Vol. 10 - Chapter 9: Agent Gomez´s True Mission

Part 1 - A few moments before

Watson, Johanna and Deborah travel towards the Manhattan Park. Deborah who looks confused asks:

"What´s going on here?"

"Nothing in particular, it´s just that our orders change and we are heading towards our new location." Agent Watson replies with a smile, Deborah looks at Johanna who looks depressed. Watson receives a message and says; "Excellent, now would you mind looking at the monitor that I am about to present."

A monitor spears in the middle of the limousine, the monitor turns on and begins to reveal images. Deborah´s eyes are open wider and she speechless. –PIU, PIU- Gunshots are herd coming out of the monitor as the agents begin to kill a certain amount of people one by one.

"WHAT IS THIS?" Deborah begins to scream with tears in her eyes. Watson with a serious tone looks at Deborah and replies:

"This is just a cleaning method that we of the SIA use. I am sorry but the government of the country has declared that the Puritan Defense is obsolete. Therefore, all the members of the organization must be exterminated immediately."

Deborah is speechless as she sees that all her comrades were dead. She begins to remember everyone´s faces and she begins to release manna screaming:

"HOW DARE YOU, WE TRUSTEDYOU AND YOU BETRAY US?"

"Agent Gomez, could you please stop her?" Watson says in a calm tone; Johanna presses a button in a control on her hand. Suddenly Deborah stops and begins to feel pain in her entire body; purple veins begin to spread throughout her entire body.

"What is happening to me?" Deborah asks as she can´t move an inch. Johanna with a serious tone replies:

"This is a poison used by the black mamba; it uses manna which paralyzes those who use it. Please try not to move or it will spread faster."

Agent Watson looks at her and says; "Now then, shall we proceed, the only reason our government said to get rid of you is because you lack of power."

"What do you mean by lack of power?" Deborah asks as she breathes heavily. Watson begins to explain:

"Let's face it, the Puritan Defense has been lacking power ever since Edward Williams dies about 100 years ago. We only saw this opportunity to get rid of you. Deborah do not take this personal, it is just how we do our job to protect this country."

"And for that you needed to kill my comrades?" Deborah asks Watson, Watson replies:

"When we exterminate things related to supernatural, we do it without an exception, you guys are no exception, this is why I must kill you but before that I need the spell you ancestor had."

"How do you know that?" Deborah asks with a nervous tone. Watson smiles and replies:

"We know everything that happens in this country, this is why Yggdrasil can't move freely here. Now then please give me the spell before you die."

Deborah smiles and replies; "Go to hell, I will never give you that spell."

Watson begins to laugh as he says; "Wow now that's a shocker, I thought that you Puritans would never cause, I guess I was wrong. But no matter, we arrive to our destination."

The limousine stops as Deborah sees Uriel with a white haired girl.

Part 2 – Manhattan Park

Uriel observes a man wearing a black suit walking towards him, the man begins to say:

"My name is Henry Watson, director of the Supernatural Intelligence Agency, it's a pleasure to meet you, Uriel Di Fiore."

Uriel looks at the man with suspicion. "The pleasure is all mine" Uriel replies with a suspicious tone, Henry begins to laugh as he says; "I must thank you, for saving my worthless agent over there. Also for doing us the favor in reviving that young woman over there."

Henry points at Alexandria, Alexandria looks at Deborah and begins to smile. Uriel sees Alexandria who begins to walk straight at Deborah, and he begins to scream:

"WAIT, STOP!"

(BBBBOOMMM)

Henry kicks Uriel in the stomach, Uriel who was caught off guard falls into one knee. Henry proceeds in kicking Uriel in the face as he says:

"Don't interfere with our mission boy."

Johanna begins to walk towards Uriel leaving Deborah unprotected. Uriel looks at Johanna and asks; "Why are you doing this? Weren't you supposed to protect Deborah?"

Henry begins to laugh; "I'm sorry boy, but our mission wasn't to protect Deborah Williams. In fact, it was the opposite; we need to dispose of Deborah and the Puritan Defense."

