Vol. 10 - Chapter 4: The City of Skyscrapers

Uriel sits in the chair and begins to think; "How did I end up here? Did Alexandria blow me all the way here?"

Lisa puts his hand on Uriel´s shoulder and asks; "Are you okay? You seem pretty scared." Uriel tries to calm down breathing slowly and replies:

"No, I´m okay, don´t worry."

Lisa stands up and says; "Well I´m getting pretty hungry, do you want to get something to eat?"

Uriel nods in agreement. Lisa and Uriel decide to eat in a restaurant close by; Lisa eats some hotcakes with honey, Uriel eats some scrambled eggs with bacon. "MMM-HHMM" Lisa says as she eats, "This is so good." Uriel smiles and eats his eggs.

"Hey Lisa, what are you doing here, I thought you were in Bay City?" Uriel asks Lisa, Lisa finishes eating and replies:

"Well, I was studying the flora on Bay City, but then I receive a call to come here, so here I am, and what about you? Why were you unconscious on the woods?"

"To be honest, I don't remember?" Uriel replies, Lisa begins to laugh along with Uriel. Lisa stands up and grabs Uriel´s hand saying:

"Come on; let's go explore this magnificent city."

Uriel smiles and replies:

"Alright, let's go."

Lisa and Uriel walk around the city, Uriel is surprised on how high the buildings were. They decide go to the tallest building known as the "Empire Building" which was about 1500 ft. tall.

"WOW, THIS IS INCREDIBLE!" Lisa shouts as they arrive at the top. They could see the whole city and far more places that go beyond a human sight. Uriel begins to feel the wind blowing and says:

"This is incredible; I didn't imagine there was a building that could reach the clouds."

Lisa turns around and smiles: "When I´m up this high, I feel that I am flying. This sensation makes me feel free. Don't you feel that way?"

"I feel the same as you." Uriel replies making a big smile. Lisa and Uriel walk along the famous tourist site known as the "Time Garden" which has many touristic places, Lisa buys some new clothes and changes into them. She has a French hat and a beautiful skirt, with legging and boots.

"Well, how do I look?" Lisa asks Uriel who is blushing; he makes a small cough and replies:

"You look great."

"Seriously, thank you." Lisa hugs Uriel causing him to panic thinking:

"CALM DOWN, SHE IS A NUN, PLUS YOU HAVE MARJORIE."

As they walk down in the Chinese part of the City, they go into a restaurant and eat very delicious Chinese food. Lisa cannot grab her chopsticks well and often lets the food fall. Uriel smiles and grabs a piece of chicken with his chopsticks and says:

"Here, I´ll help you. Say ahh"

Lisa blushes; she begins to smile and says "ahh" with her eyes close. Uriel feeds Lisa, they enjoy their meal together, after that, Lisa says to Uriel to go walk in a park. For that, they take a subway that runs across the city. Since the subway is very crowded, Uriel and Lisa must be closer than usual.

(BADUMP, BADUMP)

Uriel feels his heart increasing, and he begins to think:

"Calm down, you know that it is a sin if you hit on a nun, but she smells so good. SNAP OUT OF IT."

Uriel tries to look down and sees Lisa with her face being red, and he begins to blush thinking:

"DAMN IT, WHY DOES SHE LOOK SO CUTE."

People begin to move as they get off and on the subway, pushing into Lisa´s well develop body tighter to Uriel. Uriel freaks out; Lisa looks at Uriel with cute eyes saying:

"I´m sorry, this might be uncomfortable to you right?"

"N-N-Not at all, I´m okay." Uriel says as he looks up thinking; "Yeah right, I dying here."

"You´re doing well mocoso now grab her butt and everything will be fine." Uriel hears the voice of Nemesio, he begins to think; "Shut up, I have manners you know."

