Chapter 39: A Smile

Arc: Train to the Capital

 A few minutes before the train fight, at the Army  Headquarters near the Diamond City, Brigadier General  Harry is engaged with his research on the deadly Panthers organization and then Sergeant Signe enters.

Signe enters the Lieutenant's office: "Brigadier General Harry !"

Harry: "How many times do I have to warn you to knock on the door before entering the office?"

Signe :" Yes, but"

Harry interrupts: "Go back and knock on the door."

Signe returns back and knocks on the door:" I got a call from the station , the train which carries the training equipment has derailed into a dead end. "

(Brigadier General   Harry, is a man with keen intuition, he has served the military since the age of 19, he uses a special arrows has a  seals  with whatever magic he can use by his arrow . )

Harry leaves while wearing his white army uniform :" The 3rd squad is going with me on the sledges , you get another squad ready if we need support ."

Signe, military pause  :" Yes ,sir."

In  Christine's, Master, Tom and the twins locomotive that is still stuck on the  bridge, Lasto comes floating outside the train  with her rubber ball ,  she touched the train and then began floating in the air , she pulled it across the train track and let the passengers disembark.

One of the passengers :" Thank you very much , you saved us."

Farsto shyly :" It is our duty."

A child screams :"Mom , look they are the soldiers , they came to help us."

A number of soldiers were flying with their Air sled, as they were walking in the air , coming from behind the train .  

Master:" Tom, continue  your way to Zeke , we're going to see Jason."

Then he said to himself: " I don't think they caught up with the locomotive that caries the equipment yet, the last locomotive split before the train changed its path. "

Farsto :" Quick , let's get out of here, Lasto!"

Lasto on her ball:" Hop on ."

The four of them speed toward the front locomotive among the bushes, Dusty tied up in front of the locomotive while Tom speed with his shoes to the last locomotive.

Harry on his Air sled , accompanied by a group of soldiers a short distance from the train:" STOP!"

Harry started shooting his magic sealed arrows at Christine and the rest on Lasto's ball, but they soon disappeared when the Master waved his hand fan to increase their speed .

Harry:" four of you ,after them ."

Solider:" Brigadier General  , look, there's a guy tied up in front of the locomotive ."

Harry:" Let's get down here, check the passenger's safety ."

Soldier :"Yes , sir."

Harry:" Did they do this? Felix, tell me what you see."

Colonel Felix touches Dusty's shoulder:" This guy ..he is from the Deadly Panthers . They're after the equipment , and hey... there are others. They've scattered in different locomotives." 

(Colonel Felix is ​​someone who doesn't talk much. He has the magic of clairvoyance, meaning he can tell about any event with anyone before 30 minutes just by touching the person or the place of the event.)

Harry on his sled:" Felix take things from here."

Harry completes with himself:" They are indeed , the legendary guards ."

 Meanwhile, in the last locomotive carrying the equipment.

Marissa: " I can't believe he's still standing?!"

Patrick: "Let me show you what the Deadly Panthers can do ."

The muscles of his body increased and protruded until his shirt was torn , he chased after Zeke trying to punch him while Zeke evaded him with difficulty . Patrick appears in front of him , behind him and from his side extremely fast . 

Ayami talking to Marissa and Nichole:" He's not only strong... his speed is phenomenal !"

Zeke with himself: " I can keep up with him , though until when?"

Patrick grabs Zeke's hand: "Game over."

 Zeke talks to his weapon (the pulley):" Hey, String!!"

Patrick increased his fist , pressing the pulley in Zeke's left hand , Zeke, screaming in pain: Aaaah!"

Ayami ran towards them throwing a water ball: " Stooop!!"

Patrick turns around and his head got into a bubble of water while Nichole walked over to Zeke.

Nichole :"Let's get you out of here."

Zeke:" No, I can keep on ...String and I can do it ."

Ayami:" Zeke, you're not alone anymore , let's do it together , you have two minutes to recover ."

Zeke:" Yeah, let's do it."

Patrick , holding his breath :" These little tricks won't work on me ."

Tom:" Sorry, I'm late."

Nichole wonders: "Tom !, what?!"

Tom:" Not now, Jason faces some problems , but  you guys are trying to weather the storm on your own ."

 Zeke: "Tom, I have an offer for you.

Patrick screamed and shook his head quickly ,which made the bubble gone :"Why don't we finish this."

Ayami: "You should've stayed longer."

She hit him with her whip in succession and with a fast speed.  

Patrick turns towards her and puts his arm in front of him as a shield :"Enough is enough !!,...you slut, what is this ?!  "

Zeke:" Don't move , I'll slice you like an onion ."

Zeke was on Tom's back , while Ayami was fighting Patrick , Tom ran around Patrick , carrying Zeke who sends and pulls strings around Patrick . 

Nichole:" Tom turned around with Zeke behind his back."

Marissa:" So Zeke took the advantage of it and tied the strings around Patrick's whole body."

Patrick, trying to move as the blood comes out of him due to the pressure of the tendons on his body: "I'll win , you hear me ."

Since Patrick  was stubborn , Zeke cut his leg and made him cry out in pain, Nichole covered her eyes to avoid the scene .

Tom surprised:" Di..Did you have to go over that limit."

Zeke with a horrified eyes :"I'm able to kill you here for what you did to String, so if you continue to be so stubborn I shall slay your head next time. "

Patrick smiled an innocent and unexpected smile from someone like him: "That's what you guards are, you show your kindness to the public, but you are the opposite... Seth, here I am your killer and  I am coming to you, my friend."

Everyone stands stunned and amazed as Patrick is crawling on the ground and the pressure of the tendons on his body increases , blood continues to run down from his neck, arm , foot , back and even his chest . 

Ayami:" What...what are you doing ,do you wanna die ?!....Zeke , Zeke do something , oy Zeke?!"

Zeke let go of his arm and relax his tendons , wondering , Patrick stopped moving and sat cross legged on the ground , blood and wounds on his full body , then he smiled again .

Patrick smiles innocently:" You changed my mind in a second ...you are really stupid ."

With an innocent smile he looked at them, and then punched himself so hard that you could hear his neck bones breaking, and he fell to the ground and died straight away, leaving faces of shock on them.

Ayami fell on her knees :"W..why?!"

Silence prevailed in the place and they were shocked , wondering what happened in those minutes , what made him kill himself , and what was the secret of that last smile which appeared on his face.