Uriel looks at Johanna and Henry, rain falls faster, harder for Uriel to move. –BAADDUMMMPP- Uriel begins to feel pain in his body as purple veins grow in his arm reaching to his neck. "Wait, this is the poison of the black mamba, when did you?"

Uriel begins to remember the moment that Johanna kissed him, he felt pain in his lower lip. He looks at Johanna and says; "So, that kiss was a trick right?"

"I am afraid you are correct, I needed a way to catch you off guard." Johanna replies lowering her head. Uriel puts a sad expression replying:

"I thought you have change but I was wrong, I never should have trusted you."

Uriel's hair begins to turn in a pink color, as crimson manna emerges from his body. Uriel begins to stand up and with high speed jumps towards Alexandria screaming:

"I AM NOT GOING TO LET YOU TOUCH HER!"

Alexandria smiles and in a blink of an eyes kicks Uriel straight to the limousine.

(CCCCRRAASSSHH)

Uriel falls into his knees as he feels even more pain in his body, his hair turns back to normal and he is unable to move. Alexandria makes ice chains appears from the ground and wraps Uriel up. "Please don't interfere Uriel, this is something I must do." Alexandria says with a smile on her face. Deborah looks at Uriel, and with the last of her strength she smiles at Uriel and says:

"Thank you for being the son that I never had. Please live on Uriel, I already completed my journey here. GOOD BYE!"

(SSSLLAASSHH)

Alexandria stabs Deborah in her heart, Alexandria begins to absorb Deborah's manna, Deborah begins to cough up blood, Alexandria looks at her and says; "May you find peace in heaven." Deborah smiles and replies; "I hope you can find peace as well someday"

Part 3- Deborah's soul

"My dear Deborah, it appears that my sickness is about to kill me, please take care of the Puritan Defense when I'm gone." The previous leader said those words to a 20-year-old Deborah.

Unfortunately, Deborah also had that terminal sickness, for that reason she would spend most of the time in bed trying to get better. Deborah was a great leader even though she couldn't move. Her followers were always by her side. However, many of the members saw Deborah as a weak leader and decided to leave the organization, the organization who had 100 members was down to only 12.

Deborah who is about to die begins to see all of his followers, she begins to cry and says:

"I'm sorry, you put your trust in me, but I fell you and now you are al dead with me."

"Don't worry my lady, we actually decided to accomplish this. We are you followers, now come with us, we shall continue to serve God, but this time, we will be closer." One of the followers extends his hand to Deborah who begins to smile, they begin to walk in a path of light, she looks back and begins to say:

"Uriel Di Fiore, I hope that someday you will break free form that curse and find true happiness."

Part 4 – Manhattan Park

Alexandria rips Deborah's heart out of her body killing her instantly. Uriel is shocked on what he just saw. Alexandria begins to drink the blood from the heart, after she finishes, and crushes the heart completely.

"NNNNOOOOO" Uriel screams of rage, he begins to feel anger and sadness as his eyes fill with tears seeing Deborah's body next to him.

(BBBAADDDUMMPP)

Alexandria begins to laugh as she says; "This power, it's so good, now my reincarnation is complete"

Uriel begins to think about the seal that Deborah gave him, he remembers Deborah telling him that he will know what to do. Uriel frees his right arm and touches Alexandria's back and begins to chant:

"Oh Lord, please separate this evil soul from her pure body, please save you daughter under you name."

A giant scare appears below, -GYYYAAAHHH- Alexandria screams, a green light begins to emerge, the manna shines too bright that makes everyone close her eyes. The only sound that was heard was the sound of rain falling into the ground. The light illuminating the park was blinking for the excessive energy.

Uriel breathes heavily; suddenly the chains disappear from his body. Uriel sees that the crest in his right arm disappear, a figure begins to emerge from the smoke. Uriel begins to asks:

'S-S-Samantha is that you?'

