Chapter One - JACK

JACKIE POV

Hi, I'm Jackie Aphrodite Cullen-Kim 'JACK', for short. I'm not like anyone else. I'm a cold-hearted person with an emotionless eye and a cold voice. I don't know why I am like this. I often saw visions when I was a child. Until one day my foster parents die in front of me, and the parents of my friend, that's the reason why I don't like to have friends, cause I know someone was watching me from afar also, that day I discovered my true self that I am not an ordinary person.

It's July 24, 20**. I walked around the street to go home, but I felt something that someone was following me from school until now. However, I didn't pay any attention to that thing. Until I felt nervous, that was so rare that something would not be good to happen, I just rushed to go home to look for my foster parents, and I felt relieved when I saw the house well-groomed and in a good state. I went inside the house to find my parents, but there's no one answering me. I look at them in every room, but there's no trace of them. I've tried to look at the back of the house and I see blood scattered on the ground. I've never imagined that my foster parents will die in this way. I roamed around my eyes until it stuck on them lying on the ground, full of blood. I go near them and hug them that I never do.

I wanted to cry, but no one tears came out of my eyes. All I want is to take revenge for them.

"Princess, no.. need...t..to take revenge. I love you no matter what went on here. Go, let yourself out of this mess. II... love...y..you!" Papa said while caressing my face.

"Prin..cess.. go.. and don't look back. Please listen to us, is it for your sake and safety too. Go to the Magic Mountain and find Master Shin. He will teach you all you need to know! No matter what happened. I'll always love you and trust yourself. Find your true parents and tell your Granny Dad that we will be gone. I promise I will guide you. Princess! " mama said.

"Ma, Pa, why are you saying that? You're going to be alive. Don't leave me!"

"Stay and hide in the secret room Princess NOW!"

"Why?"

"AS I SAID, GO THERE AND HIDE!" Papa shouted. I go to the secret room, and I see people wearing black cloaks while walking to my parents.

"Where's your daughter?" One of the men in black cloaks from the left asked. But no one replied.

"No one answering? So you must die!" Until the sword stabbed mama and papa in the chest and burned them in the black fire. All I want is to get revenge for my parent's death. All I want is their death too! Until I couldn't control myself from being so angry until I fell asleep.

"Jackie! Wake up! JACKIE!!!" TSS .. Who's that noisy. Oh! That's annoying! I still want to sleep!

"Jackie !! Why don't you want to wake you up!" I get up and turn around. Who wouldn't want to get up when someone suddenly showers me with a basin of water. Tsk. I hope she just bathed me. Tsk!

JOLINA POV

In doing that, I received a deadly cold stare from her hehe. I was getting nervous there. She got up and went to the bathroom. 'Hello, Jolina! You'll be fine later! ' What kind of conscience is this? I am scared.

By the way, I'm Jolina Margaret Tuazon, the only best friend of Jackie. It's true that we were best friends back then, but I don't know now. Hehe. But even though she's cold, I know she loves me. She always saves me in any way when I am in danger. Even though she's like that, I love her too. I can't blame her for being like that. She's the one who saw her family die and some of the people die, even my own parents. But even so, I don't blame her because she is a 9 -year -old child who can be equal to armed people and not so ordinary people? Hey! But I know that she is different from us. She was extraordinary in battle. Hehe. She's my idol.

"Will you just stand up?" Jackie with her cold voice, as always.

"Because I didn't know you were there hehe, I said I'm going!" Then she walks fast. But I'm happy now because our man's best friend will be honest with his feelings. Jackie can have a love life now. I'm so excited. But the question is, will Jackie accept his love?

"Hurry up." She shouted at me.

"Because you walk so fast, Jack. Just join in the marathon. I'm sure you will win." Haha. I received a deadly cold stare at her. I wanted to see her smile again, like when we were little. When will I be able to see that again?

JACKIE POV

"Because you walk so fast, Jack. Just join in the marathon. I'm sure you will win." I didn't read her mind. I know that her mind is full of greed for meat. 🤣🤣🤣

*** UNIVERSITY ****

We finally got here even though the University is within walking distance from our condo. Yes, we have a Condominium unit. Our house is far from here. Until we got to the classroom and I went straight to my chair.

JOLINA POV

When we arrived at the University, they were almost looking at Jackie. Who wouldn't look at her? She had fair white skin, a sharp nose, black eyes, long eyelashes, long hair, and pinkish-red lips. Who can't grab that attention? If the face is like a Goddess of Beauty. The only strange thing is, her eyes are blank. You will see no emotion from it when we enter the classroom. The previously chaotic, noisy room suddenly became quiet. Are they still scared? Who isn't afraid of the Detention President? Huh? Even the Student Council President was scared of her.

She snuggled in her chair, and I'm sure she's going to sleep until the Professor arrives. The Professor said that the sleeping people wake them up, only one person next to me, that he didn't want to wake up the most. Haha. You see that even the Professors are afraid of her. Who isn't? Even though sometimes I will say YES to that. That's Life! I hope nothing will be lost, and bad things will happen to her when it is time for her to leave this world, even when she cannot live normally like us. Hopefully, when you go, I can see your genuine smile again. :)
