-Broly's farm-

"Broly, you must leave quickly before it's too late!"

"Gretel? What happened? Why are you panicking?" Lucy came in as she held onto the maid who was busy catching her breath.

"I-I tried to persuade Jude-sama, to make him see reason. B-but I failed!" She began crying, her eyes watering from sadness and regret. "He wouldn't listen… he wouldn't listen… he wouldn't listen… please… leave this place before they arrive."

Lucy began panicking, what did her father do to make Gretel react in such a manner?

"Calm down Gretel… I need you to explain what happened. Take a deep breath and tell me what my father did."

"Hn, here." Broly came in with a basket filled with fruits, vegetables, and meat–then handed it to Gretel.

"This is not the time to eat, Broly!" Lucy exclaimed, wondering why the heck he was thinking of food at this moment!

"Food is good. It makes me happy whenever I'm sad… and I'm also hungry."

"..."

After a short breakfast, where the Saiyan ate most of the food. Gretel soon calmed down enough to gather her thoughts and speak properly.

"Lucy-sama, after you left the estate we did our best to hide this fact from Jude-sama of your whereabouts. But we could only do so much before he found out about your absence."

"I'm sorry I forced you all to do this..." Lucy said, remorseful of her brash decision which brought trouble to the servants.

Gretel shook her head, "No, we understand how you are feeling now. Without Layla-sama, Jude-sama has become increasingly cold towards everyone. Living in such an environment is not healthy for a young girl like you. We want you to be happy, even after her death, we promised to take care of you like one of our own."

"You guys…" Lucy felt her heart warm up from those words… they along with Broly were the only true family she had left.

"As I was saying, Jude-sama did not take well to your disappearance–especially when he found out that you fled here to Broly. From his own words, the fact that you spend so much time with a hooligan tainted his image and the reputation of the Heartfilia name. We tried our best to calm him down, but he remained stubborn. Just this morning, I found out from the gatekeeper that Zoldeo went out of town to deliver a package somewhere. A bad feeling crept into my heart and I just knew that something wasn't right. After further inquiries with the other servants, I found out that Zoldeo arranged a meeting with Jose Portla–the guild master of Phantom Lord."

Lucy's eyes widened at the implication while Broly was focused on munching on a piece of meat. "Yo-you ca-can't mean that father… he wouldn't go so far… would he?" She couldn't say. Her father was no different from a stranger to her, Lucy barely knew him for most of her life, he'd always been busy with his work, never spending any time with her.

"I'm afraid so, that's why you must leave the place. Phantom Lord is known to be one of the most powerful guilds in Ishgar, only being rivaled by Fairy Tail. We are not dealing with small fries like the Gorians, but actual powerful threats. These people take on these monsters as a pastime and Phantom Lord specifically is known to be particularly vicious with their method. They have caused more damage to their enemy than any guild I know of." Gretel said, looking terrified of what was to come to Broly if he didn't leave before Phantom Lord arrived.

She saw the feats of his strength but never had she seen him at his strongest. So in turn, the maid put Broly's strength a bit above the regular beast like Gorians and Vulcans. In her eyes, the wizards from guilds were an unstoppable force of nature capable of destroying entire towns if they wanted. She remembered witnessing the magical prowess of a Wizard Saint when she was a little girl. The scene of an entire forest sprouting from the ground and destroying an entire army of monsters and dark guild mages still haunted her dreams to this day. And Jose was a Wizard Saint as well! 'Broly won't stand a chance against them!'

After that she continued to plead Broly to run away as far as possible, going to the extent of offering him a stay in her village for him to hide in for a while. But he just continued to deny her request, looking unconcerned by the impending doom. Saying things like, "I'm strong." or "I will talk to them." over and over again.

Lucy was a bit lost on what to do. She still couldn't believe her father would go to such a length to harm Broly which he ignored the existence of for so long. She expected a few yelling and threats… but to immediately call upon the might of a powerful guild on a single man living on a small farm? Just because he thought it was bad for his image!? It disturbed her how far he had fallen… At this point did he even care about her?

'I need to do something!' Broly was an innocent person. All he did was accept her and take her in whenever she felt sad or angry. He was more of a family to her than her own biological father! Yet the fact that even after all of this, instead of worrying about his daughter… the man worried more about his image.

"It's okay, let them come "

"What!?"

"Yes, I'm strong enough

"Are you crazy!?"

"I… don't think so?" Gretel did call him crazy once before so Broly wasn't so sure.

