Vol. 13 - Chapter 4: Lockdown of Darkness
Part 1- Various Places in the Borderland
In the top of a mountain, a man wearing a Charro suit stands with a teenager with hazel hair. Juan de la Trinidad and Alexa de la Trinidad are looking at the battle field, suddenly; Juan falls into his knees and breathes heavily.
"Padre, are you alright?" Alexa asks with a worried expression, Juan who has sweat in his face and breathes heavily replies:
"Yes, I am fine, don't worry."
Juan stands up and looks at Rio Grande City, he begins to smile and says:
"It appears my successor has arrived to the borderland."
Alexa puts a sinister smile; "Finally, you have arrive, Uriel."
Juan receives a call from Darius who is in his office in the tallest building of Sun City; "Juan, your boy has arrived to the city, I am going to execute the next stage of the plan."
A portal opens behind them; they begin to walk as Juan smiles and replies:
"Very well, I will head to the south side of Rio Grande City, the "Golden Maiden" will arrive shortly as well, and I will go and give her a warm welcome."
"Very well, I leave her in your hands." Darius hangs the phone; Juan and Alexa walk towards the portal and disappear. Darius stands up and a large portal appear in the ceiling, he smiles and says:
"Very well, boy, now that you have arrive we can get the real mission started"
In the Ministry of San Juan, Maria, Griselda and the sisters stand outside along with various members of the Ministry. Maria gets impatient and says:
"I had enough, I need to look for my daughter, and the wave has passed."
"Wait child, you don't even know where she is, you must be patient." Griselda says as she walks in front, the people who are there are terrified by the actions occurring in the border. They begin to shout:
"What is going on?
Is it the end of the world?
We must escape."
Maria and Griselda look at the people, Griselda begins to gather manna and shine saying:
"Please come down, we must remain calm, let's go to the altar and pray for the wellness of this city."
People begin to walk towards the inside of the temple. Maria looks around and with a nervous tone asks:
"Where is Daniel?"
Fabiola and the other sisters begin to look around, Griselda begins to look at the door and ask:
"Don't tell me he went outside?"
In a hall way, Carolina walks slowly along the wall as she breathes heavily thinking:
"What is this sensation; I feel that something terrible is going to happened. I must hurry."
(BBBAAADDUUUMMMPPP)
Carolina falls into her knees, her head begins to hurt with intensity, suddenly, she takes out her lance and begins to think:
"I remembered now, I know what I must do."
In the temple, people pray on their knees in the stools, the priest is praying along with them, there is no electricity making them use candles. The priest lifts his arms and prays:
"May God protect us all."

A black figure passes through with great speed causing the windows to shake. The barrier surrounding the ministry shatters, Griselda with a fearful expression looks at the sky:
"This can´t be…"
"What was that? What happened?" The priest looks at the moon with a fearful expression, suddenly the door opens and a nun enters the church, she has a pair of glasses and slowly closes the door.
"Carolina is that you?" The priest asks, the nun doesn't say a word and walks down the aisle; she takes out a lance and smiles:
"You better pray for your life, because judgment has come for you all."
In the tallest building Darius makes a small cut in his fingers and begins to chant:
"This unbreakable wall, to those who are inside may never leave, to those who are outside may never enter: Divine Blood Barrier."
"Thank you Roberto, how ironic is that I got this spell from you." Darius thinks as he lets a drop of blood fall in to the ground. At that moment, a pillar of red manna extends to the portal; the pillar rises to the sky creating an enormous dome that begins to cover both of the cities.

Uriel who is running to someplace looks at the sky thinking:
"Is that Darius´ doing, I must hurry."
"That is Roberto´s technique, that bastard is using it." Maria says as she looks at the sky with rage. Daniel who is walking in the street sees the sky and says:
"Oh wow, that is my father´s technique ehh, very well, I guess I must hurry as well."
The barrier finishes forming and covers both of the cities, people try to cross the barrier, however, they can't pass and they get burn in the process. Meanwhile the battle continues non-stop at the river with only a few people remaining. Darius smiles; he looks at the window and begins to think:
"Now that you have arrive, everyone is doomed, I can´t wait to kill you, Uriel Di Fiore."
Part 2 – Sun City Study Abroad School
In the streets of Sun City, while the war was happening in the middle of the river, two women run towards the direction of the Sun City Study Abroad School. Katsumi and Shion head with their faces full of determinations, Katsumi begins to remember the night before:
"Now then, Katsumi and Shion come tomorrow at sundown to the school, we will settle things there, and you will know the fate of the missing students, if you don't come, I will kill all of the students that I have imprisoned."
"YOU BITCH!" Katsumi charges trying to attack Olivia, Olivia laughs as she disappears in the portal saying:
"I look forward for tomorrow."
"Damn it, why did this have to happen? I must save my students." Katsumi thinks as they arrive to the entrance of the school. In the last floor, a woman with white hair looks at the window, her eyes begin to shine in a yellow mustard color and fangs grow out of her mouth, she smiles and says:
"You have arrived, Katsumi Miyazono."
"Shion, we are about to enter enemy territory, changing into your suit now." Katsumi extends her arm revealing a golden crest, which consists of a filled circle with two curving stripes. Katsumi begins to chant:
"Activate Orenjikji: Complete" (Translates: Orange Pheasant)
Katsumi's crest begins to spread around her body causing her to shine in to an orange revealing an esper suit. The suit consists into a black kimono with an orange line around the edges of the borders of the kimono. The kimono is adjusted into her body with the skirt being short above the knees. She has black stockings that go up to her knees with her border being orange color. She has sandals with orange color strings and a black jacket that she holds with her shoulders, the back of the jacket has an image of a pheasant with orange borders.
Shion looks at Katsumi with stars in her eyes as she thinks:
"Oh wow, Katsumi senpai is so cool. No Shion, you must concentrate come on" Shion lifts her arm and reveals her crest consisting of a golden filled circle with a large curving line, Shion begins to chant:
"Activate: Gorudenkuren Complete" (Golden Crane)
Shion´screst begins to spread around her body causing her to shine in to a golden color revealing an esper suit. The suit consists into a black kimono with golden lines around the edges of the borders of the kimono. The kimono is adjusted into her body with the skirt being short above the knees. She has black stockings that go up to her knees with her border being golden color. She has sandals with golden color strings.
Shion with a fearful expression looks at Katsumi, Katsumi looks back and smiles:
"Shion, be brave, remember, we are doing this to protect the world, our mission is to abolish evil right?"
Shion stops trembling, closes her eyes and begins to think:
"Senpai is right, I must stop being a cry baby, and otherwise, Ototto-san won't stop teasing me."
Shion opens her eyes and with a confident look replies:
"I'm ready senpai, let's go."
Katsumi and Shion walk slowly towards the entrance, she tries to open the main door, however the door is locked, they begin to walk around trying to open some doors but most of them are closed. They walk carefully trying not to make hard noises, the only sound heard is the one that their steps are making.
"This is strange, it too quiet, it feels as if we are heading to a trap." Katsumi thinks to herself as she opens the door to the cafeteria slowly. The creak of the door makes Shion jump of fear. She gets close to Katsumi as they enter the cafeteria. The cafeteria appears to be alone, the light of the moon illuminates' parts of the room.
On the other side of the cafeteria, a student runs at high speed running away from something, -RRRAAAWWW- A being with yellow eyes approaches the student, the student makes a right turn however, the being catches up to her.