Finally, the train arrives at the destination, the crowd begins to move pushing Lisa away from Uriel, "LISA" Uriel says as he grabs her hand, he pulls her by his side and he leads the way until they get off the subway. As they go up Uriel notices that he is grabbing her hand, he looks at Lisa blushing and says:

"I´m sorry, I got carried away."

"N-N-No your just fine, thank you for not letting me goes away." Lisa says with a cute voice causing Uriel to "blow steam" from his head.

They begin to walk to a giant park known as "Manhattan Park." A giant park located in the middle of the city. It has thousands of large trees, and a lake in the middle. Due to the sudden change of the weather, the trees are covered in white because of the snow.

"Is it okay for a nun to wear that?" Uriel asks nervously, Lisa laughs and says:

"Well, technically I am a novice, so I can dress like this and do this."

Lisa kisses Uriel in the cheek causing him to blush. Lisa smiles at him, the sun is about to set, A woman wearing nun´s attire arrives and says:

"Lisa, it´s time to go."

"Coming" Lisa replies with a smile. She looks at Uriel and says:

"Thank you for being with me all day."

"No, thank you for saving my life, I wanted to pay you back, please take care." Uriel replies with a smile. Lisa begins to walk away saying:

"Uriel, we will meet each other soon, remember that."

Lisa leaves with the woman; Uriel sits in a bench near the lake and begins to say:

"Now what am I going to do?"

He looks at the lake, and throws a rock to the water-making splash. He looks at the reflection and another silhouette appears, it was Johanna who says:

"Hey lover boy, I take my eyes off you, and you are hitting on another girl?"

"J-J-JOAHHAANNNA" Uriel says with a surprised tone.

Lisa walks with the woman in the nun´s attire. She begins to speak:

"He really is a kind person, no wonder Marjorie fell for him, I think I would want to keep him when this is over, or what do you think?"

The woman lifts her face and reveals a golem´s face, the golem looks at Lisa and says:

"You may do what you want with Uriel, but first I must have his powers." The voice of Aleister is heard through the golem. Lisa smiles and asks:

"So, what would be my next mission?"

"You are to keep watch from distance, if the White Witch tries to kill Uriel, you must stop her." Aleister orders Lisa, Lisa smiles and says:

"Very well, now I will continue with my mission, are you in Florida?"

"We will arrive there in 1 hour, the sixth key will appear in 2 days, but right now I want to enjoy my time with Marjorie." Aleister says to Lisa, Lisa laughs:

"Well, well, are you going to do naughty things to her?"

"I thought you were a nun, isn't that forbidden for you?"Aleister asks Lisa, "I am just a novice remember, I can think the way I want."

"Very well, I will leave you now, good luck." Aleister stops the communication; Lisa makes the golem disappear as she thinks:

"I wonder how Uriel will react when he finds out the truth."

Johanna stands next to Uriel who nervously says:

"Johanna, it's been a while, I´m glad that you are okay."

Johanna who is smiling with a "red aura" of jealousy looks at Uriel and says:

"Did you miss me? Because from what I just saw, you were having fun with a girl that was not me."

"It´s not what it looks like, I was just exploring the city with Lisa that is all," Uriel says as he avoids looking at Johanna directly. Johanna gets closer to Uriel saying:

"Well then sure had fu with her right? Now then let me give you your punishment."

Johanna hugs Uriel and with tears in her eyes, she thanks Uriel:

"THANK YOU FOR RISKING YOU LIFE FOR ME; NO ONE HAS EVER DONE THAT."

Uriel smiles and hugs her back saying; "It´s okay, I will always do whatever it takes to help the ones I care about."

Johanna blushes and let us go of Uriel. She turns around feeling her heart beat increase, -BADUMP, BADUMP- Johanna smiles and turns around, she walks forward one more time and says:

"I want to thank you properly."

She pulls Uriel towards her and kisses him in the mouth, Uriel is shocked as their lips join, however Uriel feels pain in his lower lip. He lets go of Johanna and says:

"Hey, did you just bite me?"

