Vol. 13 - Chapter 13: The Red Hound

Part 1 – A few moments before

In an abandoned building, Aleister, Marjorie and Alexandria look at the window with the current explosions happening near the ministry. "Are you okay dear? Did that boy hurt you?" Marjorie cleans Aleister´s face, with Alexandria looking concerned as she begins to think:

"I can´t believe his power.. I thought he was going to kill Aleister."

Going back a few minutes before:

"NNNNNOOOO, GGYYYYAAHHH" Olivia screams, outside of the building a purple light shines bright as a young boy stands outside; he has red hair and glasses as he smiles:

"I finally found you, Aleister"

Olivia´s "body" turns to ashes as Aleister chuckles:

"My mother´s powers are strong but they are not enough, I need more.Plus I cant kill her just yet, I need her to do one more thing."

"You know wanting power makes you a greedy person Aleister." Alexandria comments, Aleister smiles and replies:

"Well I want power to keep Marjorie safe, that doesn't make me greedy right?"

Alexandria looks at Marjorie as she thinks; "Aleister is using Marjorie as an excuse, I can´t stand him." Alexandria looks at the door and says:

"We have company."

At that moment, the door opens slowly revealing a young boy with red hair and glasses. He always has a typical teenage face always looking bored. Marjorie looks surprised as she says:

"Wait you are Uriel´s younger brother, Daniel"

"So you remember me, that´s a surprise judging that you are very stupid for being with someone like Aleister."

-TCH- "HEY, DON'T OFFEND HER!" Alexandria releases manna, Aleister chuckles as he says:

"Those are some mature words for a 12 years old."

Daniel laughs and replies; "Well I like to speak as a like a reincarnated Isekai Japanese beta male."

"Now what brings you here? Are you lost and need your mommy?" Aleister says with a sarcastic tone. Daniel chuckles and replies:

"No, in fact, I came here to warned you"

"Warned me, about what?" Aleister asks Daniel, Daniel takes off his glasses and continues to speak:

"You know about Uriel´s glasses right? The ones that control manna and alters personality. Well this glasses are the same, they control my manna from leaking and makes people like you believe that I don´t have any."

(PPPUUMMM)

Everyone in the room change their expression as the room turns its color into a bright reddish tone, Daniel releases his manna and smiles saying:

"Let me show you my true power."

"This can´t be, his manna is greater than Aleister and its matching mine and Marjorie´s, just who is this kid?" Alexandria asks with a shocking tone. Daniel snaps his fingers and makes three disks appears, the disks fly to the side of each of them.

"Cadena roja" (Red Chain)

The chains tie the three of them, Alexandria ties to break lose but she can´t, "I can´t release my ice, what have you done?"

"These chains prevent you from using manna, you may be the White Witch, but you are still a human being when it comes to having a physical body. Right now lives are in my hand." Daniel says with a sinister smile, Aleister struggles as he says:

"DON'T GET COCKY, I CAN EASILY KILL YOU RIGHT NOW KID!"

Daniel walks towards Aleister, "You know, I really hate and your people. Your dad killed my father and nearly killed my mother, your mom killed some of my friends, your henchmen tortured my sister and try to rape her."

Daniel stops in front of Aleister and continues to speak; "And then there is you, the cocky bastard who thinks he is on top of everyone. I hate you the most, in fact, I hate you three; Alexandria, you betrayed my brother by joining his love rival and connected his heart with Marjorie."

Daniel looks at Marjorie and says; "You are a witch, my brother loves you. Sure, he has been with other woman but he never touched them for you and yet, you chose Aleister. He is heartbroken, but he is willing to fight for you."

"SO WHAT, SHE CHOSE ME!" Aleister continues to struggle, Daniel looks at Aleister and speaks;

"Aleister, you think that you are high and mighty but you are no one, I know the people you are working with, and I know their power, they are monsters and Gods however, they are more intelligent than you."

Daniel points at Aleister, releases a small red manna beam, and fires it scratching Aleister´s cheek. – BADUMP- Aleister begins to feel pain all over his body, Alexandria and Marjorie look at him with shock;

"What did you do to him?"

"I just alter his manna molecules, don´t worry he will finish feeling pain in 10 seconds." Daniel explains the situation as Aleister stops screaming, he expands hand and charges a manna ball pointing at Aleister as he continues to speak:

"I love my brother Uriel; he has been more like a father to me, and it fills me with rage looking at him suffer. He might be the Horseman of War but he has a kind heart, he will never kill any of you as much as he wants too. However, I am not Uriel, in order for him to be happy, I would kill if I have too. So right now I´m deciding whether I kill you or not."

"NO WAIT, STOP, KILL ME INSTEAD, I AM THE ONE WHO HARMED HIM" Marjorie begs to Daniel, Daniel laughs and says:

"So you really love this man, to the point you would put your life on the line, I wonder if he would do the same?"

Aleister doesn't respond, Marjorie lowers her head feeling disappointed, Daniel chuckles as he says; "I thought so" Daniel stops charging manna, he turns around and begins to leave. He stops at the door and says:

"Before I go, I warned you, if you ever contact my brother again, I will hunt you down and kill you. Understand!"

Daniel disappears; the chains disappear as well with the disk exploding leaving no evidence. Everyone falls to their knees as they breathe heavily. In the present Aleister laughs as he says:

"So Uriel´s brother is more aggressive despite of being a teenager. Well no matter, Alexandria its time for us to find the seventh key."

Part 2 – Ministry of San Juan

Valerie and Daniel look at Melissa who floats in the sky. Daniel takes a few steps back and says:

"Now then, time to get serious."

Daniel pulls up his left sleeve revealing an esper crest. Maria looks at him and asks:

"Daniel you too?"