"These aren't just your run-of-the-mill wizards! The people from Phantom Lord are recognized to be one of the strongest mages in the world! They even have S-ranked wizards who can take on an army of monsters all by themselves. You shouldn't underestimate them just because you're the strongest in this area." She knew Broly was strong but wind magic and strength enhancement magic won't cut it in this case. From 'Sorcerer Weekly!' She found out that the guild had some promising newcomers. An unknown mage who can control metal and another one who can change the weather with her sheer presence. 'Like how freaking powerful one should be to affect the literal weather!?' Lucy just couldn't wrap her head around the concept. Even Aquarius–her strongest water Celestial Spirit–couldn't do that!

...

Somewhere a young bluenette wearing many layers of winter clothing sneezed.

"Is someone talking about Juvia?"

...

The Saiyan just raised his eyebrows giving her a confused stare, looking at her as if she said something stupid. "I can take them on." With that said, he returned to his shack and resumed his day as if nothing major had happened.

"Are you serious!? You stay inside, I'll take care of this!" This was the first time, Lucy ordered Broly.

{Break}

(The next day)

"Hey, you sure this is where the giant in the woods is living?"

Just outside the forest, a pair of wizards were standing in the open surveying the area.

"Yeah, the quest had been specifically handed to master Jose, so there shouldn't be any doubt that the information is accurate as well."

The first one who spoke was a tall man with short blue hair. Wearing a jacket that matched his color as well as having ten magical rings on each of his fingers.

The second man was a giant to the local people. He stood well above two meters with bulking muscles that threatened to tear apart his clothes. An air of arrogance surrounded the two wizards as being members of one of the strongest guilds of Ishgar brought a certain level of prestige.

"I tell you, Roze, if it weren't for the five million Jewels rewards, I wouldn't have bothered leaving my girlfriend's side. We had a date planned today, even got that brat Gajeel to stop eating the metal from my carriage I bought recently."

"Which one?" Asked Roze.

"What do you mean which one?"

"Which of your girls are you talking about? I lost count after nine. You always get a new one every week, Bal."

"Oh, you know her! Remember that blonde girl with big breasts? The one who uses clone magic?"

"Isn't she rumored to be a dark mage? A few of the former 'boyfriends' mysteriously vanished a couple of months ago."

"Hogwash! Claudia-chan is an angel! She couldn't even hurt a fly if she tried." BAL exclaimed in denial, not giving an ounce of credibility to the rumor.

Roze just rolled his eyes, BAL sooner or later will get himself into deep trouble with the way he lived his life and the people he hung around with. Though as a fellow guild member he wanted to give the man some advice, the latter barely listened to him. 'Oh well, he's not my problem.'

"Let's just go and finish off this so-called giant. From master Jose's words, this person trespassed onto the Heartfilia owned land and refused to leave even after countless warnings." Roze said, remembering the guild master's words. "He is described to be highly dangerous so we are advised to attack him on sight."

Bal just snorted dismissively, "What dangerous? I bet the guy's just a country bumpkin who came upon a magical weapon and thinks he's all tough now. Or a mediocre wizard who is just using his trash-like skills to scare the locals." All of a sudden his eyes lit up in expectation. "Oh wait! Wasn't the client's daughter also kidnapped?!"

Roze, seeing the look behind his partner's eyes, immediately knew of the latter's intentions. "She's barely a teenager."

"Who cares! I can swoop in like a charming prince and save her from the grasp of the evil giant and make her fall in love with me. If she's cute, I'll keep an eye on her for a while until she's older. And if in the end her daddy's rich and she becomes a hottie, I'll take her." He said with a malevolent grin.

"You're disgusting, Bal."

"Love you too buddy."

The walk through the forest was interesting to say the least.

The local fauna seemed to avoid them for some reason. Especially the Gorian who fled at the sight of Roze.

This made them curious as with previous encounters with their cousin species the Vulcans, those beasts didn't hesitate to attack them–even after they continuously beat the crap out of them.

But these ones fled like they saw the grin reaper appear in front of them.

"Curious don't you think?" Said the hulking wizard as he searched the area.

"Not really, you're not exactly the best-looking guy–unlike me."

"Sock it before I do it." Roze threatened, his patience running thin. "I see a clearing up ahead, and the area shows signs of a recent flood-like attack… most likely a water mage."

They carefully walked forward until they reached the clearing. A flat land where they found a wooden shack and a small vegetable field.

"Well… this must be the giant's home." Commented Bal.

As they were about to start their search, a voice stopped them in their tracks. "Wait!"

From the shack, a young girl with blonde hair came out running in panic.

"Not bad~"

Roze had to step away from the creep, thinking that he should probably call the Rune Knights on him.

"Please, don't do this! This is all a misunderstanding, my father is lying! Broly didn't do anything wrong, he's just living here without disturbing anyone." Lucy pleaded, hoping that these men would listen.

"Doesn't look like a hostage or captured princess situation to me… don't you think so Roze?"