Johanna who was blushing touches her lips and replies; "Sorry, I got a little carried away."

Uriel begins to see as the light of a setting sun illuminates Johanna, he begins to feel his heart beat raise. –BADUMP, BADUMP, BADUMP-

"What is the matter, did I shock you? Maybe I should give you another one."

Uriel comes back to his senses and makes a little cough saying; "No, no, one is just fine." Johanna begins to laugh and sits in the bench, Uriel sits next to her. After an awkward moment of silence, Johanna breaks the silence by commenting:

"So, you revived the White Witch ehh, what happen to the young witch?"

Uriel lowers his head and replies; "Samantha tricked me into helping her, after that she sacrifice her life and gave her body to the White Witch."

"I see, well you must be glad, you survived that powerful attack from the White Witch. Now then I must tell you my new mission." Johanna says to Uriel, Uriel looks at Johanna and asks:

"What new mission?"

"I must escort the descendant of the Puritan Defense pastor; Edward Williams." Johanna replies to Uriel, Uriel remembers on what Nemesio said to him in his realm. Uriel then asks:

"So, who is the descendent of Edward Williams?"

"A woman who is called Deborah Williams, she is currently the leader of the last Puritans, she is here in this city and it appears that your girlfriend Alexandria wants her for some reason." Johanna replies to Uriel, he looks at the water of the lake where ducks begin to swim next to them. Uriel begins to think about Alexandria and begins to think:

"If I go with her, I might meet Alexandria." Uriel lifts his head and looks at Johanna saying:

"Johanna, I will come with you, if there is a chance I could meet Alexandria then I will take it."

"What´s this, did you fall in love with her?" Johanna says with a lewd smile. Uriel shakes his head and replies:

"It´s nothing like that, I just want to talk to her."

"Very well, you can come with me, but don't interfere with my mission okay." Johanna says as she looks at Uriel with a jealous expression. Uriel and Johanna stand up and head towards where Deborah was located. As they walk into the park, Uriel begins to feel a strange presence.

"What is this, I feel strange, it's like something is making me sick," Uriel thinks to himself as he begins to breathe heavily, however he continues walking.

(PUUM)

Uriel bumps into a man, the man has large hair, a pale skin and his eyes are close. He drops his cane; Uriel sees it and picks it up saying:

"I´m sorry, I did not look where I was going."

"Not to worry, I was I who did not notice you; I will try to be more careful." The man says with a smile, Johanna looks at the man with suspicion, Uriel gives the cane to the man who had gloves and grabs it saying:

"Thank you, it sure is cold here right?"

"Yes it is, just try to not fall okay sir." Uriel replies with a smile. The man begins to cough as if he was sick, Uriel asks the man; "Are you okay?"

"Yes, yes, it´s just the flu for the sudden change of weather." The man replies as he coughs more. The man begins to leave as he says:

"Well then, I´m on my way, we will meet again, Horseman of War."

"What did you say?" Uriel begins to walk towards the man but a strong wind hits the park. Uriel and Johanna close their eyes, when they open them again they see that the man was gone leaving Uriel thinking; "Why did he know who I was? Who was that man?"

"Uriel do you know that man?" Johanna asks Uriel who was looking pale. "No, I have never seen him before, however I feel like I know him from somewhere." Uriel replies as he turns around and they continue walking forward.

In the ceiling of a skyscraper, El Muerto was watching Uriel from distance; he looked at what just happened and says:

"It is said that it would be difficult to see two of the horsemen together at the same time, and yet two of them are here in this city. Why would he make contact with Uriel? Does he have something in mind or did he just come here for vacation? I must observe closely."

El Muerto begins to elevate to sky in order to follow Uriel and Johanna. Meanwhile, Agent Watson was eating in a restaurant; he receives a message from Johanna that says:

"I made contact with Uriel, he agreed to help out, and everything is going according to plan."

Watson smiles and says; "Excellent, we will complete our mission for the sake of this country, good luck Johanna."
