Seeing Chiyo's improvement made Theo feel proud for her, "Amazing Chiyo, you did it all by yourself!"
"It was all thanks to your guidance Master!" Chiyo Responded in a happy tone
"That's actually our goal right now, for you to be able to beat the next boss on your own, so we're going to have very rigorous training right now"
"Ehhhhh!! Is that even possible?! Didn't you raise the bar too high?!" Chiyo shouted
"well it's not entirely impossible so good luck I guess" Says Theo
With Chiyo's Stats growth and unallocated status point and skill points it might be doable, but the only problem is enemies with magic resistant she might have a hard time dealing with them, so passive skills or active skills about penetrating magic would make Chiyo even more stronger as she levels up.
Theo and Chiyo decided to move on to the next 9 floor down, but this time Theo will not help Chiyo so she has to fight by herself while Theo watches for any danger.
"Chiyo you need to fight, without using any skills points and status points right now, so we can plan ahead what your skill specialization would be" Theo suggested
"I don't get what that means but ok yeah sure" Chiyo was very excited to test out her new skills she didn't bother asking anything.
They moved on to the next floor and fought against a mob of Goblins and 2 Hobgoblins
1 of the Hobgoblins, a slightly bigger Goblin with ripped muscles and a long black hair reaching all the way to the ground is holding a giant chipped rusty blade.
While the other Hobgoblin is holding a staff are standing behind the mobs of Goblins.
The goblins that are in the front lines are holding a wooden shield and wooden clubs.
while the other has wooden arrows to cover the front liners

Right now Chiyo is Lvl 14, and her int. stats value is currently 66 with a remaining 55 unallocated skill points, her only way of damaging them is with fireball or Ice needle but they are both lvl 1 skill, so it would be challenging for Chiyo to do this, but it was a perfect scenario for Theo because this way Chiyo will be able to develop her battle skills where you don't get from just leveling up but actually experiencing battle where you life is on the line.
"Chiyo, this is going to be different than before, Hobgoblins and goblins works as a group so they have the ability to think of a strategies and not to mention some of them are holding up shields while some has bows, so you have to be careful because I'm not going to save you, if you die here today that means that you're nothing special and your dream of standing on your own 2 feet will never come true!"
In Theo's mind he knew it was harsh but she has to make Chiyo feel what a real battle is, and the fact that Theo will not always be by Chiyo's side to protect her.
The Old Chiyo would probably shake in fear and get killed instantly, but the Chiyo who was standing before Theo was full of determination to grow stronger it was as if it was an entirely different person.
Seeing Chiyo as she is now, made Theo feel a little bit relief because he somehow feels like Chiyo will never lose right now.
Graaaaaaaa! The goblins roared and they started charging on to Chiyo, the front liners quickly sprinted all the way to Chiyo because she might cast a large scale spell so they can stop it before it happens, On the back side of the Charging goblins the archers prepared their bow to cover the charge.
"Ice Needle"
a thin ice forming a needle like appearance appeared out of thin air at first glance you would think that it would shatter just from touching anything. like a fragile glassware.
As the first goblin was about to reach Chiyo She quickly aimed at the nearest goblin breaking his shield and ripping out the goblins left hand, the ice needle continued to travel all the way to the back hitting one of the archers and instantly killing the archer.
As the first goblin begins to trip from the pain of getting his arm ripped off, the other 3 goblins who was right behind him tripped as well stopping their advance.
The remaining 3 goblins who was still charging tried to charged Chiyo with their wooden shield since it was a narrow place there was no room to dodge, and Chiyo being a mage probably can't jump over them.
"Fireball"
Chiyo took a small leap forward and fired of the fireball aiming on the ground, using the explosion to boost her jump and also breaking the formation of the goblins.
From afar the archers aimed directly for Chiyo while she was still in mid air, because they Knew that it would be impossible for her to dodge.
"Fireball!"
Once again Chiyo used her fireball aiming for the rain of arrows, using the explosion to destroy the incoming arrows.
One of arrows managed to pass through the Explosion and it hit Chiyo's left arm leaving her wounded.
As she fell lying on the ground the 3 goblins who tripped stood up and took their wooden clubs from the ground, but they lined up perfectly in a straight line.
"Ice needle!"
it was the perfect opportunity for Chiyo.
Aiming for the head it pierced through the skull of the 3 charging goblins killing them instantly.
She quickly stood up and casted another fireball aiming at the dead bodies who was near her to produce some covering smoke from both the archers and the remaining goblins with shields, since she's in the middle of both.
while hiding on the smoke, the archers decided to shoot blindly at the smoke, and the nearest shield goblin decided to walk alone though the smoke to look for her.
