Vol. 12 - Chapter 1: The Golden City of Kwakena
Part 1 – Florida, 500 Years Ago
In the rain forest of Florida, located in the southeast region; a legend runs down by the Natives who live in that region, the natives speak about a Golden building located inside the forest; however, this forest has features of a jungle with vines coming out of the trees. The vines are Golden, thus giving the name "Golden Jungle."In that Golden Building there is a special fountain that it is said that conceives those who drink it "eternal life."
This fountain attracted many voyagers to explore the region; a great number of expeditions were set off to find this fountain. In 1513, a man known as Ponce de Leon led a successful expedition to find the Golden Temple and the Fountain of Life however, a certain incident caused him to retreat.
In the shore of Florida, there is beach where a ship is anchored; this ship belongs to Ponce de Leon who set camp in the shore, Ponce de Leon was tracing a map in his tent when a soldier comes screaming:
Ponce de Leon was a mature man around his 30's; he had silk clothing along with some pieces of armor. He had black hair, white skin and brown eyes. He had a mustache, he was a strict man and greedy person who wanted to find gold in Florida, he also competed to beat Cortes in finding new land.
"Capitán, Capitán, lo hemos encontrado, lo hemos encontrado. Venga a ver"(Captain, Captain, we have found it come see.)
Ponce de Leon and a group of thirty men enter the rain forest, as they walk along the trail; they begin to see golden veins hanging in the trees. The soldiers cheers as they begin to scream:
"ENCONTRAMOS ORO!" (WE FOUND GOLD.)
As they come across a waterfall that had "Golden" water coming from it. Ponce de Leon and his men enter the waterfall and have shocking expression as they see a huge golden temple, with golden roads with golden pillars, the city seemed to be empty, and the crew enters the city and walk around gathering all the treasure they could find.As Ponce de Leon sees that in the center of the city, there is a large fountain that had beautiful rainbow flowers growing around it. The water has sparkling golden color similar to glitter; Ponce de Leon sees the temple and smiles screaming:
"CABALLEROS, ENCONTRAMOS NUESTRO TESORO." (GENTLEMEN, WE FOUND OUR TREASURE.)
"AAAAHHHHHH" Suddenly, the crew hears a scream in the back, they turn around a see that a soldier who was carrying treasure disappeared without a trace. Ponce de Leon begins to say:
"Ques esta pasando, donde estan el soldado?" (What's happening, where is my soldier.)
"AAAHHHH" Another man disappears, suddenly, many people begin to disappear. Ponce de Leon begins to panic and screams:
"Retrocedan, agarren todo el Tesoro y corran. Nos persiguen los demonios corran." (Fall back; grab all the treasure and run. The demons are chasing them you must run. )
Ponce de Leon grabs a golden grail and grabs a little bit of the water located in the fountain and with a rainbow flower and begins to run with his men. One by one the soldiers were taken away by something; Ponce de Leon arrives at the end of the waterfall and jumps before getting taken away.
Ponce de Leon looks back and sees a figure of a giant snake behind the waterfall, he could see the green eyes of the monster and below it there were other eyes looking at him. –RRRRAAAAAWWWWWWWWW-The monster begins to roar, causing Ponce de Leon to run away as fast as he can make him the only survivor.
After that incident, Ponce de Leon retreated to Puerto Rico and became the mayor in Puerto Rico, he manage to grab parts of the gold, along with water from the fountain, his treasure were stolen by another explorer known as Cabeza de Vaca as he visited Puerto Rico. Cabeza de Vaca explored the region searching for the golden cities.
His expedition failed until he reached the region of Hawikuh in New Mexico. He grabbed the treasure that he stole from Ponce de Leon which was the plant who was later known as Eternal life; he planted it in the Golden temple and poured the water that was in the fountain. Suddenly the plant began to grow and gave birth to other plants giving the region a rich agriculture of Eternal Life plants that Uriel will encounter in the future. As for the region, Ponce de Leon kept it a secret and wrote all the information in his logbook, he died at the same year that the conquest took place by Cortes and the Conquistadores. Ponce de Leon's family kept it a secret until Darius Lucifugus took it by force, about 600 years later, the city of gold will be discovered once again.
