II. Overcoming adversities

Since I cannot Load or Save at all, it was the biggest problem ever since I got here.

This boss can 1 hit in theory with his stats.

Since I have 110 unallocated points I had no choice but to use them.

Currently my stats are.

Vit |:86

Dex |:21

Armor|: 105

I have mistral weapon and the exploding runes to my arsenal that is very skill that I have right now that I can use to deal massive damage, since mistral weapon will now rely on my int as well I might as well do that.

I decided to put 64 on my vit, and 46 on my int, with this I used up all my status points.

So now I have 150 vit and 172 int.

Status:

(I would like to share my status points calculation to avoid any confusions)

str 10 damage per 1 status point

agi 2 attk spd/mvnt spd per 1 status point

vit 50 hp per 1 stats point

int 50 mp per 1 stats point

dex 1% casting speed per point and 5 accuracy

With this I should be able to fight him head on without worrying about my health, but I still haven't seen him display his other skills that would be probably what's the most crucial thing about this, but based on the skill name it should be obvious enough what they could do.

With his skill set, he's probably extremely fast despite his giant stature.

If he's just going to stay there, then it's probably for the best, I can just wait all day until he dies.

And retreat is not my option anymore since the door behind is already closed, I couldn't notice it a while ago, but it seems like it will automatically closed after the appearance of the boss.

I ran out of idea, if he survives all the trap that I made, I have no choice but to fight him head on.

My current plan is that, if he rushes forward, I'm gonna make my exploding rune in the middle of the stairs, explode, it should be strong enough to make the stairs collapse on the specific part, and if fall down, beneath that part, I placed 6 exploding runes, it should deal a huge amount of damage.

It ruined my plan, but at the same time it was a relief because I can probably just use my exploding rune anywhere on this room.

Aside from the continuous firing of my ballistas, I used my exploding rune and placed it where he is located right now and make it explode.

The boss suddenly emitted a green light surrounding him and then compressing all that mana into his body, enveloping his body with a calm green light.

He then bended both his knees leaving a crack on the floor, and then using that force to launch himself forward to my location.

He made a sonic boom on the air, because of the speed that he is travelling right now.

As soon as he got the near the exploding rune that I placed on the middle of the stair, I made it explode, but it didn't make him flinch at all.

In just a matter of a few seconds, he was already near me, and I am already in his attack range.

He raised his giant axe, swinging it downwards with extreme force, I quickly used my short blink to make some distance, his attack was very powerful it made the floor shatter some of it's stones.

I removed all my ballista, and made a sword and a kite shield, I quickly triggered the exploding rune he is stepping on right now, using the smoke from the exploding rune as a cover, once again I used my short blink to get near him.

Coming out of the smoke was his tail, aiming for my head, it was quick but I reacted fast enough to use my sword to parry it, at the same time of parrying, was his gauntlet coming out of the smoke as well, it was a downward punch aimed directly to my chest, unable to block it made me smash my body to the floor, due to the impact it made my body bounced at least 20ft. into the air, because of that I spat some blood out of my mouth.

The boss did not waste any moment at all, he jumped just right above me, and charged his gauntlet with a red mana compressing all into his gauntlet, since I am still in mid-air there was no way to dodge the attack.

Thanks to the years of my gaming experience, I was able to react fast enough.

I quickly used my fast healing and used my shield to block his next attack, even though I managed to successfully block it, it made me slam my body to the floor again, but I didn't bounced back this time, because of the impact the dust around the floor scattered, making a smokescreen of dust, I couldn't see him because of the dust but I can see a bunch of red lights glowing. I knew that it was his rain of fire skill, I stood up quickly and used my short blink to dodge all of them, one after another I was able to dodge all of them.

While I was busy dodging all those fireballs, I forgot about the boss for a moment, he came back down from above using the momentum of falling down he swung his giant axe downwards again to attack me, but I was able to dodge it by hair's breadth, he followed up another attack using his tail as a whip to attack me, I couldn't react fast enough to block or dodge it.

It sent me flying to the right side of the room, smashing my body against the wall.

Thanks to my return damage, I was able to deal some damage just from blocking.

If I didn't use my fast healing during the first attack I'm probably dead by now.

In total I already dealt 14,450

He still have a remaining of 35,550 hp remaining I still have a long way to go.