Katsumi and Shion look on how the door on the other side of the room opens, they here a student screaming, Shion charges to see what was happening, Katsumi runs behind her saying:
"Shion wait, it could be a trap."
Suddenly, something flies and crashes in a table, Shion and Katsumi stop, a female student crawls slowly towards the light, she is covered in blood and breathes heavily, Shion looks frightened and walks forward, Katsumi stops her saying:
"Calm down, there is something behind her."
"P-P-Please, help me, Teach-e-e-e-r-r-r" The student says with tears in her eyes and a shaky voice. Katsumi lifts her eyes and sees a yellow eyed being approaching with great speed, Katsumi charges to aid the student, however the female student is pulled towards the darkness screaming:
"GYYYAAHH, NOOOOOO!"
Katsumi and Shion are frightened to hear the student scream, after a moment there was only silence in the room, "I can't take this anymore." Shion charges golden manna in her hands and illuminates the area, she looks with fear, and Katsumi opens her eyes wider as she begins to say:
"T-T-This can't be…"
A few meters from where were standing, a male student was biting the dead body of the female student, there were surrounded by a puddle of blood, Shion begins to tremble, Katsumi puts a serious face as she says:
"So, this is what Olivia was doing, now I get what she really is…"
The student turns around revealing his yellow eyes, he has fangs coming out of his mouth, the student stands up and chargers straight at Shion. –RRRAAAWWW- The student roars as he jumps in the air.
"NNOOOO GGEETTT AAAWWAAAYY" Shion walks back but falls because of a chair. Katsumi kicks the student with high speed causing him to hit the wall.
(BBBBBOOOOOMMMM)
"SHION PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER, THIS IS WAR!" Katsumi screams at Shion, she has a serious expression causing Shion to look down; she turns around and sees the student standing up.
"So this is as I taught, this guys are already dead." Katsumi thinks to herself, "Senpai, look over there." Shion points to the female student who was killed earlier, she begins to stand up like a puppet being controlled with strings, she opens her eyes revealing to be yellow and fangs grow bigger.
"What is happening Senpai?" Shion asks with a frightened expression, at that moment, the doors open everywhere, and students begin to enter the cafeteria, everyone has the yellow eyes and fangs, they surround Katsumi and Shion.
"This is bad, they are all dead, and however, they have been brought back to life." Katsumi says to Shion who looks scared, the students begin to charge straight to the women, Katsumi takes out her katana and builds up manna, she swings her sword chanting:
"Bādofurappu" (Bird´s Flap)
(BBBBBOOOOOMMMMM)
With a powerful force, Katsumi pushes back several students and makes a path for them to escape. Katsumi grabs Shion´s hand screaming:
"Move it Shion, we need to escape."
Katsumi and Shion escape the cafeteria with students pursuing them, Katsumi begins to explain as they run:
"They are undead beings, in other words Vampires."
"Vampires? You must be joking, they are a legend only" Shion says to Katsumi, Katsumi shakes her head and explains:
"They are real, and most of them are in East Europe, remember the incident that happened in Jalisco one year ago, one of our agents had an encounter with a vampire."
"I remember reading the report, but it said that it was a natural disaster." Shion replies, "It was a cover up because something else happened that night, but I don't have time to explain, right now we need to find the master of the vampires, and I already know who it is."
Katsumi and Shion enter the Gymnasium, the room is empty with only the light of the full moon illuminating the center, Katsumi and Shion begin to hear footsteps, and a figure begins to walk towards the light.
A middle age woman with thin body stands in the middle of the light, she opens her eyes revealing their yellow color, and her fangs begin to grow. She begins to say:
"WELCOME MY YOUNG GIRLS, TO OUR PARTY"