"It is to be expected for some information to be misleading during these kinds of quests. The client can be biassed in their claims… but our objective remains the same–remove this Broly from the land and return Lucy Heartfilia to her father."

"Then capture it is! Ring magic, [Wind lock]!"

Shhhh

One of the rings on his fingers glowed brightly with the wind around Lucy picking up speed, almost locking her in place.

"Ring magic!?" She immediately recognized the holder-type magic. It was a type of Magic that allowed the caster to cast different Magics and spells with special rings. The rings are meant to enhance the wielder's Magic Power, granting them the ability to cast various spells for different purposes; some can be used for everyday use or solely for combat.

"Why the heck are you attacking me!?"

"Cause it's much easier to bring in an unconscious body back to the client!" Bal said as he began laughing like a mad man.

"Are you even here to 'save' me!?"

"Don't sweat the details!"

Lucy dived to the right barely dodging the spell. She saw another 4 ring glow in his hand signifying that she would have to find a way to dodge multiple spells at the same time.

'Only one way to deal with this.' Not having enough time to create a source of water, she chose the alternative. She thanked Spetto-san in her head, she really helped her out by passing on to her the key her mother once used.

"Open, [Gate of Cancer]!"

A golden light emerged from the key taking the shape of a man who looked like a hairdresser with twin crab-like scissors.

"What kind of hairstyle would you like today? -Ebi"

"Not the time for that!" Lucy wasn't done yet. "Open, [Gate of Taurus]!

In the familiar form of a ripped half-man and half-bull appeared wielding a great axe.

"Mooooooo! Lucy-san's loli boobies!!!"

"Shut up, you perverted cow!"

The sudden appearance of two new people on the field shocked the duo. Roze grew more serious when he realized that the mission might not be as simple as he had thought at first. "A Celestial Wizard, huh… able to summon two golden spirits no less–impressive."

"Taurus, attack that blue-haired man, while Cancer here will take care of that Broly wannabe. Attack!"

Taurus was the first one to engage his opponent, Bal.

"Mooooooo! With Labrys and Lucy-san's boobs by my side, I can't lose! Take this, [Rampage]!" Taurus jumped into the air and swung his axe, Labrys. He subsequently lowered the axe on the ground with both of his arms, generating an earthquake on contact, which moved in a straight line towards the target, splitting the ground and blasting rocks in the air.

"Shit, [Light shield]!" Bal, blocked his attack with one of his rings shattering into tiny particles and forming a shield around him.

Bam!

The impact of the attack sent him flying back.

"I'm not done yet!" Taurus was relentless, he continued to swing Labrys like a mad berserker. "Break! Break! Break! Break!" With each of his hits, the shield would show signs of cracks and damage. Bal knew if he didn't find a solution quick then he would lose here to a little girl!

From his 8 remaining rings, he called forth another spell. "[Storm Fall]!"

The first he used was to immobilize Lucy and render her unconscious. But this one was even more powerful as it not only trapped the opponent but also threw them hundreds of meters in the air.

"Waaaaaah!!!!" Taurus flew upwards, unable to control his movement the bovine could only watch helplessly as he began plunging downwards at a high speed.

Boom!

"Kargh!" Taurus nearly fell unconscious from the pain but stayed awake through sheer willpower. "I… will not… fail!"

Using his axe as leverage, Taurus stood up once again–ready for another round of battle.

"You are a strong blue-haired man, but can you block this!? [Tension Max]!" With a single arm, Taurus swung his Labrys with immense strength. The axe went flying through the air spinning like a Beyblade till it hit Bal's [Light Shield] and shattered it completely.

The attack continued on and hit the ring wizard in the guts, making him go down from the battle.

"You did it, Taurus!" Lucy cried out in joy.

"Anything for Lucy-san!" The bovine said while giving her a thumbs up. "Can I get to touch your boobs?"

"No!" She proceeded to send him back. Calling two of her spirits was taxing enough, but each of their major attacks also drew out more of her magical energy. "Thanks anyway."

Lucy changed her attention to Cancer who was busy dealing with the huge Phantom Lord wizard.

Unlike Taurus' great strength, Cancer was remarkably more dexterous and fast, being capable of performing swift hand movements and wielding his signature scissors with great speed.

He dodged every attack from Roze, dancing around the man while trying to use his scissors on his opponent; with little to no success.

Whenever the metal came into contact with his skin, it wouldn't cut through and instead produce sparks.

"Armor skin magic? –Ebi"

"You have guessed correctly." Roze's skin slowly changed from his tanned color to a more greyish dark color and the texture turned into that of a rock. "[Rock Mountain Spirit] with this spell, I'm invulnerable to all physical attack… give up young girl.".

