Chapter16: A Warm Reception

 Arc: The Temple 

The Holy City  is one the populated cities in Alanazia with hug high buildings .A sophisticated city with many magic users and traders who come across the  whole kingdom to sell their magic products  such as weapons , swords and spells . It is characterized by a famous gigantic temple that includes all the history of the legendary guards . 

In the Holy City station that was full of  crowd .

Tom:"How are we going to get out of here?"

"Hey!...don't move ." a soldier shouts while he follows a man wearing a brown coat. Master Valko runs after the  other soldiers who were also running  until they grabbed the man in the middle of the crowds. 

Marissa calls , running with the rest after the Master:"Master !"

The man is on the ground, his mouth and hands were tied with a belt .The soldiers opened the man's straps and then the man started yelling:"Believe me , I didn't do anything ...They caught me and threaten me ."

Master shouts:"Who are they?..who did this"

The man:"It is them , the...."

 We were listening carefully, but the man couldn't complete his words. A bullet pierced the man's forehead causing his death in less than a second . People were shocked and so were we .

One of the soldiers :"Okay , keep going..... those things always happen here ..go on."

Then he stops and stared at the Master and whispers to him:"You are Master Valko?...You don't need to be taken in , please take care of your own myths about the legendary guards."

Greed was ready to hit him, but the doctor stopped him , holding Greed's arm.

Master Valko as he leaves:"Sergent Signe, we will see...who is telling, myths , when we crush those Redeyes one by one."

Tom, talks to himself :"What the hell happened?"

Christene:"Are these accidents commonly occur here?"

Nichole:"Now I am truly scared to continue this journey ...what about the others?"

Jason:"What a warm welcome?!"

"YAAAAAAA!....look at this poster, It's the Golden voice."

Marissa, putting her hand on her head:"Master. we need to go to..."

Master :"Marissa, be patient..we have plenty of time, lets have a rest."

Greed:"Old man, you always have a rest."

Dr.Marcus:"Master, you are planing  to go to the cocert from the start."

Master:"Yup, and guess what , I already bought the tickets for tonight ."

Jason:"Oh no you didn't." 

As the others were chatting and argue Christene was looking at the poster when someone bumped into her .

Christene:"Hi you dropped this ....this is a strange pen , there is pure water inside it, you can't write with it ?!"

Our adventurers are now at the concerst theatre , they heard the softest and strongest ,clearest voice in the whole kingdom and it is time to end the concert. 

"Ladies and gentlemen, the moment has come to pull out the winner's number who will get a chance to meet The Golden Voice Ayami and get a signature with the new album. So get ready and check you tickets ."

The Master:"There is no need to chick anything...because the number is .."

"Okay , we are having a ticket number of 1...6."

Master:"0...2...4..3"

Jason:"Hey..that's my number."

Greed:"No, it's not ..It's mine."

Master Valko:"We all have the same number."

The Master stands in the middle of the audience looking at Ayam's manager with blackmail eyes .

Ayam's manager as he grabs one of the staffs upset:"What this crazy old man saying , how can he have it?"

Ayami , walking on the stage :"Hold yourself ,It is not a big deal , each one will get a signature and one will get the album . that's over."

Jason:"Why do I feel that there is a conspiracy behind this ?"

Marissa:"I remembered now , Master asked me before to copy the train tickets since you guys don't have an ID . That's why I felt that I copied too much tickets. "

Greed:"You were coping the concet tickets too."

Nichole:"But how, there are handreds of tickets in the drawing box?"

Dr. Marcuse:"I used my mental magic to let the host choose the correct ticket number.  I told you before , The Master was planning to go to the concert from the start."

Christene:"Is it possible to have two types of magic?"

Marissa:"Yes in these ages , my main magic is copy magic the other is search magic that's how I found Jason .... though it makes me  dizzy and I forget the location of the person I'm searching for If I used it for so long."

Dr.Marcuse:"It has lots of risks cause one of the two types goes through our body which makes it harder to gather magic aura fro nature."

Tom:"He isn't a senile old man after all."

Master:"What are you blabbering about lets move."

"Eventhough how  brilliant the plane was...why  didn't he aske for a proper  meeting ?!" They all asked their selves.

One hour ago at the top of a high building in the Holy City near the station.

Diana:"What have you done Guy, we were about to get caught."

Guy:"It wasn't so bad, besides can you continue theis mission you are still injured?"

Diana:"I'm fine."

Guy:"There are six 6 more days before the vaccination ."

Diana:"I told you I'm fine."

Guy:"Why you think the King is worried about them?"

Diana:"The king trust his intentions , he thinks that there are people who support them in these days."

Guy:"When all this ends , I won't need to stay in the shadows  ever again."

Ayami:"Come in please."

(Ayami Wirchester a talented girl with a short blue hair up to her shoulders and a bright pink eyes.)

Ayami"Before you take my signature let me ask you , how did all of you have the same tickets?"

Tom:"Umm, a coincidence."

Ayami as she smiles:"It cannot be a coincidence , the person who checked the tickets was me and they were totally different, you copied them."

Master Valko as he puts a letter on the dressing table :"Bravo....As I expected from Miss Ayami , self-reliance."

Ayami opens the letter and reads it carefully , she looked at the security asking them to leave them alone . She looked at the Master from the dressing table mirror:"Is it Master Valko?"

Master:"Yup, it is him."

Ayami:"Nice to see you alive after all these years."

Greed:"Oy, do you wish his death?"

Ayami:"No ,of course not , so do you need anything else."

Master:"All of you I represent to you , Ayami the water guard."

Ayami:"I'll count on you my fellow guardians ."

She said as she pulled her sleeve from her left arm showing them her light blue tattoo which was the word water in Japanese (水) Mizu .