Part 2 - Present Day, a beach near Palm City
"Man this is life." Aleister stretches his arms as he is relaxing in a beach bed along with Marjorie; he has a black swimsuit, and sunglasses. Marjorie has a black bikini; causing everyone that passes next to them stare because of how they look very attracted.
"So, are enjoying this, dear?" Aleister asks Marjorie as he zips from straw lemonade. Marjorie who is also wearing sunglasses turns to see Aleister and replies; "I am dear, but I want to find that golden key already."
Aleister laughs and replies; "Patience my dear, it takes time to find the golden city, but I have a hunch that we are about to find it today."
"I sure hope so, I want to go back and kill Uriel now." Marjorie replies as she puffs her cheeks. Aleister smiles and comments; "I love how you get so impatient; it makes me want to kiss you."
Marjorie stands up and sits on top of Aleister, she leans forward and kisses him, as she finishes, she smiles and says; "Why don't we go up to the room and have some fun?"
Aleister smiles and replies; "You know that is what I want but unfortunately we can't right now, you must remain pure for now. Please try to understand."
"Aww, Alright, but I want you to be my first, you got that?" Marjorie says as she leans back, Aleister chuckles; "Don't worry, I promise you that I will be your first."
"Excuse me sir, but I must inform you that we found it." A man wearing a black suit informs Aleister.
"Excellent, I will head there right now. Prepare my truck right away." Aleister says as he stands up, he looks at Marjorie and says:
"Your wish came true my love, we are going to retrieve the sixth key."
Marjorie make a sinister smile and replies; "I am ready to begin the slaughter my love." Aleister and Marjorie head to their room to get prepare for the expedition. Meanwhile, looking at them in a restaurant a few metersaway was a man wearing a unbuttoned shirt and a swimsuit with sunglasses. He was surrounded by beautiful women who were feeding him.
A muscular man walks to him and says; "Raions- senpai, the target is moving." Raions looks at him and smiles saying:
"Thank you, Ginkuma, it looks like they are heading towards the temple, are you ready to work?"
"Yes sir, I am ready to fight." Ginkuma replies with serious face. Raions stands up causing all the girls to scream because of his well build body and his attractive expression.
(GGGYYYAAAA)
"Then let's head to war then." Raions replies with a great smile in his face.
Part 3 – Golden Jungle, Florida
Aleister and Marjorie travel along the road towards the Golden Jungle, they are in a customize silver truck with the power to withstand every terrain. The road is difficult to access but thanks to that vehicle they are able to move freely. As they approach to the entrance of the jungle Aleister is reading from the log book of Ponce de Leon, Marjorie notices that and asks:
"My love, what are you reading?"
"My father gave me this logbook that once belonged to the famous explorer Ponce de Leon, in here, he talks about what he encounters as he entered the famous "Golden Jungle" and it dangers." Aleister replies to Marjorie looks at his with intrigue.
"So what were the dangers that he described?" Marjorie asks Aleister, he begins to explain:
"According to Ponce de Leon; a giant green-eyed demon appeared and attacked his men, along with an army of demons who had blue eyes. However, he could not see the monster face. Out of the 20 men that entered the waterfall, only he survived."
"Now that turns me on, I want to know what is located behind the waterfall and kill it." Marjorie says with her face full of excitement. Aleister begins to chuckle and says:
"Well dear, we are about to find out, we will arrive in ten minutes."
(RRRRIIIINNNGGG)
Aleister's phone rings, he answers and Darius begins to speak through the phone by saying:
"Hello my son, I just wanted to inform you that everything is set, the operation will begin as soon as you retrieve the sixth key."
"Very well, Marjorie and I are about to reach the Golden Jungle, I will call you once I get the sixth key." Aleister replies to Darius, Darius begins to smile and says:
"We are enlightened"
Aleister hangs up and with a smile says; "I truly wish to kill him, but I can't because he is my father."
"Could you let me kill him instead?" Marjorie asks with an excited face, Aleister begins to laugh really hard:
"I might think about it, but we need to finish the operation first in order to do that."
