgot." Darius smiles as he begins to charge manna in his right hand, "Very well, let's begin with extermination."

Lightning volts begin to fall to the earth; over one hundred volts hit the city and destroy the buildings and the houses everywhere. "GYYYAAHHH" Shion screams as she and Katsumi heal Heidi who was previously wounded. They are under a bridge near the downtown area as they see lighting falling everywhere.

"What´s going on here, I can feel a large amount of manna coming from the sky, and now this." Katsumi looks at the top of the bridge. Heidi comes to her senses and raises her body. "Heidi, are you feeling better?" Shion asks with a worried expression.

Heidi nods in agreement and replies; "I´m feeling better, thank you both of you." Heidi looks at the lightning coming down; she looks terrified and asks;

"What´s going on? Why is lightning coming down of all sudden?"

"We don't know but we need to move fast and help Allan and Uriel who are still fighting Darius."

The lightning stops falling with no sound but the wind that is blowing across the bridge. Heidi, Shion and Katsumi look at each other, Heidi stands up and says;

"Let´s go you two."

(CCCRRRAAASSHHHH)

Suddenly two figures fall into the bridge destroying it completely. Heidi and the two girls jump back, the part of the bridge crumbles down. The dust cloud begins to clear revealing the two figures. The girls run towards screaming:

"AALLLLAANN, UUURRRRIIIEEELLL"

Allan and Uriel lay on the ground with blood coming out of their bodies. Heidi goes to Allan and Katsumi to Uriel. "What happened here? Why are both of them like that?"

"I believe I can answer that young lady." Darius descends from the sky, he is carrying Uriel´s sword as he continues to explain:

"These guys are no match for me."

Heidi stands up and makes her staff appear she charges straight at Darius and both of them clash with their weapons. "Heidi Muller, you know emotions can cost you right? What would you feel if I did this?"

(SSSLLLLAASSHHH)

Darius disappears from Heidi´s sight and slashes Allan with Uriel´s sword. Heidi looks at Allan´s blood and begins to scream:

"AAALLLLAAANNNN"

Heidi begins to release manna out of anger and charges at Darius, Darius flies to the sky and with his right hand releases manna attacking Heidi, however, Katsumi manages to push Heidi away.

(BBBBBOOOOOMMMM)

A great explosion destroys the rest of the bridge. Uriel regains consciousness and sees Darius in the sky, Katsumi holds Heidi and says:

"Calm down, you must use you head, we will heal Allan."

"I´m sorry, I just lost my head seeing him like that." Heidi apologizes to Katsumi, Darius appears from behind and pushes Katsumi away. He grabs Heidi´s neck and says:

"Now Heidi Muller, I wonder how Allan will react after he sees you dead."

"HHHEEEIIIDDIII" Allan screams as he stands up with blood coming out of his cut. Darius elevates and says:

"Let´s see f you´re fast enough to stop this sword Allan Carter."

Darius throws the sword towards Heidi, Heidi is unable to move, the others are paralyzed. Allan tries to run screaming her name however his injury prevents him from moving. Shion with tears in her eyes only sees the sword going towards Heidi.

(SSSLLLLAASSSHHH)

Blood comes out of the sword, Katsumi opens her eyes and sees a terrifying scene. Shion runs towards them screaming, Heidi and Allan are in shock. Darius sighs with his eyes close:

"That idiot boy, he is just too noble."

"UUUURRRIIIIEEELLL" Katsumi runs towards Uriel protected Heidi by putting himself in front of her. Uriel turns and asks; "Are you okay?"

Heidi with tears in her eyes nods in agreement, Uriel falls into his knees as he throws up blood thinking; "I guess this is the end for me. Sorry Mother." Uriel passes out and falls with blood coming out of his body.

Maria feels pain in her heart and says; "Stop the vehicle now" She runs outside and tears in her eyes, Griselda stops her and asks; "What happened Maria";

"Uriel, something horrible has happened to Uriel!" Maria says to Griselda leaving the others in shock.

In the battlefield Darius scratches his head saying; "I might have over did it, but I have so much fun with these two. But our time is up, look at the sky."

Darius points up, the girls look at the sky where the moon is located. They begin to see the moon starting to get tainted in red. Darius smiles and says:

"Finally, I´ve waited 8 years to see the moon in that color. Now here is some advice because I am a good person. Create a barrier strong enough to withstand the impact of a meteor. I just warned you."

He begins to head to the sky and finishes talking by saying; "One last thing, you must act quickly, a horseman can´t die by natural causes however, another horseman can kill him and unfortunately for him, that sword was his own."

Heidi looks at Kasumi and says; "Katsumi we need to create a barrier now, Darius is planning to destroy the landscape. Shion focus on healing on Uriel, Allan can heal himself. Hurry"

Shion begins to heal Uriel as Katsumi and Heidi throws multiple talismans surrounding themselves with it crating a golden sphere. "Do you think we will survive?" Katsumi asks Heidi, Heidi looks at her and with a fake smile she says:

"I don't know, we just have to wait and see."

Darius reaches the Sharur and begins to think; "It´s been 8 years since I started this plan, all for this. Now then, it´s time for the Golden City of Cibola to reveal itself."

The Sharur begins to spin nonstop and gain maximum speed; lightning begins to come out of the sharur and hits the land. The sharur begins to form tornadoes changing the landscape. Dimitru looks at Darius between dimensions along with Aleister as he says:

"You´re long awaited ambition will be put into action Darius, let´s see what you will do."

Darius closes his eyes and begins to chant:

"Oh ancient God Ninurta, you who releases humans from sickness and the power of Demons, blessed this ancient tool that aide in your conquest. God Ninurta´s Worship"

The Sharur turns around and begins to head towards the ground, the sky gets illuminated as the sharur falls down resembling a meteor. The sharur hits the ground causing a catastrophic explosion covering the entire area and creating a massive earthquake splitting the ground in multiple pieces changing the landscape completely. The cortex of the earth begins to crumble and the buildings begin to fall to the layer revealing the final Golden City of Cibola.
