Vol. 1 - Chapter 12: The Successor

Part 1- Office of International Bank

"Well, well so they did survive and El Charro Negro is protecting him." A man in a wheel chair says it while laughing.

"You should have stayed in bed sir; it has not been even 6 hours." An employee tells the man.

"Silence, you idiot, there must be no suspicion." The man says to him revealing himself as Darius. He had bandages in all his body and he wears his dark glasses as well. The office has pictures of Roberto with a black ribbon in signs of respect

"Father, are you in there?" The voice of Aleister is heard.

"Yes son I´m here." Darius replies.

Aleister enters the room with some of his bodyguards and makes a question to Darius:

"So what is your next move father, the cities of gold are incomplete and the red moon is gone."

"Don´t worry my son the attack in "that" base was a success last night and we got our second objective thanks to the Red Moon. Do not worry it was not in vain plus I killed that idiot of Roberto."

Darius explains to his son. Aleister leaves the room leaving Darius thinking what his next option was. Darius receives a call from the voice of a man through the phone and it says:

"Good work, Darius, you got rid of the Solitary Wolf. It will take eight years for another red moon, be patient. We will get that treasure. I need to inform you; the horsemen of War got his successor. As there is another horseman, we must be in high alert. In the mean time take over the border city, "Tree and Order" will soon make a move as well so be in alert."

Darius replies: "Yes sir, mission accomplish, we are Enlightened."

"We are Enlightened." The man in the phone says it as he ends the call leaving Darius laughing in his office over his victory.

Part 2- Rio Grande Airport

Three days have passed. Juan de la Trinidad left to the city of Tapatio to make preparations. In the airport Uriel, Valerie, Daniel, Maria and Sister Griselda walk down the aisle preparing to go on board the airplane.

Valerie and Daniel are still crying about their father´s death and Maria has not smile since the incident. Uriel has a brave attitude and tries to avoid a depressed facial expression but deep inside he is sad too.

"Come on you two cheer up, now, Papa would be very angry if don't smile." Uriel says to his siblings who both nod at him cleaning up the tears in their faces.

"That is more like it now then let´s go." Uriel grabs both of their hands to get aboard.

"You have a brave boy Maria; you should put the example as well dear." Sister Griselda tells Maria who lifts her head up with a determine face and boards the plane as well.

While they were sitting, she turns around to see her children and says:

"I´m sorry for being weak, but from now on I will be the head of the family." Maria puts great smile in her face making her children smile as well.

"Well those are beautiful smiles, I miss those faces." Sister Griselda smiles as well.

The plane begins to move slowly getting ready to take off, Uriel sees in the window and begins to remember all of his life in the Borderland. He remembers his father's face as his father smiled at him in his vision. The plane takes off and as the borderland begins to disappear from his sight, Uriel sees his mark on the forearm knowing that he is now "El Charro."

He thinks to himself: "Uriel Vazquez died on that day and one day he will be revived, but for now my new name is Uriel Di Fiore: The new "Charro Negro"