The smoke completely disappears revealing a more mature Alexandria. She is now in her appearance of a 20 –year-old; her hair is longer and has a much more developed body with bigger breast and a curvy figure. Alexandria begins to laugh and replies:

"I'm sorry, but I am not Samantha."

"But why did it not work, I used the spell to separate your body, I should have work?" Uriel says with tears in his eyes. Alexandria who is laughing begins to explain:

"The spell worked last time because it caught me off guard. But now I was aware of that spell. Plus, it requires the desire of the body, but it appears Samantha really enjoys having me inside her, too bad for you, you failed."

Uriel begins to scream out of anger and hits the ground:

"WHY, WHY, WHY AM I SO WEAK?"

Alexandria looks at Henry saying; "Thank you for the help, I will see you in Capital City"

Henry shows a thumps up, and Alexandria disappears from their sight. Johanna and Henry begin to walk towards a paralyzed Uriel. Uriel grabs Deborah's body and begins to cry:

"I'm sorry, I wasn't able to protect you, please forgive me Deborah."

"There is no use crying boy, it was necessary for her to die." Henry says with a serious expression. Uriel loses his charro form and begins to attack Henry, at that moment, Johanna steps in front blocks Uriel's punch. Johanna punches Uriel in the stomach and kicks him in the face. Uriel begin to bleed from his nose and mouth. Johanna looks at Uriel with hate and begins to kick him multiple times saying:

"How dare you try to attack my director? I should cut your hands for doing that thing."

"That's enough Johanna; I think he got the point." Henry says as he kicks Uriel in the face as well and steps on his chest.

"AAHHH" Uriel screams of pain and Henry smiles and says; "You had your manna drained from Alexandria, you fought the Sasquatch tribe, you fought the Wendigo and you went toe-to-toe with the Empire Devil. You have received a brutal punishment from both Johanna and me and yet. You are still conscious."

Uriel looks at Johanna and begins to asks:

"Why did you do that, what was your real mission all along?"

Johanna does not answer making Uriel scream with fury; "ANSWER ME!"

"She is not going to answer you, but I will." Henry replies as Johanna only looks at Uriel with a serious expression. Henry continues to speak:

"Do you want to know what Johanna's true mission is? Her true mission was to keep an eye on you but I think you already knew that. However, all the farce that she had to collect the seven keys was just to give us a motive to capture you."

"What do you mean by that?" Uriel asks Henry with a low tone. Henry continues to explain:

"You see, you are a threat for this country, I mean you are the horseman of war. A powerful entity that has been around for thousands of years and has been the trigger for all the great wars. It is natural that my higher ups thought of you as a threat. Now then Johanna's mission was to investigate the golden cities but her real mission was to find a way to blame you for the atrocities that were going to happen."

Uriel who breathes heavily looks at Johanna who turns away. Henry laughs and continues to speak:

"Now then, you have a number of charges that gives us a motive to arrest you: First the assassination of the mayor Sundance Bill in 1885. Yes, we know it was you. Next the kidnapping and destruction caused in Angel city. Then we go to Sin City where multiple witnesses saw you and a man with a mask working together and attack the Great Bay casino."

Uriel begins to remember those events and begins to say; "That wasn't my fault, plus I only protected…" Henry presses harder for Uriel to stop talking as he continues:

"Next we have the incident in the Northwestern Mountains, the mountain and a village got destroyed. After that, you went to the east coast and helped with the resurrection of one of the most pervasive people in the history of this country Alexandria, which brought the awakening of the headless horseman in Sleepy Hollow and the release of the Jersey devil. The woods near Bay city were destroyed, and now you caused panic here in Empire City with the Empire Devil."

Uriel tries to move but Henry presses harder and continues to speak:

"Finally you attempted to punch me, the director of the SIA. With this I must say Thank you, because I now have the right to take you with us to HQ. Good job, Agent Gomez, you have succeeded in your mission to capture Uriel Di Fiore. Now then Uriel it's time to go."

Henry kicks Uriel in the face, Uriel looks at Johanna, he breathes heavily as he begins to lose consciousness saying:

"I trusted you, why did you betray me?"