"Very well dear, we just arrive to the location." Marjorie says with enthusiasm as she looks outside the window.
The vehicle stops, Aleister and Marjorie get off the vehicle. Aleister is wearing a black suit with a tie, and Marjorie is wearing a sleeveless black dress that go down to their knees. She is wearing fashionable boots and long black gloves. The man with a suit takes out an umbrella and puts it on top of Marjorie to give her shade.
Aleister and Marjorie walk with a group of agents and a native that is guiding them. They enter the jungle and the place is covered in broken roads and giant stones. Marjorie begins to throw a tamper as she says:
"That's not fair; I don't want to walk in a bumpy road."
"Hold on dear, I will take care of it." Aleister begins to walk forward and tells everyone:
"Everyone please stand I will make a better path for my fiancé"
Aleister takes out a special gem, that gem has a special stone that is divided into four colors. The colors are; Blue, Red, Yellow and Green. The gem is the same size as Aleister's palm. He puts the gem in his chest similar to a flower on his pocket. Marjorie looks at him with a curious face and asks:
"Dear, what is that jewel?"
Aleister begins to say to Marjorie; "Well dear, during our trip to Mexico, I had another mission besides getting the golden key. My mission was to find one of the legendary treasures."
"Legendary treasure? What is that?" Marjorie asks with a clueless face. Aleister smiles and replies:
"There are 16 treasure spread around the world, this treasures are special because they have the power to create or destroy civilizations. This special treasure was used by the ancient Aztecs to create their civilization. I was a gift from Quetzalcoatl. You must remember that deity right?'
Marjorie begins to remember the feathered serpent and the time that Uriel fought against Quetzalcoatl. Marjorie begins to say:
"Oh yeah, I remember, but why did it not have that treasure?"
"This treasure was sealed in another temple far away from where you were. The reason was because of its destructive power it posses. Let me give you a demonstration on how roads where created."
Aleister begins to release an enormous amount of manna; the manna is purple color, causing everyone surrounding him, enter in a state of shock and have a hard time to breathe except for Marjorie. Aleister closes his eyes and grabs touches the gem and he begins to say:
"The name of the gem is the GEM OF KUKULKAN; One of the 16 treasures of the world. Now witness its power."
Aleister begins to concentrate his manna in his hand, the manna changes color to yellow as he begins to chant:
"Gem of Kukulkan; Modo Tierra" (Earth Mode)
Aleister puts his hand on the ground and presses with force chanting:
"Creadora de Placas" (Plate Creator.)
(BBBBBOOOOOMMMM)
A massive earthquake is felt around the area. The birds begin to fly away, and the earth begins to reassemble creating a smooth path making it more comfortable to walk. Aleister stops and makes the shaking stop. The dust cloud clears revealing a smooth pathway, he turns around with a smug face.
(CLAP, CLAP, CLAP)
The men begin to cheer saying stuff like; "OUR YOUNG MASTER IS THE STORNGEST, THE YOUNG MASTER IS OUR GUIDE."
Marjorie runs and kisses Aleister by saying; "That was really impressive dear, now I know why I fell for you."
The group begins to walk the pathway created by Aleister, the pathway leads directly towards the waterfall. Aleister makes the signal to enter the waterfall; around 10 agents enter slowly to the waterfall. Aleister and Marjorie are the last to enter, as they enter the waterfall they see a large golden temple. The place has also golden houses with pillars and a golden road. In the middle of the city there is a waterfall that has a golden color water running. Aleister smiles and shouts:
"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, I PRESENT YOU, THE GOLDEN CITY OF KWAKENA"
Aleister begins to walk forward with his agents and says; "Take all the gold you can find and it is yours, however, be careful because there are monsters in this area so be on your guard."
Outside the temple, Raions and Ginkuma walk in the road created by Aleister. "HOLD IT, YOU CANT PASS." Five agents point their weapons to them, Raions smiles and say:
"I'm sorry, we are tourist and we got lost."
"Then get out of here." One of the agents begins to walk forward; Raions disappears from their sight and knocks all of them out in a blink of an eye."
He looks at the waterfall and says; 'Time to start this party Ginkuma!"
