Revived

A day passed when the entire mountain suddenly was threatened by an overwhelming aura, all the beasts shivered in fear because of it. But was instantly gone in a second.

Under the ground, inside the cave where Lander was buried, his body exploded with vitality as he released a terrifying aura. He was alive.

He wasn't dead, he was actually in hibernation, the difference was - he became lifeless instead of breathing. That was all because of the aura accumulated in his body due to the constant beating of the devil guards infused with aura.

It took time before his body digested all those aura as it was slowly being implanted in his whole body: down to his body cells, blood, bones, organs, brain and hair to his skin. Every part of him has now an aura that could be released. Once his body digested everything, it released on its own without Lander's control.

Despite that, Lander was still asleep and when he woke up, everything was dark. He can't even breath and he felt the soil all over him. He knew instantly that he was buried, "Wait? I'm still alive? But what the f*cking h*ll is this sh*t luck! I always survive but always ended up in getting killed again?!"

But he calmed himself as he applied his breathing technique that he always used in surviving his hellish training back on Earth while praying that a miracle would happen.

On the far side of the mountain, a pack of wolves shuddered upon feeling that dreadful aura except one who was actually excited. He was Grey.

Without hesitation, Grey ran as fast as he could following the aura. Although it was gone after a second, he could still feel a presence he would never forget. He then reached the cave where Lander treated his father. Seeing the freshly dug soil, Grey immediately roared calling his pack as he started digging the soil.

After a while, a group of wolves entered the cave and also helped Grey afraid that he would kill them, even some beasts joined them and helped. Soon, Lander's feet was exposed.

When Lander felt his feet being licked, he was immediately happy and knew it was his buddy, Grey.

Sometimes later, Lander was eventually exposed thoroughly and was happy to see his buddy, "Grey! You really are my buddy!"

Then he turned his head towards the group of beasts as he kowtowed yet the beasts were afraid of him because of his aura that he can't control, "I also thank you for helping my buddy here to dug me up!"

"Wait! Grey, you advanced? Congratulations buddy!" Lander didn't mind the beasts actions as he was happy especially when he noticed Grey's advancement, he was now a Rank B beast.

Grey howled happily as he licked Lander while his tail wiggled nonstop. Then he looked at Lander with longing eyes telling him to have a contract.

"Buddy, we don't have to have another contract as I don't want to force you from doing anything. If you still want to follow me, then just follow me not as my contract beast but my best friend, what do you say?" Lander smiled patting Grey's head.

Grey nodded as he understood, he then turned towards his back as he communicated with them - to say goodbye once again and to thank the other beasts who helped.

On the other hand, Lander moved towards Grey's parents that made them scared, "You are Grey's parents right? You should have my blood as my repayment."

Looking at each other, Grey's parents was bewildered but was soon explained by their son as they already knew that Lander has the capability to turn them into a real beast.

After a while, Grey's parents now were now real beasts as they were instantly upgraded to a Rank E level 10, only an evolution needed for them to be upgraded.

Staring at the other beasts who were stunned and somehow expectant, Lander had no choice but to also help them upgrade as his appreciation for digging him up.

One by one, the beasts upgraded to another rank while the animals turned into a real beasts.

After that, Lander removed the contract to them except Grey's parents. He then dismissed them as Lander turned towards Grey, "Hey buddy, do you trust me?"

Grey, of course nodded without a slight hesitation.

"Then would you be willing to be my testing subject?" Lander asked and Grey despite confused still nodded. "Then let's find a better place together with your parents."

Then they traversed three weeks going towards the Elven forest. And while they were traversing, Lander was always trying to control his aura. At first it was difficult, but when he had a sudden enlightenment, they would stop for Lander to digest everything. Eventually, Lander was able to control his aura.

Arriving at the Elven Forest, Lander and the other beasts didn't dare to enter it as they wandered outside looking for a spot where Lander could test what was on his mind.