"You won't take me back to that monster!"

"He is your father." Roze tried to reason with her. He may be a member of Phantom Lord sho were infamous for their more brutal approach to some quests unlike their rival; Fairy Tail. But he on the other hand always wished to take the peaceful route first.

Talking things out always helped, it made him understand the other party more and give him more time to prepare.

Now that he thought about it, where is that giant that they had been sent on a quest to remove? Roze thought that with them starting the fight he would have appeared sooner or later.

Anyways, he'll worry about that later... Now he had to concentrate on her.

"Your father was very worried about you. He asked for master Jose himself to come to your rescue... He just trying to be a good father." Roze lied a bit. Aside the quest information, they got little to no other intel on the situation. But he hoped his words would resonate with the girl.

"What a surprise, he certainly doesn't act like one." Lucy was running out of magic energy. The more she got weaker, the less effective Cancer becomes as Celestial Spirit's strength scales with their summoner. 'I don't have enough magical energy to summon Aquarius and I refuse to ask Broly for help. This is all my fault and I will fix it by myself!'

But how could she defeat a man-made out… of… stone… The waterfall!

A promising idea emerged in her head, she only needed to get close to that area and it'll help her defeat this wizard.

"Cancer, take me to my favorite area, quick!"

"Understood. –Ebi"

Using his enhanced speed, the Celestial Spirit picked the young girl up and disappeared into the forest.

"You can't run away from me!" Roze began running after them, with his entire body being turned into a rock, each of his footsteps made the earth tremble. The trees got blown away as the man bulldozed through them like a juggernaut.

He looked like an unstoppable force, slowly shortening the distance between him and Lucy.

"Quick, he's gaining on us!" Lucy yelled.

"You're almost out of magical energy. –Ebi"

"Then we'll use every last drop on a single attack… now!"

They had soon reached the water where the spirit ran across a small bridge.

It was built right above the waterfall by the locals years ago. It was the ideal place to defeat this guy and bypass his stone skin magic.

The bridge tensed as another weight came to stand on top of it. Making it look like it would break from the slightest movement.

"You're at the end of the line, please don't make this harder than it already is," Roze said as he had caught up to both of them.

"Oh yeah? Then I'll make this quest impossible for you. Cancer now!"

With her signal, the Celestial Spirit jumped high in the air with Lucy hanging around his neck. His glasses and scissors gleamed under the sunlight as he brought his weapons up in the air. "You need a haircut. –Ebi"

Swish!

A white crescent of energy descended as he swung his scissors in a wide arc. The attack cut off the bridge's main support line; making it collapse.

"What!?" Roze was caught off guard from the sudden change and fell down below to the waterfall. In his panic, he forgot to remove his rock skin magic making him sink down the water… like a rock. Fearing drowning the man successfully turned off his magic, but he didn't account for his momentum and bad timing to make his head hit the ground with great force–making him pass out completely.

"Yes! We did it!" Near a cliff overlooking the waterfall, Lucy danced in the air as she, all by herself, beaten two Phantom Lord wizards! "Oh my god I really did it, did you see that Broly!?"

Her head was turned to the sky where she saw the Saiyan overlooking the entire events till this point–making sure to be close by if Lucy failed.

"You did good. You've gotten stronger." He said with a slight grin on his face. His tone carried a hint of pride as the young girl he met all those years ago turned into an amazing warrior. He wondered if this is how Paragus felt whenever he got stronger.

"Still I should have confronted them instead." Though he may have been proud of her accomplishment, he still worried about her and didn't want to put her in danger.

Lucy shook her head, "No, this is all my fault, to begin with, and mom always taught me to solve my own problems." She always kept her mother's lesson to heart. She wanted to be like her when she grows up.

"Hn, but what are we going to do about your…"

Yes, even if they'd dealt with the Phantom Lord wizards today, more will come if her father didn't remove the quest. Those who came today weren't even considered to be the guild's best wizards; let alone an S-ranked mage.

So she needed to deal with this issue once and for all.

"Broly, can you bring me back to my house? I need to have a word with my dad… it's time to end this."

AN:

It's been a long time! Two months? A month and a half? Don't remember.

Well, bad news, I've been lacking any motivation or ideas for this story. But fortunately, Shigiya and my other betas came to the rescue and rekindle my interest in the story.

For those who are searching for a planet busting Broly, then you won't find him here I'm afraid. Broly going mad won't necessarily destory the world, especially after earth survived in the latest movie.

So despite being the strongest being on the planet and yet not choosing the destroy it feels like a nerf to some then just don't read this.

This fic will also explore the other characters outside Broly and what changes his existance had brought upon them. And the adventure side as well, of course there will be epic battles.

Long ass AN done.

That's all,