"Wait, that´s an esper crest, I can't believe it, you two are not from Yggdrasil, how can you have one?" Rizu exclaims, Daniel chuckles as he crest glow into a bright red, the crest consists of two rectangles and a circle in the middle, Daniel begins to chant:

"Activate, Labrador Rojo; Completo" (Red Hound; Complete)

(BBBBOOOOMMM)

Daniel releases a massive amount of manna creating a red pillar, massive wind blows causing the Windows to shatter. "GGYYYAAAAHH" The girls scream as they cover their skirts, Valerie smiles and say:

"I guess you are serious brother."

Daniel's appearance changes, he has black pants with red lines on the sides, a black shirt with red lines in his body. He has a red jacket with black dog in his back, and black gloves.

"WWOOOWWW, HE LOOKS SO COOL!" Abril and Mariana say with hearts in their eyes. –TCH- Fabiola looks away blushing and thinks; "He does look cool"

"I CAN'T BELIEVE IT, ARE YOU THE RED DOG?" Rizu asks with awe, Daniel walks towards her and throws her the cell phone, Rizu looks surprised and asks:

"When did you get my phone?"

"When you were on your way, but don't worry I uploaded new photos from your crush" Daniel replies, Rizu says surprise; "REALLY?"

Daniel puts something in her back taking advantage from her distraction and says:

"Now it's time for you to go, your partner needs you"

"WAIT WHAT?"

(BBBOOOOMMM)

"GYYAAAHHH" The object in Rizu's back makes her fly away to the barrier, "Hey wait, is she going to crash?" Valerie asks as she looks up, Daniel chuckles:

"Of course not, every spell has a weakness, and I am that weakness"

Daniel draws a square in the barrier; the square opens a small space in the barrier permitting Rizu to pass. Darius notices and says:

"Well, well, so there is someone who knows the witness of the spell. You raised fine children Roberto"

Daniel looks at Melissa and says; "Sorry, I had to get rid of her because she is from Yggdrasil and annoying."

"You got that right; now then, the specters are aching for battle." Melissa signals the specters; suddenly the 200 specters begin to charge straight at them. Daniel makes a sphere appear, he throws the sphere into the air. The sphere opens and begins to spin, Daniel closes his eyes and chants:

"Sentido del Sabueso" (Hound's sense)

Daniel begins to detect the enemies that are charging towards them, "205 Enemies, target locked on"

"Juicio del Sabueso" (Hound's judgement)

The sphere releases manna rays and attacking the specters instantly. Daniel destroys the 200 specters in a blink of an eye. He fires 5 rays towards five different person. The first ray heads towards Darius, Darius notices and makes it disappear saying:

"Pretty clever boy."

Three rays head towards Aleister's location; Alexandria notices and blocks them with a wall of ice. The last ray heads to Melissa but she blocks it with her manna.

"You are powerful; it's going to be difficult to face both of you at the same time." Melissa chuckles, Daniel shakes his head and replies:

"No, I won't face you; I'm only here to protect them."

Daniel points to his mother and the others. Valerie jumps towards Melissa and charges manna in the left hand creating a large wolf head. Melissa creates a giant sea serpent and clashes with Valerie's attack.

(BBBOOOOOOOMMMM)

A powerful wind blows once again; Daniel creates a barrier protecting everyone. Valerie uses her lance and clashes multiple times creating shock waves. Melissa creates dark manna in her lance and clashes once again towards Valerie forcing her to fall.

Valerie uses wind to stop falling, she impulses herself once again and throws a manna ray attacking Melissa as she cants:

"Pillar del Lobo" (Wolf Pillar)

A purple pillar strikes Melissa causing an explosion. Melissa flies away and creates a water serpent once more as she chants:

"Hydra"

The sea serpent spreads and multiplies into 8 heads. Valerie charges her spear and throws it, the spear attacks the heads one by one. She destroys the eight heads however, the heads grow back.

"What the? My attack didn't work?" Valerie jumps back; she begins to evade the heads preventing their attack. The heads continue to charge, Valerie tries to get rid of the heads but she loses her footing. She falls backward and one of the heads is about attack her.

(PPUUUMMM)

A red shield appears blocking the water serpent. Valerie smiles and says:

"Thank you Brother"

Melissa looks at Daniel, Daniel chuckles and says; "Sorry, I said I wouldn't but I never said that I wouldn't interfere, I will protect my sister and look behind you"

Valerie appears behind Melissa, Melissa turns around trying to react but Valerie is faster and attacks Melissa forcing her to fall to a building.

(CCCRRAAASSHHH)

The attack destroys the building completely, suddenly a pillar of manna makes the rubble float as Melissa flies to the sky. She looks furious at Valerie and exclaims:

"YOU BITCH, NOW YOU MADE ME ANGRY!"

Melissa begins to release her power, Valerie smiles and releases her manna as well saying:

"GOOD TO HEAR; NOW YOU KNOW I AM NOT PLAYING AROUND!"

Valerie and Melissa charge once again clashing their spears.

(BBBOOOOOMMM)

Uriel hurries towards Darius' location; he runs down the streets and notices that there is no one inside. He feels the powerful manna clashing in the sky as he thinks:

"Valerie and Daniel are fighting Melissa with all their power. I must do my best as well and stop this battle."

Katsumi and Shion walk slowly down the street heading towards the river. Katsumi breathes heavily as she thinks:

"I can feel Uriel's manna; he is here, Shion I want to see him."

Shion smiles and comments; "Senpai, I promise you that you will see him again."

In the south part of Rio Grande City, outside the barrier, a new battle begins to unfold. A battle between the leader of the Order of the Holy Cross and the previous Charro Negro.
